  1. Even if a lawsuit were possible, they could certainly remove her twitter handle and anything else associating her w the team, assuming that she is no longer on the squad. That's fairly standard, and most orgs and companies will rather quickly, if not immediately, remove people from their website, etc, if they're no longer employed/affiliated. I would agree that most employers would not make public statements (legal culpability or not), and I don't expect one here outside of the show potentially. I would be curious as to what sort of legal action, they would be facing here however.
  2. Yeah, K&J don't owe us a public statement or anything, but Jenna and Holly are really visible, so their absence was going to be noticed. If Holly is gone, then they should just remove her twitter. That's the main way that we've found out about DCCs not making it back after finals or being cut during training camp. I think that's how we found out about Hannah at least. I can't remember how the Chelsea cut got out. If Holly is still on the team, then they should post a pic on twitter/instagram from training camp with her in the background. It really could be something that simple and would at least cut down on some speculation.
  3. On a different issue, did the girl with the really harsh dark hair (good spinner) make training camp? Does anyone know her name?
  4. FWIW, I don't think Jenna ever said that K&J begged her to come back, said that they thought that the team wouldn't the same without her, or said that they singled her out beyond every other retiring vet. IIRC, she was asked why she came back and said that K&J said that they thought she had more to offer. Perhaps it never happened, but nothing about that seems all that unusual to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if others got similar comments. Whether it's Jenna, Jenn K, Erica or whoever else, they're good dancers who already have a uniform, know most of the dances, can handle the schedule, etc. I imagine that's it easier having them back than having a gazillion rookies, and the team was already losing lots of great dancers from last year's team. If she made it clear that she was on the fence, I actually would be surprised if they didn't try to nudge her to stay. Same with any other strong vet.
  5. Khalyn. ETA: In fairness tho, I've always thought Khalyn is one of those people who can look totally different on different days. Often times I see her, and I'm like "who is that?" Lol.
  6. I *think* it was her third year, but those couple of years are running together. I think her second year, it may have been Holly, Emma, and Jacie in the triangle, and then she moved into Emma's spot the next season. Jenn K's rookie class is not all that memorable to me however, so I may not be remembering correctly.
  7. Was Crystal Trevino up there as a second year? I don't think so, but if someone was, she might be my guess. I've been a Cersten fan since the fan videos last year - she stood alone as having a handle on the choreography. I know that part of her positioning now is due to circumstance - Erica injured, Jenna and Holly out, but still...she jumped a bunch of people who are more senior than her. It will be interesting to see what they do when Jenna returns (will it be a "you did your time and can slide back in your old spot" or a "you blew it" type of thing). I thought Jenna looked great at point at Oxnard, but Kashara looked great as well. I know Lacey isn't quite as glam, but I think she would be fine there as well, and of course, there is Erica too.
  8. Is the rule that they cannot date players or that they're not supposed to socialize with them at all?
  9. Holly made that one small error during one performance at Oxnard, but we've seen other girls make similar mistakes in videos throughout the season, and they never missed games or appearances, at least based on what's been stated here. I do think that there is something to Holly still having her twitter profile though. They've been a bit slower this year in removing profiles, but if the offense is so serious to warrant dismissal right before the season starts, you would think that they would be eager to remove DCC from her profile as well.
  10. I think all of the posts after are retweets or replies so that may be why you're not seeing it (although retweets at least usually show up, sometimes u have to go the tab for "tweets and replies" to see the replies).
  11. Let's hope so at least lol. I'm sure they have better sources than this board, and if info makes it here, it probably got to them first. And while I think most of us are just here to gossip about the show for fun, you may have some who have a personal axe to grind with some of the DCCs (and that happens with any message board where the topic of discussion is real ppl). So while they are aware of and obviously read the board, I'm sure they take a lot of info skeptically.
  12. Do we know when the DCC team picture is scheduled. Other than the football team schedule that you laid out, it seems like the picture is the only other indication of when the team will be named. It's odd though. Doesn't seem like it should be take this long to name the team. Hopefully, they're not just dragging it out for the show.
  13. Yep, I think she pissed off Kelli, and her days were numbered at that point. Kelli wears her emotions on her sleeve in some ways. It's obvious when she really like someone, and obvious when she doesn't or is completely over someone. Some examples are Whitney (see ep 1 this season), Vivian (she wore out her welcome with Kelli), Hannah (Kelli seemed totally over her), Ashley Paige, and Chelsea (same as Hannah).
  14. Shelly has already stated that everyone involved with the show signs non-disclosure agreements and that she is not going to comment on this situation. I'm certainly not trying to tell anyone what to post about, but unless, she has a change of heart, she's not going to answer, and frankly does anyone expect to state whether or not she believes Jenna (or anyone else) is valuable to the organization? I get some people may not like Jenna, but K&J are not going to get rid of her because some anonymous people on a message board want that to happen (Cassie is proof enough of that). I don't agree with some of what they do as well (though I haven't seen anything to suggest that there is favoritism in this specific situation), but ultimately, they can do what they want. As long as they're not doing something to get themselves sued (and as someone who does labor and employment legal work, lots of employers get hit with BS lawsuits, so you can only do so much lol), they have a ton of leeway in making decisions.
  15. I agree. I was just listing the actual rumors that we have heard. I have to assume though that there is likely be more to the story, if the issues stem from that club visit (which may not even be the case). Both of them went to Oxnard after all, and that was after the club night.
  16. I didn't really like or dislike her, but I agree that if she tones up, she could definitely be a real contender. I like Dayton, but I also think she is also a bit soft. Nothing major or drastic by any means, but I agree with others who pointed this out upthread.
  17. We don't know lol. The two rumors are that 1) she was dating a player last year; and 2) she was at a club a few weeks ago (where it has been stated that EE got in a fight that night). Holly was reportedly with her at the club, which is a 21 and up club. Jenna is old enough to be in there. Holly is not. Everything is based on rumors, but some of these rumors came from people who have provided legit insider information in the past. The stuff about Jenna constantly breaking rules, being a brat, showboat, or disliked by her teammates seems to be people's personal opinions or speculation. Social media accounts from other DCCs doesn't indicate that she's disliked at all, and if anything, seems BFFs with everyone, but you never know what the real dynamics are on a team. The seemingly sweetest girls to the outside world are anything but lol. That's one reason why I took the "Megan is mean and awful" rumors last year with a grain of salt, could be true, could not be. Who knows. I am a bit confused about the Paige comparison from upthread. Wasn't the story on her that she quit and then put proceeded to put up a bunch of pics and other stuff that made her relationship with her football player BF very public (not really blaming her or anything, if she found her future husband, good for her!). Not seeing the huge comparison. She obviously was over hiding her relationship. As for Cersten, I really hope she gets into medical school if that is still her goal. I remember that one my friend's husband took a couple of years after undergrad to go take classes and get better grade in several courses, and he ended up getting in a top notch med school, so it seems rather common not to go straight through after undegrad. It's also possible that she's decided on something else.
  18. Kellil seems to flat out dislike Whitney. It was almost like she seemed annoyed that she dared to try out again. That was just weird. I have no issue with Christina but I didn't notice a huge difference in her performance. I think her haircut is cute however. Kalyssa definitely has sex appeal but at a few points, it was a bit much lol. I like both Briana's. I'm friends with a few people who weee friendly with Titans-Briana in college, so I'm partial to rooting for her. I am surprised that they didn't even take the ballroom dancer to semis, honestly. She had a harsh look, but it would have been interesting to see her to do DCC choreography. I like Dayton.
  19. Yeah I assume that she's not usually on the end (I would guess Jenna or one of the short rookies will be on the end), and that may have contributed the issue, but her whole technique looked off. She seriously was flirting with disaster there.
  20. Amen to all of this, and I would just also add that saying "Holly/Jenna/Paige/whoever knew what the rules were" does not equal saying "those rules are great." Personally, I think the non-fraternization rule is dumb and antiquated. However, if they don't want to abide by it, they can ) refuse to sign on or 2) hey can engage in the behavior anyway and hope that they don't get caught - but if they get caught, then they have to take the consequences, whatever those consequences may be. The same goes for any other rule. Holly and Jenna are both phenomenal dancers and beautiful young women. I don't dislike either of them (or anyone else), nor do I think they're bad people because they apparently ran afoul of some rules. However, this is a 3 year vet and a 6 year vet. They know the game, and I'm not going to blame Kelli and Judy for enforcing their rules. Of course, should the real story emerge, and it's shown to be some outrageous behavior by the DCCs towards them, that's different, but I don't have a reason to think that.
  21. Oh Im not suggesting that it's right, just that I bet that if Chelsea were a star performer on the team, her mouthing off may not have been so detrimental. Likewise, K&J give certain girls more leeway in weight warnings than others.
  22. Are the multitear issues just referring to the rumors ttst each was dating a player last year and then were at a club this year when football players were present? Or is there more? In fairness to Kelli and Judy, Chelsea was also partying when she got dismissed and was a weak performer. No doubt the standards are not uniform for all girls, but she wasn't only cut for making a joke about it. Too bad if Holly quit or was dismissed, but seems odd that she would still have her DCC handle if that's the case. I know that there was a delay in Raylee/Heather/Allie's twitters being changed, but they were just cut at finals, as opposed to leaving on bad terms. Also possible however that her twitter has been locked for the time being, since Holly hasn't tweeted at all.
  23. Honestly, that was my thought - that there may be some investigation related to that incident that somehow involved them if they were there, which I was thought was stated on here at the time (internally in the cowboys org or outside of it), but it's definitely speculative. That's not to say that it couldn't be a boring, non-juicy explanation for their absence, but it seems like they wouldn't be silent on social media if that were the case. I've already seen tweets where fans are asking where they are from looking at the pics. However, Im going to stop trying to be a sleuth though lol! I definitely have no insider info, and it doesn't appear that we'll get confirmation of anything.
  24. I agree with this usually, but this Holly/Jenna thing is already pretty obvious. They may try to hide to the reason for this suspension/probation/whatever, but if they really wanted to pretend like everything was fine to the outside world, then it seems like an odd choice to pull out 2 of your best and most well-known dancers (one being your most senior) right before a big event. What let us know initially that there was a problem was Kelly posting the pic with Kashara at point, not insider information like we got last year on Jenna/Holly. Whatever it is, seems to have occurred after or during Oxnard.
  25. "Wait for the show." - this from Shelly in response to the question of whether Jenna and Holly are on probation? Hmmm. Well, I guess it doesn't surprise me if it's going to be covered on the show, as the punishment is very public and obvious (whether that's intentional or simply avoidable due to the severity of whatever problem there is, who knows). Regardless, Jenna and Holly are 2 of the most visible and well-known girls on the team, so fans would clearly know they were missing immediately, and they're not at home tweeting like you would assume they would be if missing due to an injury or something like that.
