  1. It's quite a contrast to how she appeared to be feeling on camera, isn't it? She could have stayed up there with the other women and had fun, but instead we see she's sitting at a table by herself, where she appeared to be absolutely miserable and pretty much pouting, for lack of a better word, like the kid chosen lost for the kickball team. IMO, she was probably regretting having agreed with Yo to that cleanse. All of that available liquor and she couldn't indulge. Hell, even wacko Kim seemed to be sober and having fun. There was no reason that I could tell for Brandi to isolate herself from the others instead of just jumping into the fun. Of course, with Bravo, there's always the possibility this was the editing monkeys at work cutting in random clips of Brandi to make her look bored and miserable. Nah, I'm thinking this is probably how Brandi really was while everyone else was having fun. I have great difficulty ever giving Brandi the benefit of the doubt.
  2. Pretty much. Until Kim discussed in detail any mental health issues she may or may not have as she has discussed her addiction issues, I'm not going to sit here and armchair diagnose that aspect of her life. Plus I'm a firm believer that not everyone who is a raging bitch, sober or not, needs to have a clinical diagnosis to explain away their behavior. Sometimes a nasty bitch is just a nasty bitch. That being said, I didn't need Kyle to out Kim in the limo for me to drawn my own conclusion that she was under the influence of something.
  3. I try to avoid discussing any mental illness Kim (or any other housewife, really) may or may not have, because, besides social anxiety, it's never been addressed or even mentioned (to my recollection) on the show so I try to stick to what we've been made privy. She's admitted to addiction issues and they've been (lord knows) front and center on the show for sometime, so I'm more comfortable in sticking to that aspect of her obviously whacked out behavior.
  4. I absolutely agree. My brother was an alcoholic who would call at the strangest hours, about as fucked up as we've seen Kim, and I'll be honest, there were times I would let that shit go straight to voicemail because I was otherwise busy with work or with my daughter and just didn't have the time nor emotional fortitude to deal with his drunken ramblings (which could go on for literally hours). I did what I had to do to stay sane. I'm sure Kyle has done the same. Agreed. She seems overly sensitive and defensive (almost to the point of paranoia) a lot of the time, and social isolation such as Kim described can really make that molehill into a mountain. That's why I said I can totally see Kim misinterpreting any lack of instant gratification in having her needs met as being slighted. In Kim's world, it's all about Kim, but in everyone else's world, it's about priorities and responsibilities. I don't think Kim gets that.
  5. I strongly suspect in the world of Kim Richards, something as innocuous as, "I can't talk right now Kim, I'm headed out the door to take Portia to school, I'll call you back later" would be perceived as a massive slight by Kim and interpreted as "She just doesn't want to talk to me. She doesn't have time for me." Kim apparently relapses/slips a lot. Sometimes people just look for a reason to feel slighted/neglected/abandoned/ignored because, in an addict's mind, it's the perfect excuse to "slip." Not saying this is what Kim's doing but I wouldn't be surprised to find it to be true.
  6. And because I haven't even had a full cup of coffee yet so I'm not a pleasant person yet, I would like to say to Kim: Stop tweeting hospital selfies and no one will even know your squirrel ass was in the hospital. Honestly, this woman is beginning to just piss me off with her "blah blah blah" about her privacy and shit. And, yeah, coughing does make one's oxygen saturation drop. If Kim were in the hospital and had that cough she claims fractured her rib, she would have been desaturating during every coughing episode. She would have had a nasal cannula for oxygen delivery as a preventative measure and her oxygen saturations would have been monitored continuously. It's standard protocol. I'm beginning to think her big mysterious hospital stay might have been a ruse for a quick medical detox. Something skeevy about the whole thing. Kinda like Kim herself.
  7. Maybe Gary needs to be who she calls instead of Brandi. I don't believe half of Kim's blog (and that's being generous). All of this support, but she chooses to call Brandi instead of a (presumably) professional life coach when there's a crisis, such as the infamous 2 am phone call in which she was in "harm's way"? (her words, not mine) And life coach Gary wouldn't have told her taking "a" pain pill that was not prescribed for her wasn't a good idea? Bitch is off her nut. She can lose me with this shit.
  8. Or for screeching at a patient that they should have died in the operating room. Jesus, what a piece of work this bitch is. Can't MTV just show Barbara with Jace and kick Micky and Mallory to the curb???
  9. I always thought Bravo outed Taylor's lie about Adrienne being that kid's godmother was because Taylor had pissed production off in some way. If the tides turn, Bravo can definitely destroy whatever they chose to build, that's for sure. Even Vicki, the "OG of the OC", was set up with the season of Laurie's return. Bravo has no loyalty, except to ratings.
  10. I love ya, Smack, I love all of us PTV'ers like a fat kid loves cake. Please, no snark intended and I'm just trying to clarify my viewpoint of this, as we're all individuals and all have different viewpoints of things we see unfold (which is what makes the world go 'round and what makes debating so goddamned entertaining). I have always interpreted Kyle's pointing at Brandi and saying to Kim, "See? See what she's doing?" (paraphrased), followed to Brandi a question of whether she wanted to "share" what that call was about as being rhetorical on Kyle's part. From my viewpoint, it never seemed that Kyle actually wanted Brandi to reveal the contents of that call but was insinuating that Brandi was bringing up the call so that she could use it as leverage to get in the contents of the call. And I think that's precisely what Brandi was doing and why she kept bringing it up, too. Brandi is always looking for a bullseye towards which to sling her mud, so I immediately drew the same conclusion Kyle did. And Kyle discussing the calls with Kim in Kim's bedroom occurred after the driveway incident, so it seems reasonable that Kyle would have addressed these other alleged with Kim at the first opportunity. I didn't get any nefarious or harmful intentions from Kyle's questioning Kim about these calls. Kim's buddy Brandi made them fodder for everyone's speculation. Now, in all fairness, maybe I'm perceiving it incorrectly and you're perceiving it correctly. That's the beauty of these shows and Bravo knows that...To create controversy and conversation and debate amongst viewers. I really wish Bravo/Andy would release "extended additional footage" DVD's of these franchises so maybe some of these incidents would be a little easier explained. Or at least do a big "reveal," as they did with the yet-before-unseen footage of Adrienne politely but firmly refusing to be Taylor's kid's godparent. I think the truth behind who was saying what with that was bandied about for a season or two before Bravo finally showed us what they'd known all along...That Taylor was a liar.
  11. And the Villa Blanca lawsuits!!!!!! I'd love to hear more about those and the subsequent settlement(s).
  12. Except for the MASSIVE caveat that Brandi dragged Kyle into it ON CAMERA. She made it Kyle's business, and all of America's, IMO.
  13. Couldn't possibly agree with this more. I thought all of the women in attendance were being kind and gracious with their treatment of Kim. And what does Kim do? She acts like...Well, Kim. An unapologetic, ungrateful, self-absorbed twit would require the jaws of life to get her head out of her ass. If I were these women, I'd realize I said all I could and just wash my hands of this bitch and her issues. Sink or swim, Kim. Or hop on the next magic carpet ride to Honalee.
  14. You can sit by me in the first class section on that trip to hell in my handbasket, poetic. Thanks for this, avaleigh. I had forgotten all about her self-righteous indignation about her behavior on that trip and the ensuing rant about her sobriety. Interesting especially when contrasted with her attitude about her sobriety (or lack thereof) this season.
  15. I believe you can call BINGO with that post. We're only seeing minimal footage from this (and every season). Who knows how many actual real-life hours these women spent in Kim's company when she was whacked out on "a pain pill" (snort) and what else might have been going on. Sure, maybe nothing more than we're seeing. But there's always that season 1 production blog where they spill the tea about how much of Kim's bullshit they chose to leave on the cutting room floor and it sounded like there was a whopping amount of footage the viewers didn't see. Laws of average, I'm guessing (besides from the admittedly relatively short poker night gathering) there could be a lot more lost footage we won't be seeing any Bravo "lost footage" episode after the reunion. Bitch that I am, I no longer give a rat's ass about Kim, her life, her sobriety or anything else she brings to this show. She's apparently hell bent on destruction and, hey, that's entirely her prerogative, but she needs to stop signing up for this show and inviting viewers to watch it go down. And then chastising anyone who dares to comment on her captured-on-film shenanigans. FULL DISCLOSURE: If she goes into full blown "I'm ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille" mode or breaks out into her own rendition of "I've Written a Letter to Daddy," I'll be tuning in.
  16. And when she ran into Ken and Lisa as she was departing some event and rambled on incoherently about something whilst Ken and Lisa just stood there nodding and looking all sorts of perplexed. I don't think I could count on my fingers and toes how many times Kim has seemed high on something on this show, and not just the obvious such as when she was crawling all around on that hotel bathroom floor looking for something which Ken then advised her to not put into her purse.
  17. But, did she say that she turned to Brandi during those legions of phone calls because Kyle refused to take the calls? I honestly can't remember Kim ever saying turned her away during those calls and was more of the impression that she called Brandi because Brandi's hard-partying ass is probably awake at 2 am where Kyle is sleeping at that hour.
  18. Conversely, something from which Brandi is attempting to extricate herself for various reasons. As simply a co-worker and friend of 6 months' duration, this will be relatively simple for Brandi to do. However, it is something Kyle will never be able to completely carry out due to their dysfunctional Sisterhood of the Traveling Rants. I don't blame Brandi for wanting to extricate herself from the situation, although I give the side eye to her possibly nefarious motivation for placing herself in this position to begin with. Maybe she realized trying to crawl into the collective Hilton assholes wasn't worth the exhaustion of dealing with the hot mess known as Kim Richards.
  19. I'm assuming the fact that Kim is continuing to blog is an indicator that she might very well be at the reunion. Her and Brandi against the world, seated on the Bravo Couch of Shame together. Should be all sorts of..."interesting."
  20. I see nothing wrong with her having a social glass of wine. To compare Lisa Rinna (or any of the other housewives) having a glass of wine to Brandi's self-admitted out-of-control drinking is the epitome of apples and oranges. Harry obviously had a real concern in that 2 of his siblings struggled with addictions. He reacted as he should have if he felt he could have a potential problem down the road. When Lisa R starts showing her tampon string whilst being held up so she can stumble to her car or has drunk to such a degree that her face is in danger of meeting her dinner plate as Brandi's was in Palm Springs, then I'll agree that she should lead by example.
  21. Oh good gawd, not me. That would just be her guaranteed return ticket back onto the show next season. I hope they all continue to treat her like the pariah she is so that Bravo cuts her loose. (ETA: And that she takes the Queen of Denial Kim with her on her way out)
  22. Hot damn, sometimes even this here blind acorn finds a nut. This is from way back when she was on Hello Larry and claiming to have a photographic memory. It's an insanely old actual newspaper clipping. I love stumbling on really old crap like this! http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=932&dat=19791123&id=A7RPAAAAIBAJ&sjid=9VIDAAAAIBAJ&pg=3482,5659801 That's from an article about Kim dated 11/23/1979. I think maybe it was discussed in the HH book as well. Anyway, stumbling across that old article was like a huge blast from the past!
  23. I wouldn't be surprised, quite frankly. I remember her gleeful dropping of the Ken bomb on Kyle. I think both the Richards sisters thrive on drama but Kim to a much, much greater degree, probably because she has no stabilizing factors in her life as Kyle does. JMO, of course, which could be biased because I find Kim to be one nasty piece of work, sober or not.
  24. Did you catch WWHL a couple of weeks ago when Kristen was on it? Whenever she answered a question incorrectly, she had to sit through a clip of Tom and Ariana doing that lovey dovey shit. It was hilarious.
