  1. But it might not be tacky. We have zero idea. Maybe Jill asked her to send over some of her wine. The one thing I am fairly sure of is that Jill loved it. Loved that Bethenny sent her over something, and loved that she could tell the world that Bethenny sent something over. I wouldn't be surprised if she told folks that walked into her pad to mourn that Bethenny had sent over some of her wine. Jill has been looking for any small nugget of recognition from Bethenny for a very long time. She got it and I will bet it made her smile and made things a bit easier. Word on the street is that Bobby wanted them to reconcile. This is at least a step forward. And the truth is that Bethenny cannot win for the most part. As someone else mentioned, if she had sent over a different brand of wine there would be snickers that she probably didn't think hers good enough in the end to impress a large group of fairly well-off mourners. Imagine if she had sent a deli tray that didn't include her own products? What, she doesn't think her stuff up to par with what those people would have been looking for? If memory serves, she was criticized left and right for trying to help victims of hurricanes. Because she will always do something that isn't quite 100% right. As if anyone does anything that is always 100% right, and it isn't just a nice thing when someone tries to do something nice.
  2. Yes. I have been trying to figure out what it is about her interviews that is so distracting to me. It is the way she moves her hands. She has a lovely body, and I think she is really pretty, but something about the way she moves her hands and her shoulders distracts me tremendously.
  3. She cannot. She did a thing that didn't seem to offend anyone involved. They seemed more than happy, as the matter of fact. Still, she is wrong in some manner. We have zero idea how it all came about. Perhaps she asked Jill what she could use and Jill said "maybe some wine for the folks that stop by. I don't keep any". Maybe Bobby liked Bethenny's wine. One thing I can promise you is that a person who has her own wine is not going to send a different brand. Just like the folks at Newman's Own Pasta Sauce would not send Ragu for a donation or anything else. Imagine Heather giving clothing donations for some group and not giving Yummy stuff, but sending something from the new Hanes underwear line or some Levi's. Would. Not. Happen.
  4. It sounds as if the judge and prosecutors felt like he was hiding assets in the US. I found this: "Judge James Peck said Kemsley was a "bankrupt who does not live like one [with] ready access to abundant free cash". According to The Times, Judge James Justice said he had lived in luxury since moving to the US - including a palatial New York apartment costing $15,000 a week to rent, and properties in Beverly Hills, Boc Raton and Hollywood." And this: "He was separated from his ex-wife at the time, but papers revealed he had a New-York based girlfriend — possibly Dorit, 40. “My estranged wife currently pays for all this as I have no income,” he declared on his monthly expenses sheet totaling $34,000. He first had difficulty paying his debts in “2008 following the collapse of the Rock Group.” “The property crash led to the failure of my property development group, ‘Rock,’” he wrote in the docs. “Following this collapse, the income I have been able to generate has not been sufficient to service and repay my creditors. I have existed largely by borrowing from friends and family.” Yet, he listed that he was the Vice President of Planet Hollywood, raking in $7,800 per month and was listed in three other suits pertaining to finances at the time." I hadn't heard that he was involved with Planet Hollywood before this. Isn't that where LVP had that party way back when? When she decided to use a different hotel from the one that Adrienne owned at the time (The Palms) because she had a good friend who offered to comp her stay at Planet Hollywood? I guess that must have been PK. I think the bottom line is that it all sounds rather hinky. Claiming to be bankrupt, running from his creditors in the UK, all the while living a life of luxury here in the US. And then there is the fact that it is hard to ascertain where all of this money is coming from. What does he actually do and how did he get the financing to do it if he hadn't been hiding assets? They throw around a lot of money, but where does it come from?
  5. One of the other shows is called "Glass Houses". It goes like this.... Glass Houses is a drama centered on Anisa Shattenkirk-Glass, who opens her own real estate firm that directly competes for the Beverly Hills luxury real estate clients of her former employer, who also happens to be her mother-in-law. Anisa’s mother-in-law, Dahlia dominates the high end market in town and Anisa is taking on the family matriarch while trying to drawn in her former clients and keep them happy. This is being marketed as being "loosely based" on Kyle's life, but of course it sounds exactly like what Mauricio went through when he went out on his own. If I had to guess, I would say some members of Kyle's family are as upset about this show as they are the other one.
  6. Yes, and this. Others have been judged harshly for far less.
  7. Well, he said he leered at it, so there is that. Although he didn't call it leering. He admitted he could not look away. Then he went on to talk about her basically being "available". That is more than enough for me to judge him.
  8. I don't have any experience with this, but is Dorit acting coked up? Is that how one acts? I was just wondering from those that have commented on it whether it is an obvious kind of thing, or if people are thinking it because of what Rinna said last season. Or better way to ask it: would people think she was on coke if Rinna had never said anything?
  9. That's interesting. I guess it don't see it that way. I think the TH interviews are to give us the perspective of the HW's as to what happened. I know they don't see the footage, but they were at the event. They don't have to see the footage of Dorit acting like an asshole about a glass because they were there when it happened. So when a producer says "how funny was that deal with Dorit and the glass", they can comment on it regardless of whether or not they saw the footage yet. My guess is - should Dorit sing next week - and I have no idea if she does - that you would have a HW or two making a funny comment in their TH about it. Maybe saying something they wouldn't say directly to Dorit at the time. Maybe one or more will be nice to her to her face, but in their TH say something slightly nasty/funny/hurtful. Happens all the time, and they all do it.
  10. It's not unusual. I use to watch that show Hoarders. Had to stop because it was so awful. A lot of those people hoarded animals as well as possessions. It was heartbreaking to watch.
  11. Really?? True but I am not on a reality show. There are no cameras filming my initial interactions, or my thoughts afterwards. No one coming into my home with a camera crew, makeup, and a dude with a notebook full of questions I am supposed to answer about what has gone on around me. There is all of that for them. My understanding is that they are supposed to give their opinions about the drama in their TH interviews. In answering questions posed to them by production. I never understood how they are being two faced when we all understand the point of the interviews. Otherwise, why have them if not to get their opinions and thoughts about what is going on? We could just film them doing their thing and be done with it. But I think that most of us love the interviews just for that very purpose - to get the inside scoop on what they think/how they feel.
  12. She is good at it, but then they all are. For my money, this is what I want. I view the TH interviews as their confessional - telling us what they really think, while behaving in a more socially acceptable way in the moment. The way most of us do it. If I am at a party I say I really like the guacamole. Then on the way home when my husband and I dish on the party, I confess that I wished I could have gone into the fridge for some lime juice because the guac was not edible in the form in which it was presented. My understanding is that this is what the TH interviews are for and I love it when they just tell it like it is. Memories of last year when Erika had that party with little to no food. Everyone was gracious for the most part and behaved as if it were the normal. Then they all confessed to being starved half to death and needing to go through a drive-thru on the way home. I love that stuff.
  13. If Giggy were to be cloned, would the cloned version have the same skin condition? Seems like a risk to me, even if it only cost $1 vs $50,000.
  14. This is the relationship I think of when I think of Harry's past loves. It was so remarkable at the time. We had had the stories of the older men with younger women, but this was different. And yes, they were both so gorgeous. Among all of the couples in the housewives universe, Lisa and Harry are the only ones (that I can think of, someone correct me if I am wrong) that have both been in the public eye for over 20 years. True, to varying degrees, but they have been out there and visible for a long time. The fact that they have remained married in Hollywood, seemingly happy and without scandal, is a minor miracle. Add to that the fact that they seem to really love each other and it is more impressive. Have we seen more of their house than the kitchen/dining area and the outdoor space? I love the outdoor space, but the kitchen makes me nuts. On the one hand I like that it looks really lived in, but all of that clutter on the countertops would make me crazy. There isn't an empty space anywhere.
  15. I agree. Didn't Bryn ask her mommy to put on her PJ's? Bryn probably loved it. I highly doubt that Bethenny had any idea that she was apparently body shaming by trying to have a light moment with her child.
  16. All I can say is, good for all of the women. I thought they would rally around Luann in the end. They will snark here and there, probably in their TH interviews, but at the end of the day they will be supportive. This is just what makes this group of gals different than many on other shows. Many of them have real issues with the others. Issues that have a history and go back years. But when the going gets tough, they usually try to do the right thing.
  17. You're such a fucking liar Dorit. Don't try to sell that you only bitched about the glass to the waiter, and didn't mention it to Teddi. Is she crazy? Is she high? And the way she was speaking to Kyle? Be careful, Dorit. Kyle has been nothing but nice and supportive of you. And much of the time, you didn't deserve it.
  18. Oh Dorit. You can dress her up, put her in a wig, but you cannot take her anywhere. I get that different beverages belong in different glasses. But her job as a guest is to make the hostess feel at ease. To make the hostess feel like she has just put together a rocking event that is loved and appreciated by the guests. We get that she only likes for her people to touch her skin. We saw her meltdown when LVP had others at the magazine event to do her makeup. But as others have said, there are other treatments that she could have had, and done so graciously. And there are just no words for her deal with the glasses. You finish your beverage, go up to the bartender and quietly ask for your next beverage in the glass of your preference. You do it in a way that doesn't make the hostess feel like you are finding the slightest fault in anything. Just like you don't make a nervous hostess feel even worse by asking for fans and bitching about the heat when the electricity goes out at a dinner party. You get that such an occurrence would have even the most accomplished hostess on edge and nervous, and do your best to put them at east. You just cope with it all. I hate people that seem to delight in making others feel badly about things, without having the ability to put themselves in the other persons shoes. Just like she didn't remember last season saying anything about Eileen or her mother passing at her dinner party. A fairly big conversation, and she just didn't remember taking part in it.
  19. This is one thing that Rinna is not making up. Actually, I don’t think she plays it up to the extent that she could. Back in the day, HH was a very big deal indeed.
  20. I don’t think it matters if she is getting paid by anyone on she show. It also doesn’t matter if they like it or not (they won’t and neither wil I). Point is this is what she does in real life. It’s the thing that interests her, so she might not be as quiet as another person would when faced with a total shit show. She might be more vocal about the dysfunction and tendency among all of these girls to attempt to blame shift and play dumb. Which I am not saying is a good thing or anything that I will enjoy. Just that one would probably expect as much from someone who is focused on holding people accountable. Thanks for posting that. I keep meaning to because really it is an incredibly important part of the whole deal.
  21. Yep. The gal actually gets paid to hold people accountable. She is going to want to do the same to these women. And if there is one thing they don’t like, it is being held accountable. For anything.
  22. The great thing about the whole “Dorit is late bit” is that we got the clock for Teddi’s side of the story. She would not have known they were going to do that. Dorit didn’t know they were going to do that either. It’s such a great way of very casually fucking Dorit without really trying. Who cares if it was 48 minutes or an hour? The driver said they were still 20 minutes away, so it would have been more than an hour. Dorit was caught, looked incredibly thoughtless and rude, and will want to deny she did anything wrong. Because that is just what she does.
  23. People that you know are late for beef tenderloin? Fuckers. It doesn't get any better than someone making you a beef tenderloin.
