I have yet to meet a Filipino woman who has a saint's name. They all have creatively spelled virtue names or two completely unrelated names smushed together.

If it hadn't been for Josh going after someone that wasn't his sisters I have a pretty good feeling this would have been kept hush hush and JB and Michelle would have done nothing. Move along, nothing to see here...

If you read the police reports it is easy to match who is who. There is a reason Jinger wanted to get the hell out of the TTH. Although if this is all true, Jinger "crying and praying" over her decisions to wear pants and that BS makes sense. Grovel a bit so she doesn't get the banhammer from the TTH.

Remember that when Smuggar and JB/Michelle's utter stupidity was brought to light that 19 Kids and Counting was at its peak. The Jessa/Ben courtship attracted a lot of attention and finally seeing one of the J'Slaves married off (Jill) was something a lot of us thought would never happen. If I remember correctly the most watched episode was Ben and Jessa's wedding. Jill and Jessa carried the show to its current limping form. They probably have permanent back pain from doing so. The problem I have with Derick (and I've said this before) is he starts this every damn time the Duggars get some attention for something. Then he starts referring to an event in their lives, gets people riled up, and leaves it at that for another day. Either spill everything or shut up. The drip, drip, drip is annoying. That being said this is Jill's story to tell and we have Derick's biases in what is happening. I think Derick likes to stir shit when he gets to opportunity and it shouldn't be at Jill's expense. We legitimately do not know what Jill thinks of everything that has happened.

Yeah. I don't see what good can come of JB being blasted on social media. I have a sneaking suspicion JB is enjoying the attention because Derick can never get his story straight so people are wondering if this is true or not. One thing my mother taught me is that it does not end well if you start talking shit about your in-laws in front of your spouse. JB is many awful, evil things. He's still Jill's dad. Until there is concrete proof Jill has said "I'm done with my father and that is it" I'm going to pull the 😬 face. If Jill is done with him and her fame whore family then I will reconsider my 😬 face. Until then, 😬.

I've been back home visiting people and it has been a strange experience. The friend I posted about a while ago has postponed her wedding indefinitely at the moment. She is still engaged but I am starting to doubt the wedding will happen at all. They changed the date three times. Now it is "TBA". Ok. The wave of divorces are starting too. My boyfriend and I have discussed it and he simply cannot wrap his head around how young and fast people got married. That is just the norm here. At least divorce is somewhat acceptable. I just wish it wouldn't be viewed as such a failure. It's not a failure to admit the relationship is no longer working and cannot be fixed. It is what it is. I hope everyone has a lovely holiday. I've ate entirely too much and am going to end up spending every day in the gym in January.

The Duggars might be but god help the Vuolos if one of the Howlers marries a pretty one and/or a firecracker. They may be "too boring".

Erin is the attention seeker of the Bates' clan. She's the golden child and clearly the favorite. Erin was and always will be an over the top fundie princess. That hair, good God... How things could have played out differently had Erin ended up with a Derick Dillard type versus Chad Paine.

Anna probably spent a half hour staging the photo and they were over it. But anything for the 'gram. Dithy got to hold the rabbit so that's why she was happy.

Yeah but now they've realized you don't need to sew a t-shirt on top of a wedding dress. 😉 If we take when Erin got married and all the fundies and Modest Is Hottest crowd wearing the t-shirt wedding dresses, Erin picks the same style wedding dress again. If she was getting married today it would probably be different. However I'm guessing Tori, Josie, and Carlin would have ended up with Frakendresses too if UP! was not in the picture.

I try and block that one out of my mind. Bleh. It's not like the Bates daughters have an expiration date if they aren't set to be married off by 19. Their parents seem to think they do.

Kind of makes you wonder how she is going to try and upstage Chaney. Kelly Jo is to weddings as what Michelle Duggar is to others giving birth. Needs to be the centre of attention. That being said I think Erin and Michael would have wore those horrid dresses regardless since they were Modest Approved(TM).

Josiah looks like he is besotted with Bsa. That probably helps. Don't get to Zsa though Josiah! Although I fully support a Zsa Zsa Duggar.

It does seem far fetched. There was a throwaway line the poster used about watching the show and continuing to support the Duggars by watching. It's something I keep going back and forth on. In a way, following these folks is keeping the show on the air. Ugh. Decisions, decisions.

Gothard and IBLP is a weird, weird thing. I was on a message board years ago and people claimed they followed parts of his teachings like fiscal management but didn't subscribe to his teachings on homeschooling and strict gender roles. This was before the scandals blew up and it has never been mentioned again. I always wondered how people could support an organization like that if they disagreed with two of the biggest stances. The fact they were paying for it all was astounding.

The Duggar clan seems detached from big Christmas celebrations. It seems every other year half the clan is on some sort of missioncation. It was only around the time of the TeeVee show that they started having a tree and the like.

Marrying Jinger off to Jeremy was just a business transaction in my opinion. First wedding of Counting On. People magazine spread. I think they were also hurrying to marry off Jinger and Joy before the 2 year limitations on suing In Touch was up. The filing before Joy's wedding was really suspect. Jeremy just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He was the lucky winner on The Bride is Right. We will see how it all plays out. Jeremy still has some gas in the tank for awhile. He and Jinger have gotten the taste for the LA lifestyle. I do not see either of them giving it up that easily.
