For some reason, my DVR did not tape these episodes, so I wasn't really sure if they came on. I managed to watch them on Peacock. It seems like the Season 2 shows are trying to move away from Kenan the dad and his family and give the rest of the morning show cast a bigger role. The "Dating App" episode was OK, but I liked the "Work Friends" episode much better as it spread the workload between the entire cast and added some new character interactions between cast members. It also had a lot of energy which the previous episode lacked.

They jumped into the criminal aspects so quickly and so heavily that the show didn't bother to answer some of the other questions that were on my mind. They were using her too much and they should have given her a crew to train. Questions like how do illegals (undocumented immigrants) live, how do they get houses, cars, jobs, pay for appliances, etc. What can they do or are afraid of doing (slightly touched on), how is their life different from American citizens. Questions like how does the plastic tenting work and how much of the house contains it, what are the special precautions you have to take to bring yourself, items, food through the plastic barriers. It seems fairly convenient that Thony's new boss has unlimited money and seems to make fake identities. Did the boss make Thony clean up a wild party at his own house?

I was hoping for more of a travelogue, but the show managed to make traveling depressing, almost as depressing as the people taking the journey. Seasickness, political turmoil and getting all of your possessions stolen does not make you want to travel abroad. There was a lot of running involved and all I could think was that Fogg would never be able to run that much. I did like the shot of the Gargoyles and the Hot Air Balloon. Hopefully the story will leave the cities behind and provide us with some beautiful scenery and hopefully more upbeat travel companions.

I think the mother said she came back to the place where they separated them. I also think the ICE Agent was the same one that originally took Pedro.

I am not sure what country the mother and son were escaping from, but it seems kind of weird that their first stop would be New York and even weirder that there would be ICE Agents there patrolling the border. But, I guess that was not going to stop the show from making their point. The mother snuck into America twice! We need move ICE Agents securing our New York borders! I am not sure why any American company would want children as laborers.
