  1. Detailed description of the Penny Dreadful: City of Angels plot and pictures of Natalie Dormer's character Magda the demon. First Photos of Natalie Dormer in PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS and New Details
  2. The First Season Marvel's WHAT IF...? Animated Series Will Include 10-Episodes and Season 2 is Already in Development A 23 episode animated TV series with the first season consisting of 10 episodes. The stories are told from the perspective of Uatu The Watcher, where he sees how major events might have changed under slightly different circumstances. This show will be appearing on Disney+ in the Summer of 2021.
  3. That because there was only 2 people on the entire spaceship, until there wasn't.
  4. If your daemons do that when you kiss each other, I would hate to see what they are doing while you are having sex. So did Will find the portal because he read his father's letters, because he followed a cat (that wasn't the same cat that got stomped on at Will's house was it, it was way too dark for me to tell), or through sheer dumb luck (I mean Destiny)? Am I supposed to like Mrs. Coulter now? At least I saw her pet her daemon. Now that they explained what Dust is, can somebody explain it to me? I feel like the explanation went right over my head. Did Lord Asriel say that Adam and Eve had daemons that didn't have a set form until they ate the "apple/forbidden fruit"? Did anybody see Thorold's daemon, this is why I have problems with the show, I saw nothing, but it was very dark most of the time. Lyra was hiding in crack when the bombs were dropping, then all of a sudden she is standing right in the middle of the crevasse. Be Better Lyra.
  5. The only good thing about the video is they give you a really good look at Black Noir, I had completely forgot he was in the show and could never get a real good look at him.
  6. Even in real life, Usain Bolt is often called 'the fastest man alive'. So I am not sure how DC can claim that phrase as its property. They would really have a hard time proving that "alive" part.
  7. Mine didn't, there was no reason to magically transform yourself in the first place, other than vanity. I am guessing you can stay the same and have kids or change yourself and be sterile.
  8. How much older must Duny be than Pavetta if he saved her father's life before she was born?
  9. I thought it was the dirty secret of the school, that nobody ever flunks out of the school, they are turned into eels and their magic is siphoned off like a battery to use in maintaining the school. Think electric eels, but replace electric with magic.
  10. There were lots of same-sex couples in the orgy scenes. Yennefer when she walks into her old room at the Sorcerer Academy seemed to have interrupted the start of some girl on girl action. There really doesn't appear to be that many main characters having sex in the show.
  11. My favorite character was Renfri and I have no idea where in the Witcher's timeline she fits in. The scenery was wonderful, too bad they didn't use it more to establish the scope of the show. The Witcher's mama had a pocket gold dragon? The story line was rushed and a little too complex, all I really wanted was some excellent sword work, either against other humans or some monsters. They burned through a ton of characters I would have preferred was fleshed out more. How cute is pocket Gwyneth Paltrow that everybody that sees her tries to adopt her. She stole the lady's horse and turned it into ground chuck. The lady didn't even bat an eye, just took her right back. Ciri never appreciated the extreme kindness that everybody she has met has shown her. She really had to be Destiny's Child.
  12. Were they Reavers or Gremlins, why were there so freakin' many of them?
  13. My take was Lord Asriel was just as bad as and was doing the same things as Mrs. Coulter. That is why Mrs. Coulter said take me with you so I can explain what Lord Asriel was doing in his lab. I felt that Lord Asriel asked the bad bears to grab him some children to experiment on and thought they had sent him Lyra. Lord Asriel refused to do his experiments on his daughter, but would gladly do them on Roger.
  14. A mostly pointless episode, just a way to maneuver the key players into position.
  15. More time shifting nonsense. As I suspected, Yennefer's story takes 30 years to reach the present. I believe Hedgehog and his wife are the parents of Princess Ciri/Fiona and Geralt caused all the present day problems by not coming back 16 or so years ago to collect the Princess as his "Surprise". So now the Princess Ciri is on a quest to find Geralt. I have no idea if we have seen Geralt in the present yet. It is almost impossible for me to tell how long ago what I am seeing has occurred. Not cool TV show, I don't want to have to think this hard and I don't remember characters that well unless they are named Mousesack.
  16. The timeline dazes and confuses you as Geralt rides his horsey from a blazing hot desert(?) where they are growing grain to a place with snow on the ground. Then he hunts a monster, how long, I do not know? Ciri remains in the freezing cold how long, I do not know? Yennefer goes on a sorceress' journey, how long, I do not know? Definitely several months by my reckoning. Possibly what we are seeing happen 30 or 40 years in the past. Was that supposed to be the King with the monster problem and his sister as young children at the party where Yennefer transformed herself. How long was that princess an monster? I am sure they can teach her language and how to be a proper lady and to be a Queen in no time. There is always one character in every episode that seems to talk a little too much. Shut yer yap! sexy detective sorceress, less talking and more clue finding. There is way too much plot going on in each episode, slow it down and throw in more nudity or more fighting, or both. How am I supposed to follow the story when there are naked women on the screen? Great fighting, but not enough of it. They still haven't explained the Witcher eyes, I guess I will have to look it up.
  17. Episode seemed clearer and the colors brighter. Little Geralt fighting, he was not even the main focus of the story. Good comedic scenes, managed to tone down the dialogue spouted by all the characters except for the Bard. If the Bard talk half as much, it would have been a better episode. Too much plot, not enough mindless fighting.
  18. I haven't played the games or read the books. So an uninformed opinion. Monsters CGI looks good. You would think if you would have 8 legs, you could attack with 4 legs. Fight scene should have been more challenging. Colors are kind of dull, fantasy colors should pop more. Like during the Wizard scenes, if that was 11 turn the rest of the colors to a 7 or 8. Tons of name dropping I was attempting to remember them all until I realized they had no intention of stopping. Must be shout-outs to the people who read the books and played the game. Fight scenes are well choreographed could have used a few more from the main character. Main character Geralt talks a lot (all the characters talk a lot) even the people on the show ask why the main character is talking so much. Running joke?: Everybody complaining about what Geralt is wearing, saying he need a new set of clothes. What he is wearing looks new and well made, not exactly sure why everybody thinks he needs an upgrade. Geralt's eyes changed color, I guess they will explain that at some point. Why would a powerful Wizard have a name like Mousesack, does the names Lionsack or Elephantsack belong to the Grand Wizards? Nice to see an entire army of thousands of soldiers color coordinate so well, each put on their team colors and it was very obvious who was fighting for whom.
  19. I think it is impressive that one person could represent everyone on Earth. Imagine how much each country's culture had to change to accomplish this.
  20. It probably wasn't that hard fly this ship since Lil' Oda decided to do a few donuts over Kuiil's planet to get himself literally "grounded". He obviously mastered the navigation part already.
  21. You say everybody has the right to choose how they live their lives and then you chastise them for the way they chose to live their life?
  22. I can tell the difference by the buildings, but even more importantly by how noisy our world is compared to theirs.
  23. I think Lil' Oda picked up on Cara's strong desire to defeat Mando (who knows what kinds of thoughts went through her mind to pump her up to win the match) when the friendly game of arm-wrestling got more heated.
  24. I heard a rumor that a few years ago, Anna Faris' life was problematic with an upcoming divorce and her child's health problems. I believe the rest of the cast stepped up to relieve the pressure and stabilize the show. Bonnie being such a great actress kind of stole the spotlight and the rest of the cast took on a larger role. I am sure if Christy wants more screen time they would be willing to let her.
