  1. I've said it before: he physically reminds me of King Koopa/Bowser.
  2. If it was the bit where he doubles over the chair/table, that was just his exasperated reaction to Becky starting up again when he told them that it was none of their business. He did stumble a little right after when he was turning around in a circle to talk again, but it wasn't something that would have stood out much even taped.
  3. I'm confused by Jade's grandfather. He looks younger than her mom. Hell, he looks younger than all of the parents of the cast.
  4. If anyone is curious about the details, you can get them here. Jack really is a wanker. I never found him (nor Travis) charming.
  5. Didn't Colin literally say that he didn't have a passion for yachting earlier in the season? Sandy's reaction was to pretty much beg him to stay despite it. Now she's basically telling Hannah she should do something else because she thinks this isn't Hannah's passion. Hmmm. I would be incredibly uncomfortable if my boss, especially if it's one who I have an uneasy relationship with, asks me for a 'Big hug!' after scolding me. You don't need to be grabbing me by my shoulders, you don't need to be kissing my cheek, you don't need to be touching me in any way.
  6. It was Evil Lives Here - the episode is titled "Black Widow." It was about Blanche Taylor Moore. (Hope you feel better soon!)
  7. Yes, they build sculptures to sink and turn into dive sites. The one that they saw was Simon Morris's Amphitrite, a 600-pound bronze sculpture.
  8. The show posted on Facebook that it was a special 3-week premiere and that the rest of the new episodes will start airing in November.
  9. Fatima wrote another essay for Bon Appetit magazine that is in their upcoming by March issue - they decided to publish it early online: link.
  10. This is horribly sad. She seemed very sweet and funny and her food was the one that made me drool the most during that season. The quote that I best remember is that whole exchange with Bruce.
  11. Pakistani media/Twitter is saying that Chef Fatima Ali passed away from cancer today. She was 29, freakin' heartbreaking.
  12. Was Junior's leather jacket and sitting backwards in a chair thing supposed to be a homage to Michelle Pfeiffer in Dangerous Minds? Because heh.
  13. I thought Becky meant that Darlene had slept with only two guys before sleeping with Ben - like, of course you're not experienced with how this newly sexual relationship should go, you've only been with two guys before it. I've already deleted it from the DVR so I can't double-check, but I remember thinking that's how it was meant because it struck me as weird until I understood.
  14. Funniest moment for me was the reactions of Darlene, Jackie, and Geena to Mark manipulating Dan into giving permission for the chicken coop. They all looked so impressed as they clapped/snapped their fingers.
  15. Is it that shot in the blue shirt, where he's talking to the rest of the crew? Because that was what he was wearing at the end of this episode. Tips are given out equally, but Kate gets the bigger salary as the Chief Stew (completely separate from Bravo - just her yachty salary) and a larger amount of money from Bravo since she's been on the show since almost the very beginning.
  16. Pops is the best. I loved him yanking that tiki torch out of the white guy's hand and telling him that "this is over for you people." Jack thinking that the gift of teeth Diane got him was cool ("They're still warm!") shows that she's not the only twisted twin.
  17. I think Chandler is gone (and not just demoted) because of two things in the previews - what he says when you see him combined with Ashton being so happy that he had to follow Kate's orders really endeared him to me. That and whistling while washing the dishes. I don't know what the hell Caroline was rambling about when he said that the laundry he was folding looked like it needed to be ironed - I mean, I understood what she was actually saying but I didn't understand how it was in any way a response to what Ashton was saying.
  18. I think that was in his past, not this year. He posted a message on Instagram after the suicides of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade in June which talked about how he has been there but managed to find a way out with a lot of help. Going by his other Instagram posts, those deaths happened around the same time they were filming this and perhaps that combined with remembering the recent deaths of his two friends (Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington) led him to be more sober than usual. He seems to keep himself busy, so that's good.
  19. Diane gave my two favorite lines, the purple one and the way she said "This feels right to you?" to Pops when he showed her the photo of naked Prince with flowers.
  20. This is cute! Captain Lee angrily answering Kate's meal question with "I'm going to eat somebody's ass for dinner," and her "Ooohhh" response made me giggle. ETA: Heh.
  21. I cackled when Jackie explained why she went to church: "I take my mother to services every Sunday just to remind God she's still here in case He forgot to take her."
  22. Yeah, my favorite part of the whole episode was Cleen and Christian complaining to each other about their own team members - I think Christian's guy started tattooing immediately with no feedback and Cleen's chose to do a style in which he wasn't completely comfortable. C & C sounded like parents complaining about their kids. As the episodes go on, you see the coaches ease up more on that ENEMIES! GRUDGE! thing.
  23. What. Last year, my cousin wanted everyone in her family to be in costume to take the toddler trick-or-treating, so her husband dug up an old Metallica shirt and said he was going as a Metallica fan. That is what Geena's costume reminded me of. Favorite moment of the episode was Dan telling the neighbors that he and Roseanne had discussed not vandalizing their house the previous year but decided to go ahead and do it so the neighbors wouldn't feel discriminated against since they did it to every other house.
  24. Dre mentioned the dog last week - I think he wanted to take it with him when talking to the neighbor about their loud parties, but I'm not 100% sure about it. He definitely mentioned the dog though.
