  1. I only have two kids, but I found myself involuntarily shushing the tv when the girls were out in public at the grocery store and at the gee-gaw store (as my grandfather would say) to get the present for Blayke. There is never anyone telling them to quiet down! I get that they're 3.5 but whew. I always tell my youngest son when he makes stink eyes at young kids out in public that it's not their fault it's their parent's for not correcting them, redirecting, and removing them if necessary. How will they learn? And their new house seems pretty big - besides letting Danielle recuperate elsewhere which would make more sense, are they THAT LOUD in the living room downstairs that she can hear them? I also was pleasantly surprised we did not have to be told over and over that her oral surgery was on her BIRTHDAY, which is only TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. You wouldn't know it, but I do like this family I just...don't understand a lot of their choices but ofc it may be the tv editing gods and/or 'we need a story'. These kids and their cousins are very gorgeous people as evidenced by the Santa photo shoot, to end on a positive note 🙂
  2. Love it! I also agree about Jenelle and not treating her obvious issues
  3. I live in KY and Sara has made it hard to root for her but I did come around to not hating her the last few weeks. Her food did look fairly yummy. I'm glad Kelsey won. I definitely do not think Kentucky cuisine was highlighted particularly well and that's a shame.
  4. https://www.grammarly.com/blog/affect-vs-effect/ That might help you! Jayde is SO CUTE
  5. Braeson being so excited to see Robert broke my heart! What a sweet baby. It also really highlighted the difference in Brianna's response to talking to him. Yikes!
  6. Especially because a layoff is much more relatable and yet dramatic than actively choosing to leave your job...
  7. Oh, right - but he specifically said, "How are your stitches doing?" The nurse comment gave me the heebiest of jeebies.
  8. Yes, very. And isn't it a minimum wait of six weeks to have sex if you had a vaginal birth? Her stitches have to heal!
  9. lol - that was a lot of look! I'm glad she's realizing the one benefit of divorce is that she calls the shots in her own life now (minus whatever visitation agreement is in place). He can't have it both ways.
  10. No Mimi was a welcome respite. With lemonade stands most people 'donate' more than just paying for a drink. I think that was the case for the $85, and it was good of her to donate some to the animal shelter.
  11. Dale said Hazel was the first quint he held in the NICU and with that he formed a bond with her. I believe him, and don't think there's anything sinister about it? I think the 'favorite' thing is lighthearted especially with so many kids, or that's how I take it anyway!
  12. I'm glad Mimi finally vocalized something besides "I'm living someone else's life" (??) in that she's embarrassed that she has no career and lives with her children. The career thing was true before the hurricane, and I get that depression is a factor here but I hope she realizes she can change her circumstances when she wants to, and having such a large supportive family is definitely conducive to that. Her storyline is frustrating to watch. My kids never smeared their poo or removed their diapers, TG, but I remember on baby boards when moms would talk about wanting to duct-tape their kids' diapers on. I imagine with a big group of kids it's 'monkey see monkey do', and it only takes one... "I makeover" and "tails" = SO.CUTE.
  13. Very clearly thinking she was super clever with her "Captain Save A Ho" line...Brittany annoyed the fire out of me. Not to mention every time she said it (three? four??) I was thinking, "You're calling your sister a ho!" Which...ok. Whole 'nother ball of wax. But it took away from the whole slam-on-Javi thing. Brianna/Roxy/Brittany: why make the kids come on a school night when they will just see you in pain and be scared and, as noted above, YOU HAD A NURSE? I don't know how Janelle isn't facing charges. Poor Jace! *Whispers* - I'm kinda with Kail on the child support thing. I make more than my ex-husband and in our state it's just an income calculation so we both pay CS even though I'm the custodial parent. He purposefully stays in a lower-paying job to not pay more $, while I'm trying to get every promotion I can. And his now-wife's salary isn't factored in at all, which I get, but he has access to a whole lot more money than me just by being a dual income household. Yes, she should be thinking about the future and non-Teen Mom days, but seems like a double standard that it's ok for him and not her. Just my .02!
  14. I like this show. I think it's tough to balance the "boring stuff" (aka normal day to day care) with needing different settings so furniture store, zoo, etc. Kinda seems like they can't win: accused of being opportunistic while we're the voyeurs who want to see more than just the quints in their playroom. I only have two kids and I was never as organized as Danielle. I admire her for it, and obviously that is a necessity with so many kids. And she does seem to have an incredible amount of patience. "Outdaughtered" reminds me fondly of the best parts of toddlerhood - how sweet and cute they can be, and the funny things they say/how they say it - while also making me 100% glad there's no more screaming temper tantrums and potty training! My 12 year old son loves watching this show with me lol He can't get enough of "Do this!" "No! (pause)...Ok." I think it was Hazel with the grapes. He thinks they're hilarious. And I LOVE DALE.
  15. I like Jason as a judge, but agree he would be a great host.
  16. Agreed. And he was SO CUTE in it! That hair <3
  17. Well I have seen more of Bar's mother's bewbs than I cared to, and for much longer than necessary (aka: none and never) Lexi's mom: "You were never ambitious"...I can see that. I do hope she becomes a funeral director. Like Quita said, her lack of affect will really come in handy (and I mean that sincerely!)
  18. Sean is either a complete asshole, or totally level-headed and fine. No happy medium with that one. He was so reasonable about her parents (basically by refusing to take a stance) and then...this? Again?? So much verbal abuse - I wish MTV would do PSAs on that.
  19. Duff has donkey-kicked his way into my heart. I just can't help but like him, and I do think he has the most constructive and yet honest comments without being cruel. It's quite endearing (and helpful).
  20. Agree with this. My 12 year old son said Caleb's looked like my leg after surgery last year (I had a benign tumor removed from the back of my calf and it left about an 8 inch, very red, scar). I had to laugh - and agree, although I was rooting for him. I knew it would be Nacho because they kept him around after some pretty big gaffes. Oh well - I liked all three of the finalists and thought they did well. I HATE THE TWISTS otherwise I love this show and all of its iterations.
  21. "You don't seem depressed to me." There is so much wrong with this dude and that statement, I can't even form words. I was glad Jade said...something but my ears were ringing and I didn't really hear her response.
  22. Every scene is these heavily pregnant girls trying to appease their worthless baby daddy or SO or former SO. I know, I know; it's the tale as old as time for these shows, but it's so disheartening to watch. It's never about helping them out or what they need physically, emotionally, or financially. I just want to shake them all! "We've got the first week covered" = oh, good. This will end well.
  23. Who would have thought that would (and for her, should) become a requirement for pants?! I've always thought she was pretty - her tattoos killed that more than her surgeries for me, although all the PS sure didn't help...
  24. I watch them when they're repeated but I think you missed the rafting cabin one, which was cute. This week's had a mom who is a writer and they created a screen for her to have a little privacy to write (it was tiny, but nice).
  25. I just saw that episode last night and I do not understand all the 'porcupine chewing up the wood' hand-wringing but not what they were doing to prevent it on all that new, delicious lumber for the expansions?? It drove me crazy they never mentioned it again after showing all of the damage.
