Keto must give a person clarity. I like that Tommy gave Vic a pillow to muffle the sound but Colin already fired a shot earlier. Someone must have heard it in the building and called the police. With Vic using a pillow, (at that close range) wouldn't the bullet go through the floor to the neighbors downstairs?

I believe she has been in Chicago for years. Julio gave her money to leave NYC shortly after she left the hospital. She was sitting on the coke for a few weeks. She claimed she killed the guy that owned it. But someone will be coming to look for it. She should have moved immediately to a new place after events happened. Seems Tommy was hell bent to work only with CBI and The Flynns. Liliana claimed she had a person who can move it and Tommy never gave it a thought. Last episode, Tommy met the lady at the auto shop and could have dealt with her. I guess he wants to go straight to the top in Chicago. Seems like it. Hope he gets a sweet death! I should have added DEA to the possibility of which agency was taking pictures. Yes. They were careless being easily seen by Tommy. Tommy was on the Most Wanted list before he faked his death. Even if the Flynns are the main target, if Tommy's name comes up, they have to go after him. Yup. And we know Tommy's history with women. It never ends well.
-
What is with the Flynns chasing/pulling over Tommy on busy streets disrupting traffic? I'd be furiously honking my horn if I was driving behind them. Liliana doesn't "do it" for Tommy?! What is wrong with this man? With 10 bricks in the house for weeks, what was her plan to do with it before Tommy arrived? It was buried and she was watching TV when he kicked her door down. Now in a blink of an eye, Tommy has a plan, it's cut, and they are trying to move it. Liliana talks big about making money but comes off as a slacker. 50/50? Liliana is crazy to think Tommy needs her now. He has all the drugs and after she cut it. She doesn't have a connection to get more. When did Pink sneaker girl have time to put a non-straight scar on Liliana? It was a quick slash in the elevator. When did Zorro arrive in the Power Universe? Must be a slow day at the police station. Chicago is supposedly a busy city with crime and the police staion has an empty line of no one to pay bail for people arrested? Vic just strolls in and out without a long wait. The black cop's last name is Bennigan and puppet for the Flynns. Interesting. When did Jenard come up with the master plan to trick Diamond into winning top seat? It's not going to end well for Jenard. This petty fool has to remind Diamond every damn time he gets: he is a grown ass man, times has changed and he made CBI what it is today. If Diamond calmly ask him to pass the ketchup, you know Jenard will tell him "I am the man" and throw it at him. JP and his father were out of grandma's life for a while and don't know who put her in the home and guessed who is paying? JP comes off as a man with morals and values. Soon this show will have him corrupted. No one who starts innocent is safe in this universe. Tommy said Illinois with an "s". Hasta lue.... "go". Tommy really thought he couldn't have prevented Ghost from being killed. Well someone or something prevented him from the many times he tried to kill Ghost. Prison must have made Diamond forget baseball's unwritten rule: if a pitcher throws at your head, charge the mound and fight. Nice to see the show not have the stereotype of Jenard/Diamond talk while playing basketball and have it with baseball. Could Tommy have been any louder telling the people in the gym there's a meeting with Diamond and Walter Flynn? No wonder the FBI was outside. Shouldn't Diamond or Walter have informed Tommy there is bad history with CBI and the Flynns? Made Tommy looked stupid at the meeting. Why Walter bother agree to the meeting if he knew the Italians, Polish and Greeks would frown on him? Seems he was always going to say "no". What is Vic not doing for Gloria that strained their marriage? She tells him to "start standing up for her" but he is buying a new tombstone and is always around visiting her. What more is she demanding from him? Didn't we see last episode, Tommy delivering Rojas' drugs to other organizations. He could have tried to make deals with them (except the drug house) before he called Diamond and the Flynns. The Colin scene was odd. I don't think Tommy and Vic went there with intentions to kill him. It showed Vic couldn't de-escalate the situation, not able to talk his way into making a deal, easily sensitive with Colin's insult and resorted to killing Colin. And after all that time, the girl didn't die from an overdose. Colin was right: she is a light weight. Now the FBI (I don't think they were local police) has pictures of Tommy to know he's alive. Tommy's picture should be in their database. He should be arrested next week, if the agents takes time to stop eating and smoking. If the FBI spends time trying to figure out who Tommy is, I might throw my remote at the TV. Did Walter really need to send Claudia to send a message to the Alderman? She never used anything seductive on him. Walter, Paulie or (maybe)Vic could have delivered the message showing his daughter just as well. Liliana asked Tommy why is he so paranoid asking about who owns the drugs. She is just as paranoid thinking Tommy is in town to kill her. Flynn killed 9 of Diamond's men and there was no retaliation!? I thought Diamond was supposed to be ruthless back in the day?! According to Jenard: the old Diamand would have popped Tommy. Thank goodness the episode didn't end with a jealous Vic staring from the outside at Tommy and Gloria going at it. "Were the fucking Flynns!" Could the actor put more emotion in that delivery?
-
I remember this show in the 80s but never seen all of the episodes and I'm catching up now. Love the original theme song. The rest after that is meh. S5 E17 "Shoot to Kill". Hunter breaking the 4th wall about possibly getting with Dee Dee caught me by surprised. It was awesome.
-
Diamond wants back in but he wants it his way 15 years ago. Times has changed since then, Diamond doesn't like his brother made the decision to deal with the Yardies (they make bad drugs), Tommy made Jenard look foolish at the drug deal, Jenard brought in the 2 young killers (who will not take orders from Diamond and are bad for business) and Jenard is his younger brother (probably stings he's making money while he's broke just getting out of prison). Now that Tommy has moved in closer to Diamond, it will probably strain Jenard and Diamond more, as Diamond and Tommy has a similar way of thinking.
-
I was surprised they were never mentioned this season. Were they already off the show when Dexter was raising him? If so, at least Dexter should mention them in the letter. With Harrison now, the siblings may be better not knowing him. I hope this is the end. I will not be interested to watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt lite try to carry a season. I would have loved to seen Dexter and Angel have a scene.
-
Ok. Thanks. Now I have to do a rewatch to refresh. I got a feeling Jenard won't have a long stay on this show. He was pissed when Diamond left with Tommy and was told him to stay in the barbershop. This was after he looked big with the 3 underlings under control when they didn't take orders from Diamond. I can see him doing something stupid to show up Diamond and get himself killed. I think the "spider" on the drugs Tommy found in Liliana's place is from the Jimenez cartel. But who is left from there to run operations?
-
I guess the key will be the jealous ex of Gloria to be Tommy's entrance in to the family and eventual take over. The father is dying of something and the kids will be Tommy's only obstacle. I think Jason's people was in California. Maybe filming in California is problem and they decided to move his story to Chicago instead. IDK. Also, I think he was in the barbershop holding a gun to Tommy. He was one of the two outside.
-
I wouldn't either. Maybe he's hoping Tommy insisted and gave more money if he he kept refusing. Man is too proud to beg. Price to get the bullets out and replacement windows are high these days.

She is Liliana from Season One Power. She was Ghost's drug courier and only on for the first two episodes. She got sliced on the face in an elevator from Kanan's hired hitters, taken to the hospital, Tommy discussed killing her for possibly talking to the cops about the attack/her job with Ghost but Ghosts decided for Julio to give her money and stop working for him because she was loyal/her scar is recognizable. We haven't seen her since until now. Now she hears "white boy", "blue car" and immediately believes Tommy is in town to kill her after all these years??!! LOL. I give her credit for being proactive trying to kill Tommy. But poor girl is outmatched. I hope the actress stays. I liked her on Blindspot. I'm impressed how drugs and money easily finds Tommy. Has anyone asked Tommy his name? I don't think he has told anyone. JP knows his name but I don't think he has said "Tommy" yet. I wonder what alias Tommy has on his driver's license and registration. With all the high tech now, I wonder why police don't have the ability to run facial recognition on driver's license during stops. Not sure why JP called Tommy first if he didn't want his money and Tommy sure wasn't going to help sweep up glass. His first call should have been to the police. Also, use the money to buy cameras. Funny when Tommy assumed he was dealing from there. JP didn't have money for protection for the bar this month, was hit and was previously hit two times this year. He must have hired some clowns that couldn't protect the other times. Going by the gun and silencer, I guess that was JP's son that shot up his bar (and maybe his mother was behind the wheel. Just kidding). JP didn't bother ask his father or grandma who was the little boy with his mother on the VHS tape? I am assuming JP knew that was his mother. The writing for this plotline! UGH! Rojas has all these people on the outside. I'm not sure why it was important for only Jenard and Diamond to move the drugs for him when time is of the essence or heads will roll with the cartel. Diamond put Rojas in a wheelchair and moving the drugs is the way to get even with him??!! Seems odd moving drugs is payback and not just shooting him to make up for whatever he did. I would have loved to seen how Tommy gotten those two in the trunk. I don't care about anyone in the Flynn family. Tommy will be running the Irish empire soon.
-
I had to look back. Tommy was driving his mother's BMW when he crashed and faked his death. So, now I'm not sure if this season is to fill in the gap when he left town after Ghost was killed or after he left Tariq and Monet at the cemetary. Me too. I'll be FF this every week. Perfect timing from the show with his "supposed" retirement announcement last week. Crooked cop. Poor Diamond. He gets out of prison and seems he wants to start a new clean life. Not so fast. Already the odds are stacked against him. His brother wants him to get back in the game/kill, this crooked cop is going to cause trouble, the prisoner (Rojas) is going to send people after him and he still hasn't met Tommy yet (that's trouble X3 right there for him). I can understand this scenario. But if they are all tight as a family, I need a good reason why father and grandma couldn't tell him the truth. The way Zeke's backstory was handled; I don't trust these writers to come up with a satisfying explanation for Kate.
-
Jenny is trying but she needs a win badly. She failed against Tasha last season and now with Tariq.
-
I understand now. Would be funny if Brayden just admitted to many crimes and just skipped out off the court room, waving bye to Sullivan. I thought that too about Cane and Monet. Why not just sit in the SUV to talk and exchange. Unless the actor has another job, I feel he'll be back. He has unfinished business with Tariq about Lauren. I would be surprised if he's a student at Stanfield again. That's some serious favors. Does Yasmine loose her inheritance with this new arrangement?
-
I thought the immunity was only for Ramirez' murder. Anything else, they can go after. Even the judge was trying to tell him "STFU!" Just answer the questions you are being asked. I had to look back, the cop who said it was "grainy" was NYPD. They have Tariq's mugshot. She's not good at her job. Also from the car conversation, what did Cane say that made Tariq quickly believe he didn't have anything to do with Lauren's death? If I'm Tamekia, I'm telling Tariq: "I will be changing my name too. Don't try to call me ever again". Yes. Diana will run into the pilot at the supermarket checkout line, she will mention Zeke and he will say he saw a baldheaded dude running from the scene. Diana will piece it all together (remembering Lorenzo left the house) before paying. Or Whitman will have traffic cam of Lorenzo driving away. Also, Lorenzo put his fingerprints on the Zeke's car door when he opened it seeing if anyone was in there. I thought they were in the BUSH league?! It looked the same or they just moved down the street.
-
This episode was atrocious! The writing and plot was so bad! The way grandma Egan looked in the chair was my look watching this train wreck! Why drop the season finale of Book II and this on the same day? If Tommy is supposed to dead. Is he going to change his name? Or does this show not give a fuck! So Kate had baby and left him with the father in Chicago? Huh! Grandma Egan knew and played along that Kate is dead to the other grandson. Why is the father still close with Kate's mother? With this show, Tommy is probably older and conveniently forgot as child Kate was pregnant in Chicago. Where was Teressey (sp) at that time? Not sure why Tommy got involved with the two when he was asked to move his car. Why was he outside to begin with and why did they need his car to be moved? He was supposedly waiting at that spot to go in the bar and get the "pepper pot soup" (whatever) from the kitchen (that was closed earlier?) but somehow smelled it so the kitchen was open as someone was cooking. Did the bartender lie about the kitchen time? You can't be a respected gangster when the bartender is clowning you! Is Tommy supposed to be "the Punisher" now? He beats the guy and breaks his arm. And for what reason he takes his phone, goes to shoot at Vic, then goes with him to meet the connect where he kills two incompetent dealers and steal their money. Why was he there to begin with? The club scene is something I wish I can forget! It was so bad! At the end, Tommy is in a badly chroegraphed, synchronized car chase and should have been shot on the street. No! These fools need to bring him to the hippie looking Kingpin's mansion. Who thanks him and praises him for whatever reason and tells him to leave town after telling him a philosophical quote he just memorized of the internet. While the princess (who Tommy will bang) observes from the top. The guy that got out jail might be the only character I could be interested in watching. The rest are trash. Dumbest line. Tommy: "When I see the Pacific Coast, you will know I'm here!"

At Mecca's apartment, what prevented Monet from shooting Tariq to show the police it was Mecca and Tariq shooting each other? It would have been a perfect setup. The kid has incredible plot armor. See ya Mecca! If only you could have sensed Nae Nae was never in love with you at any time this season....... your dumbass could be alive and thriving today! With a gun to his head he still thought they were perfect for each other. Good riddance you fool! So the doorman or any building worker didn't tell the police Monet was in the apartment too or see her and Tariq walk out? Such a terrible building to have bad security that anyone can scrub the video or don't have any backup! They must charge enormous rent to just provide horrible service. Did Monet give the doorman a boatload of cash to keep quiet? Why did the lady cop say the photo was "grainy" when Tariq's face is easily seen and she can run a facial recognition? That cop should have had Tariq's name mentioned before showing Blanca the picture. Not sure why Mecca couldn't send one of his assassins to kill Lorenzo and not suggest Cane to Monet. They introduced a female assassin on his team a few episodes back, where was she in this episode? Talking to Monet, Cane wasn't sure to kill his father but once he heard Tariq did it, he gained the confidence "Tariq can do it, well shit! So can I". So Tariq waited until the very last moment to tell Cane he is not going to kill his father. Seems like something he should have told him in the car. Mecca is a federal informant and they let him get away with all this criminal activity? He called Blanca to say his cover was blown. Who was he snitching on? Maybe it was Monet. I doubt it was Lorenzo, as he was in jail when all this started. It wasn't Tariq. Who? I'll miss Zeke and his dumb facial expressions. He had some good ones this episode. Damn. Stanfield got some campus vigils to hold. Carrie's has to be postponed for now. For all of Lorenzo "street smarts", why wouldn't he make sure he got the right person. He just shoots the person in the back. At least, call out "Mecca" and see his face before shooting. Zeke is tall and Mecca is short. Lorenzo should know this. Rage got the best of him. Not sure how Monet will ever find out Lorenzo killed Zeke. Even Diana can't reveal this to her. I will blame Zeke's death on Diana. She was told to not look in the bag. Had she done so, she wouldn't have told Lorenzo and he would not have gone to the hanger. That's 3 on Diana. So Lauren is killed in a "car accident"? Someone else had to have helped Effie pull this off. If it was the same car Effie drove to the woods, how did she get back to the dorm? Was the car on auto drive to crash or did Lauren drive a car with no brakes, sped and crashed? Did the police conduct a thorough investigation and autopsy? Tariq will have to find out it was Effie who killed her after Brayden's guilty conscious gets to him. So maybe Diana will end up with Tariq. Isn't Tasha in Arizona? If so, Tariq flew a long way and got back to NYC in time to go with Cane. Was Tasha/Vanessa writing her memoir? Poor Marshal Smith (the last to know) wasn't informed Tamekia and Yaz were arriving and told Tasha to grab a bag and run, yet other Marshals knew the agenda. Some witness protection program they are running. Who does Tamekia work for? That agent moved quick when she told him to get the bags. Poor Yaz has to remember a new name, birth date and must tell anyone who ask she wants a "Cocker spaniel" instead of a brother and sister. Did Tamekia instruct her who is her favorite sports team, tv show and movie? Didn't Tamekia tell Tasha she has to move again immediately but later we see Vanessa and Olivia were sitting having dinner in the cabin. What time are the movers coming? Tariq is different from Ghost, he didn't write his mom a nasty note like the one he got in jail. I hope Tameika got paid well. Seems she did all this for free. If Tariq ends up being a lawyer. I just might laugh and cry. Brayden confessed to selling drugs on campus, why isn't the police up his ass? His punishment from his father is to leave school and sit in a cubicle at his father's company. That's showing him pops! Was Zeke planning on shooting or strangling Monet on the plane or agreeing to leave with them as a family? Thank goodness we didn't have to see Riley. So the big winner is Lorenzo. Mecca, Zeke, the BSK traitors are all out of his way and Monet is (somewhat) back. Surprised Saxe ended up in bed with Sullivan after all this. After the court loss and embarrassment, how does Sullivan still have a job? Once Saxe mentioned he is going to help Sullivan and see justice is served, he just booked his reservation with "death" next season. After telling Sullivan all the people who have fallen, does he believe he is exempt from being a casualty of Tariq St. Patrick? Davis was funny in court. He was trying to contain his happiness when he found Sullivan's case was falling apart. How did Tariq get his dress sock under his ankle monitor? So Everret had to get a new student ID. Dru didn't even bother return the one he stole. Campus security asked Everret why he went to a "restricted" location on campus. Wouldn't this "restricted" place have cameras to see all the students go there to retrieve their drugs, Tariq and Brayden showing up to supply the drugs to question why they are there or see non-students Dru and Diana walk in to steal the drugs. I swear Stanfield is the worse! Kamaal got fired from the police because of Rasahd and is still willing to work for him. Not too long ago he was honored for making detective. He should have said "FU" and stepped-up a on a stool to knock him out. Not sure I'm looking forward to his spinoff. On Youtube, I was listening to Courtney Kemp say she had to delete the scene of how Tariq found out about the picture of Sweeney in Balck face. There is a Weston's maid who told Tariq about it in the yearbook. I think that would have been important to keep in the show for continuity.
-
I shake my head every time when there's an escape by helicopter and the authorities can't bother send one of their own to give chase or if El Pincho escapes in a red car, there's no need to chase him now (we still have 30 minutes left in the show). Instead, we'll spend most of the night interrogating the DEA agent on where he's going. Poor lady has terrible neighbors to have her husband killed outside, gun shots inside her home and no one bother called the police. Jess must have been staring at the woman's lactating boob, knew this avenue is not for him and telepathically told Barnes "See what I see? I'll leave, and you work on her". US Marshal Tara must not be respected/liked on her team where she knows she won't be missed, can just leave and not tell her supervisor. At least Kristin mentioned to Jess she was going (didn't say where or with who, but at least "Bye"). Weird Kristin just meets this woman and decides to go with her, have a car ride with psyche analysis and now they are best friends. I get a sense; we'll be seeing Tara again. She got a lot of screentime, I was fearing Wolf was introducing her for another spinoff. No arrest. The main nun has her "It was ALL Luis. He forced us........." excuse and tears ready to go when the agents bring her in for questioning.
-
I agree. The writing for Carrie and the staff of Stansfield were handled poorly from the start. The other options to speak were the dean (who was about to fire her), Simon (I think they may have had one scene last season) and the rest of the students from class (and most insulted her on the zoom call). Also, obviously couldn't call Zeke or Whitman. We never knew if she had any family members.
-
Ghost sure did. They had his picture up and candles lit quick. Maybe Stansfield only honors and have vigils for people who died by gun shot. I guess Carrie's vigil was by zoom (It's what Carrie would have wanted) and they left an open space for her eavesdropping from the heavens. At least, the judge made sure to note her sexual liberation was in good standing in his court room. If the judge had to say that, what was the purpose of having Tate come in to testify for Carrie's character? He could have told Sullivan and Davis he is not needed. Yes. You can't see him or he won't lend his voice. You might get a picture of him to show for the right price. He is an informant for the government. I just wondered why the NYPD can't find this out when everyone else is figuring out easily. I agree. Use his killing of Ghost to counter Tariq, then strangle his ass. Dante's IQ is on a steady decline each week. Yes. Effie did it to protect Tariq from her snitching. I wonder if the thought of killing Brayden crossed her mind because of the chance he can talk too. Dumb scene. I think the gun was empty. Didn't Cane say he gave him a gun with no bullets when he tried to shoot the store owner they robbed a few episodes back? I just took the scene of the show just trying to be over dramatical to the audience with his dilemma to shoot or not. I guess he was originally planning to scare Lauren and give her cash at her home until Tariq called. But if Tariq's plan was to get her out of town, why not just go straight to the bus station, give her the cash there, tell her to never call NYC again and watch her get on the bus. Nope! He was going to take her to the woods give her a bag of cash and have her walk a mile to bus station in the dark. What??? Brayden messed up big. Couldn't tell he was being tailed by Effie and she took his money for extra insult. If I'm Lauren's parents the first person I am going after is Tariq (just by his reputation alone) but a good cop's investigation can lead to Brayden was in the neighborhood by camera at the time of her disappearance and go after him. It seems quick slice of throat by knife is the preferred choice this season. I didn't mean to! LOL I would like that. But his plot armor is so thick, the bullet will ricochet off his ass, go through the TV and hit one of us. Waste of time. Any excuse to get their shirts off is the show's only agenda. Speaking of phones. Is it that easy to take a picture of Tariq from Diana's phone to unlock his phone? Next time choose fingerprint or pattern Tariq (should be smarter than this)! And no alert to Tariq and Brayden that the storages on the roof have been opened (even if it's done by one of them)?! Diana should have sent Tariq for some free food too. I wonder what her plan B would be if Tariq had water in the room?!
-
Everyone is convinced Carrie's death was by suicide. Monet did a good job hiding her tracks or the show just doesn't have enough time left in the season to make a story about it. I see no one on campus was holding a vigil for her or a mention of one the way they did for Jabari. Carrie who? Good grief! Now Tariq has special powers to predict in his dreams: he will enter a classroom while Tate is writing on the board and foresee Lauren will be dead. Also, the "gift" gave him the opportunity to decide if his outfit should be changed. Yes Tariq. Have you checked on Ellisa Marie? Is Omari not willing to make an appearance on this show? Zeke! You are 23 years old, get rid of saying "Freaky Zekey" on your voice mail greeting. Even at 19, it's a bad look! If Sullivan had pictures of Brayden with Ramirez and recording of Brayden and Cane, why didn't she play this card much earlier? She had to know Brayden is Tariq's roommate and Ramirez's badge could have been tied to him too. Who is this witness to Jabari's murder? If this person is constantly calling Kamaal and he is ignoring her, call Sullivan, Whitman or another cop. Could the Weston's have embarrased themselves any more in front of Jenny? I was waiting for Brayden to slap Trace to stop talking or for just wearing his cap backwards looking stupid at the table. Look at Papa Weston hiring a non-white to be his lawyer. He will make sure to say she is a "close dear friend" when the picture of Sweeney and him is revealed. Rashad couldn't find a better place than a bathroom to secretly meet Tariq and to not sit there and smell others? The lengths this man goes through for salacious material. Monet finding out Dante is Mecca was anti climatic! When did Cane take a picture of him that was available to send to Monet? I guess when they were out getting ice cream, Cane took a picture. Mecca tells Cane he couldn't leave the apartment but Cane was seen out meeting Effie and Brayden. Newly promoted and can't take orders. Good choice Mecca! At any time did Everett not notice his access card missing? Geez. Anyone can walk onto Stansfield's campus and into dorms. Why even bother have Dru steal an access card. Rashad suspiciously "happy" dropping his brother's name in the court, leads to Davis conveniently asking the question about Kamaal, that leads to the mystery woman calling Kamaal was comical no one questioned it. Was Zeke asked to show ID for the beer? I doubt he changed the DOB on it that fast. So who passed the information to Bleacher Report about Zeke's real age? Was it Diana or person who gave Diana information? Maybe Lorenzo? The opportunity has passed, I am not expecting this show to come up with a reason from Monet now why Zeke was lied to about his age. It will be forgotten. Why is Zeke always having press conferences? Someone should know by now to never ever put him in front of a microphone. Just send out press releases. BTW "Nice" outfit worn by Zeke. I would guess Sacramento has the first pick in the draft and told Zeke they will pick him?! I have a hard time believing Zeke is the best player this year. He looks more like a second round pick or undrafted free agent. Davis must have friends in high places (the writers) to have all the classified information on Dante. Now Dante knows Tariq killed Ghost?! Ok. By a quick Google search? Will someone tell the "always last to know" NYPD! So Dante has trackers on the drugs and the bag, why bother reveal to Cane he knew he stole the drugs (if he was planning to play him) and point a gun at him if he could just go to the phone to track its whereabouts? Dante's intelligence has been declining from each episode. Of course the ruthless, ready to cut throat Dante is getting shaken down for $2 million from "plot armor thick" Tariq. Please help me! Was that revelation about Lobos supposed to be an "Oh! $hit!" moment? I can't tell if Effie and Diana really likes Tariq or just playing him. Every week they flip. Did Lauren not see "Adrianna on the Sopranos" to know to not get in the car with Brayden?! Where was her parents in all this to not let her step out the house? She should have been immediately yanked out of school from the last episode. Once she told Tariq about Brayden and Cane, she should have known something was up. She is so naive. We didn't see a body, so I can't say Lauren is dead yet. Not sure if Effie was acting that way for killing her or just regretting she let her go to the train/bus station. That was the worst drive by ever. The poor dumpster didn't have a chance. Nice to see Zeke clutching his basketball tightly. He should have thrown it at the SUV and hit a shooter if his jump shot, passing skills and aim are so elite. I assume Lorenzo hired them. He probably paid them all up front and they didn't get the job done. No refunds fool! Who were the bullets meant for? Monet or Lorenzo or all three? I am leaning to Monet is playing Dante or maybe she is trying to get rid of both baby daddys at one time. Did Tariq forget it was Yaz's birthday and not bring a gift or did the foster parents make up a new day for her per Ghost's instructions? Will the foster parents change Yaz's age like what happened to Zeke? Yaz wanted say "thanks but it's not for a few more months. But delicious cake is cake to not pass up!". I like the lawyer yelling at Tariq to not leave the car but couldn't bother get his lazy ass out and tackle him to the ground or instruct the driver to stop him. I guess stopping Tariq wasn't in Ghost's instructions.
-
I would love to see pictures of Zeke's first day as a freshman in high school with a beard. I want to meet Monet's sister that went along with this plan, no guilt and lied to Zeke all these years. She couldn't have taken him with Monet telling her this walking 5 year old is 1 (or whatever age she took him). Diana better get all the sex she can before Monet gets her hands around her throat again. I would not be surprised if she carried out her many threats to kill her. This show has a bad track record of a father killing his son or a son shooting his father. Not sure why Lorenzo said "I thought I raised you better". He was in prison all those years. How much raising did he do? She was eating up Davis' words about Tariq. Not so much with Jenny. I would think Monet made Carrie write a suicide note so the detectives wouldn't investigate. But if Whitman is still on the show, I guess this will be his next case to try to solve or pin on Tariq. Is there room in the great Power Universe for this? LOL. Is it true there might be a spinoff with Davis and Saxe? Might as well have Yaz come back in 10 years with her show (reading all the letters Ghost left for her predicting everything accurately). I'm surprised Monet has heard Mecca's name twice and was never curious to ask Cane to meet. With back to back episodes of each hooking up with Tariq, those two are definitely headed for a show down. Maybe not the scenes you are expecting. Not interested to see them fight over him. I do want to see Lorenzo and Dante brawl. I wonder to what level of anger will Dante be with the stolen ring.
-
Correction on my part: Diana just became daddy's little favorite. She's going nowhere. Dru and Cane might as well move to the basement or garage. Another option for those two, there is a bloody GTG clubhouse that just became available. They didn't for sure! Diana didn't even run to Lord Tariq with the news as soon as she found out. Now that's focus keeping a secret! Maybe Dante is playing the long game and also knows he can't kill Monet's son. But I don't see a good reason to waste a loyal member of your staff just to play Cane. Just don't bring up "mole" at all. LOL. Right now he is working hard getting information on their parent's employment, background. etc. so he knows who to shakedown for political favors or get free items.

My goodness! This episode was odd and funny. Zeke is 23 and he thought he was 19! The first thing on his mind after this revelation was he broke NCAA violations? LOL! At least he can legally drink now. I have a feeling the clerk on the phone with Diana knew all this juicy gossip about Zeke since the day he was born and was waiting for someone finally to call. Once she heard "Ezekial Cross" .......It was time to talk and pass out birth certificates (Is this legal). She probably has the scoop on all shady activities in NYC. Zeke can't take a hint? If Diana said she was at the game, cover for her and say she was there! You dumb, newly revealed 23 year old motherf*cker! For Monet to ask how Diana would know so much about Tariq's trial. I would think this is in the news and internet to search. Do Diana or Cane or Dru expect to still live in the house after all this? With Zeke's big revelation and Monet outed to be sleeping with Dante, they overshadowed Cane messing up the family business, Dru didn't kill Everrett and no one eating the cornbread. Why is Sullivan putting Carrie on the stand without having all the facts about her background and no preparation? Davis made them look so stupid. I think Davis wanted to brag to the court he got Carrie. Is the hanger around the corner from Dante's apartment in Manhattan that Chef can easily get back to and there was no traffic that day? Didn't know Manhattan was so small in this BIG rich town. Was the power back on when Chef got back to the apartment so he could take the elevator or was he a former stair climbing champion? He got back to apartment quick while slow ass Dru was there. That heist was so bad, the people on "Animal Kingdom" were not impressed. I'm sure the jurors were advised to not make faces or laugh at jokes in the courtroom. Damn! How many guns does Dante need in his apartment? Where does he have room to keep his clothes? I think there were guns in the refrigerator too. But why go back to the apartment for weapons, I would think Dante has an arsenal in his SUV or at the hangar. So Ghost put in the will to have Yaz adopted, the adoption record sealed and her last name changed. I have a hard time thinking Ghost planned all this. The lawyer must have a stack of instructions for different scenarios at different ages. Does Yaz get her inheritance with the new name in foster care? I am sure Ghost foreseen the family that she would be joining. I guess Yaz is not needed anymore and they came up with this BS to get the character off the show. What exactly did Chef do that there was enough proof to be the mole to get killed? Dante clearly can't think straight. Chef was an interesting character and shouldn't have been killed off this fast. See ya Carrie! Your time was up last season. You shouldn't have let Tariq talk you into going on the witness stand. Now you lost your job and integrity. I wonder if Monet had to really force Carrie into hanging herself. Maybe a little encouragement from her (waving a gun) but I think Carrie was ready to go. See ya Lil Guap! I'm impressed you made this far on the show. Where was your gun during the fight with Dru or strength to toss him over the railing? Not even a hit of coke could elevate him to save his life. So Lil Guap is dead, all GTG has been eliminated, and Chef is dead, how will Dante know where to recover the stolen the drugs and valuables? Or is it not worth pursuing to him? A write off?! At least keep Chef alive to get a confession. He just assumed he was the mole with no proof and slit his throat. Cane conveniently mentions GTG and Dante caught him peaking where the ring was kept but that's not enough to suspect Cane. Ok! So far, Diana caused the contractor to be killed by Monet for being blamed taking the money from the safe (that she took) and now she got Carrie supposedly killed by Monet so Zeke can't go to her again. Diana has blood on her hands and she doesn't care. I would hope Laruen's parents has the sense to get her far away from the school now. I wouldn't mind if she is off the show. They couldn't find actors with same complexion as Lauren to play her parents? Effie is falling for Tariq. Poor girl! Now she has the skills to turn off the entire power in an apartment building. Ok! What was Saxe's motivation to give Tariq information? He has great hearing to know Tariq heard the recording from a closed room. Sullivan draws the line with kissing but having sex with Saxe is not a problem. Ok! The one who suffered the most this episode was Tate. His efforts and hopes to get Carrie in bed is all gone and now he has to grade papers alone. He doesn't have time, they are all getting As.

My goodness the show opens with the same damn clip of Liz holding the gun to Red and getting shot. How many times do we need to see this writers? Maybe they enjoy highlighting Ressler's embarrassing crash over and over. So Red is dumb or arrogant to see Dembe leave for the FBI, never changed anything in his business so Dembe can't blab secrets to Cooper and the misfits?! The man is seriously sliping. I appreciate Marvin's efforts trying to tell Red how silly, stupid and petty he is being. I hope Cooper doesn't consider himself on the same level of the great agents that paved the way for him being there. Once Isabellle was taken and had a gun to her head, I guarantee she was praying a cop would save her. How can the FBI be all that Isabella think they if they can hire Dembe with his highly questionable past? It's insane he got a job there. Why was having the lights go out stop (the so called Wolf) Baptiste from shooting Isabella when he is ready after giving a lengthy monologoue? The gun is right by her head. It's not like he will lose his close aim in the dark. She wasn't running anytime soon. Great! Now a time killing mystery is created to find out how Vandyke found Liz in order to shoot her. Of course it can't be Neville because he is dead. The rest of the season will be pointless running around BS finding this person until the final episode of the (let's hope) series. So Red had Vandyke's phone to track the coordinates and couldn't piece it together to clear Dembe from blame in 2 years? But it took Aram 2 seconds to solve it! And after all he put Dembe through, he just brushes it off like it was nothing. All is forgiven. Dembe should have knocked him out. Agnes didn't look impressed at all with Red reading her the story.
