Say what?!? Kelli has gone off the rails lol. I don't think it's possible for Kelsey to be in better shape without starting to look like a body builder. It's certainly possible I missed something but wow....

Say what you will about Kelsey's dancing, but I feel comfortable saying that she will never get called into the office for a weight warning. It seems like she is always in amazing shape.

Thunderstruck definitely seemed a bit lackluster there, but I think some of it had to do with the formation being much wider than it usually is. With that said, this may be blasphemous here lol, but I don't think Kashara is an ideal point girl, dance-wise. She looks good, and I have no issue with her staying in that position (not that my opinion matters to K&J), but I actually find my eyes drifting to Cersten in that clip.

Yikes at the Holly wardrobe malfunction!! I'm really curious as to why Katelyn did not make training camp. She appeared to be one of the best dancers there and has amazing kicks. I really hope there's something more than just her hair.

Yeah, same. I think there are 8 3 years and only 1 4th year girl (Lacey).

And didn't she and Erica go on some cruise together this summer? She may well be unliked by some of her teammates, but certainly doesn't appear to be everyone.

I'm interested to see if they focus on Alexis at all. I don't think she (or several of the TCCs for that matter) have been mentioned thus far. However based on the pics, she seems to be the most likely one to bring the glam. I'll keep an open mind, but this class already seems a bit dull to me.

Completely agree, 100%. A lot of how you see it is simply in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I don't see the "Holly is a badass for quitting, rather than taking her punishment for the rules chose to she break" angle, but hey whatever works. There are definitely times in life to put your foot down like Holly seems to have done and other times to swallow your ego and save your ass like Jenna apparently did. I have no idea what was the right course of action was here. Regardless, I think all of these girls will be perfectly fine in the long run.

Honestly, I feel like I have Jenna fatigue more than anything. She's talked about constantly, and while I also find her social media annoying, I like her dancing. However, I'm not quite sure where the extreme disdain comes from. She's not really been featured that much.... I felt the same way about Megan C last year however.

Yeah, I agree. It's one reason why I try to stay away from the character judgments of these girls. I don't know them, and I know from experience at my own job, which is not filmed (thank god!), how stories can get twisted and how people can get bad reps that are undeserved - though some are certainly deserved lol. Now the obviously chose to be on the show, but it's not like The Real World. If they want to be a DCC, they don't have a choice.

Interesting!!!! So maybe Erica's release is not completely injury related. Can you share why Mandy decided not to return? If you can't, completely understandable, but I don't know think we've ever gotten the story on that.

If the rumors are true about Holly quitting, it seems she was also allowed to stay as well, but instead, she chose to go. We'll find out soon enough about point, but if they're allowing her to stay on as group leader, I wouldn't be surprised if she's still point, which actually doesn't bother me. Group leader seems to be more about leadership, whereas point is about dance. She's certainly a good dancer. Kashara is as well of course. Is Simone the only 3 year girl who isn't a second group leader or group leader?

Wait, so Erica is out too? Goodnesss! So basically they're down to Jenna (assuming she's still there), Jinelle, and Lacey as the only cheerleaders with more than 3 years under their belt? Damn. Given the departures of Erica and Holly (assuming she's gone), Jenna and Cersten are the only 2 who are still on the team who I would have considered to be in the top tier of dancers from last year. I know Lacey is good but she's never really caught my attention in DCC dance as oppppsed to solos, and I would say the same for last year's rookies, other than Cersten, although I know Madeline is a favorite of many people. Hopefully, there are some rockstars in this rookie class. They need it!

I agree that its not the end of the world for Holly. While I don't think that following the rules that you signed up for is BS, she's 20. She will survive just like the other DCCs who have been dismissed have. CMT should do a "where are they now" of the vets who got cut. I'm sure most of them have moved on with their lives, just like the DCCs will move on without Holly. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are the most prestigious NFL dance team, but there are plenty of other dance jobs out there - in reality, I actually can see her more as a basketball dancer than football. Now, if she did just quit in a tizzy, then she likely will have some regret, but for all we know, this may end up being a blessing if it causes her to grow up and do better at her next job. Hell, she could decide that dance is really her passion and could find something else, like so many other people do in life.

Unpopular opinion: I prefer Judy to Kelli. I feel like Judy is definitely the meaner one of the two and definitely has a "bitchy" vibe at times, but I also feel like she's more upfront and less personal about her critiques. When she doesn't think someone is a good dancer or when she thinks they will annoy her, she just says it. I feel like Kelli can never just say that she dislikes someone or she just can't see them on the team. She tends to make her issues as to a character flaw of the girl, which annoys me.

Definitely agree. As for Jenna, if what we've read on here is true, it seems she got away with a pretty big infraction the previous year with a wrist slap and was then given a clean slate, made group leader 1 and point, so regardless of whether I think she's responsible for Holly, I don't think a serious punishment for Jenna is wrong or unfair given those factors. I guess what I'm really curious about is whether her punishment is due to her leadership position /past issues or if it's just a rule in general. As an example, I think it was said on here that Paige and Danielle lived together. I find the possibility that Danielle didn't know that Paige was seriously dating a player to be zero. Is that punishment worthy if she didn't say anything. I don't think it should be, but I'm curious as to what Kelli would say.

At the very least, I hope that they clarify what the rules are, and what is and isn't a dealbreaker. I know that we probably will not get that because I'm sure that the punishments vary based on what Kelli wants to do. However, I find it extremely hard to believe that there haven't been other examples of cheerleaders drinking underage. We know from Dallas residents who post here that Caila was spotted at 21 and up bars when she was underage, and while she didn't make it back, nothing (that we saw) indicated that her partying was the main driver behind the cut, and I don't recall her ever missing any events prior to that. Now, it well have been the reason for the cut, and they just hid behind the weight excuse, but thats speculation. I'm really interested in the Jenna suspension as well....is her punishment only because she was with Holly (obviously she's old enough to be in that club, and it doesn't seem like there is a prohibition against clubbing generally), or a combo of last years issues, potential fraternization, bad judgment hereetc. If a vet is aware that an underage girl is breaking the law at a 21 and up club for instance, but isn't physically there, and doesn't report It, is that punishment-worthy, as well? I would assume not, but who knows.

After reviewing this, I just realized that neither Lacey, nor Katelyn (sp?) made it. Dang...they were two of the ones I liked. It's nice however to finally start recognizing some people in the pictures.

I really enjoyed this episode. I'm glad that they included the veteran section at the end. I've always liked Kashara, but the part with Yuko made me like her even more. I couldn't tell though - was Kelli saying that she asked Kashara to live with Yuko or that they just roomed together in the Bahamas? I thought the latter, but not sure. If Jenna isn't yet the mother hen type, she's not going to be, and that's ok in a general sense IMO. Jenna is certainly a leading dancer on the team, but everyone doesn't have the personality to be a conventional leader. On another note, I like the light brown hair color on Jenna. I hope Cersten gets into med school. Anyone know what test they were talking about? I thought the MCAT, but I don't think that's not a pass/fail test. Kelsey....please stop talking about the bad interviews. It's played out at this point. If she didn't embarrass the team this year (which she apparently did not), then she's probably not some huge ambassador risk. As for the new girls, I like Lacey. I'm not usually not moved by the stories, as I feel like the producers try too hard to find a sob story sometimes, but her story was really touching. I hope she makes it. Alexandra's story confused me slightly. Did she and her boyfriend buy a house in Boston or Dallas? She seems like the type of person who K&J would really like on the team however. She gives off the vibe of being a strong, mature dancer already. Brianna's kicks were too low. She had no business making it to finals, and her dancing wasn't that impressive either. Dayton - either the producers don't like her and purposely only showed weak snippets of her dance, or her showmanship needs a lot of work. I like her personally from what I've seen and I think she's pretty, but dance-wise...I didn't see it in this episode. I knew Cersten, Erica, and Tess were dancers at LSU, but I didn't know Khalyn was. Do any of the Texas schools have 4 current DCCs on the squad? It seems like LSU is becoming a pipeline for the DCCs. I like Katelyn as well. Her look is harsh, but they should be able to fix that. Whitney...I get the reasoning that if she hasn't improved, don't take her to finals, but on some level, there seemed to be a "how dare she keep coming back" sentiment that rubbed me the wrong way.

When I watch from the field angle, I like Kashara as point. However, from this angle Cersten's movements seem much sharper and defined. Just an observation.

I can give them a break for not knowing other people in the administration/family, but the First Lady - you need to know. Now if they asked, what is Trump's youngest daughter's name, I get why some people would get that wrong, for instance.

Yeah, I get it lol. More speculation from me (but hey, why not at this point), but Kelli's response does make me think that Holly is either on some sort of probation but still on the team or that she quit. If she did quit, that may have been followed by a discussion where they reminded her of her contract and made it clear that she can't say or do anything that would give away what happened. This could obviously be way off base, but seems odd that they would kick her off and then basically hold everything in limbo (twitter, etc). It would basically be saying - "what you're did was so serious that you're gone, BUT we're still gonna let you have a DCC twitter and when people ask about you, we're going to refuse to say that you're not still a DCC." May be ok legally, but very strange IMO.

Well Kelli's twitter response seems to imply that not only are they ok with all of the speculation, but that they welcome it to the extent that it gets people to tune in to the show. Also, unless they're going to go way out of order, not sure how they're going to keep the "is Holly on the team or not" speculation going for too long. I imagine the football season would be well underway before they get to this incident on the show, since it happened towards the end of training camp.
