I am so excited about Top Chef KY! Lexington has lots to offer including chefs Ouita Michel, Jonathan Lundy, Dan Wu, Mamadou "Sav" Savané, Mark Jensen, Ranada West-Riley, and many more. The food scene here is pretty diverse and fun. I'm sure there will be a Keeneland event, and hopefully not everything will be bourbon-related!

I liked this episode except for the France striptease. Gretchen isn't a complete idiot! I know, I know - she's "the Worst". But c'mon. Ben Folds is a treasure - I just love him. And I always enjoy the callbacks to Pets of Instagram. “Don’t be sleeping on Dads. Dads know how to bang down real good on account of they pregged up a bitch before.” “That tracks.”

They also kept asking Nova if it was "ok" for them to leave. DON'T DO THAT! Jo and Javi both surprised me with their emotional responses in different ways. It was nice to see. ETA: my little brother used to eat Cool Whip out of the tub with a butter knife too. So to me Addie's choice was endearing as long as it's not a daily habit or anything ;)

i can't believe I've forgotten as it drove me totally nuts, but who refers to filing for child support the way Briana etc. do? "Time to do the child support"?? My mind rage-blanked.

:) While Briana's family is impossible to deal with, it's still on Luis to make time to see his daughter. Say it has to be in his home, something to get away from them but still make it happen.

I really liked this episode. Jimmy's "Can't - no keys. Burn!" cracked me up, as well as all of the '90's hits.

Long time lurker, 2nd time poster. I think David thinks it establishes a 'bond' to the outside observer(s)? My stepmother did the same with me: overly loud and "jokey" on the surface when other people were around but always insulting and judgemental. Her tone was light so how could I be upset? (my dad would say)

I can't help but love this family. I agree the "losing Hazel" bit was staged, but Dale is my favorite so he gets a pass. Doctor time for sure for Adam.
