  1. T is for Tiberious, which is Woody's middle name, until we find out his middle name is apparently Woody, and his actual name is Huckleberry!
  2. Tweed! What does Sam think the painting in the Sistine Chapel is called?
  3. The answer to my question was 1) Joel Polis and 2) Robert Desidario. Next question!
  4. Q is for question, when Sam popped the question to Diane in season five.
  5. Uh oh, was this one too hard? I think on stumpers, it's okay to go and check as long as you know where to check (i.e. go to the episode on Netflix, etc)
  6. L is for Lying, which as we know, Sam lied to Diane a couple of times during the year they dated!
  7. H is for John Allen Hill, who feuds with Sam for the later part of the series.
  8. E is for Eddie LeBec, who Carla married in season six.
  9. Well, in Sam's daydream, Cliff and Norm actually appear, Woody is spoken about and Carla calls them on the phone. Who were the two actors who took turns playing Gary, owner of Gary's Old Town Tavern?
  10. B is for Bar Wars, where Cheers competed with Gary's Old Town Tavern.
  11. Yes, the boobs were a mess but I still loved Kini's. He would have won if the boobs had worked out properly. I only liked Korina's after the coat was taken off. Ugh. Blanket material, how awful. And I hate the way Korina speaks, like she only uses her lower lip to talk, weird. It's hard to listen to her speak now. Sean's was indeed a snoozefest, didn't Princess Diana wear that in the early 90's? I did agree with Samantha's looking like something an assistant would wear. I always chuckle when I watch red carpet shows, there are all the stars, then there are these anonymous looking women who look way frumpier than anyone else--are they all PR people?
  12. Sam: "You are the nuttiest, the stupidest, the phoniest fruitcake I ever met!" Diane: "Sam Malone--" Sam:"Shut up! Shut your fat mouth!" Diane: "Make me." Sam: "Make you? I'd like to bounce you off every wall in this office!" Diane: "Try it and you'll be walking funny tomorrow. Or should I say funnier?" Sam: "You know, I've always wanted to pop you one. Maybe today's my lucky day, huh?" Diane: "You disgust me, I hate you." Sam: "Are you as turned on as I am?" Diane: "More!" And we know what happens after that. Classic.
  13. Anthony, Ann Marie, Serafina, Gino, Lucia, Ludlow, Jessie and Elvis. What is the name of the convent Diane retreats to after she returns from Europe?
  14. I think it's safe to say we got most of them! Who would like to take the next trivia question?
  15. Then there's the end of The Spy Who Came In for a Cold One, where Sam tells her he thinks he's falling in love with her (in jest, or is it???)
  16. Art History, Pre Law....some sort of Native American studies (or was that just a class?)
  17. Is it just me or is the final exchange between Sam and Diane in Pick A Con, Any Con super sexy?
  18. My all time favorite from the first season is Showdown, part 2. However, there are almost too many great episodes to narrow it down. I have a soft spot for Endless Slumper. I love the scene when Sam tells Diane why the bottlecap is special to him.
  19. Lucia di Lammermoor. Diane and Frasier went to Europe in season three, but what specifically, was Frasier's destination?
  20. Knowing Sam, I feel it was his guilt after the fact, the same way he feels in "A Ditch in Time" after Diane goes over the laundry list of his faults.
  21. J is for Jimmy Burrows, who directed nearly all of the episodes.
  22. Did Sam say the divorce was messy? I heard comments in later episodes that would suggest he regretted having to go through a divorce (i.e. it was his fault).
  23. Carla episodes are my least favorite as well. I'd rather have a Cliff episode than a Carla episode.
  24. MeTV is now showing episodes, in order, every weeknight at 11:00 p.m. (for those of you who have MeTV). I don't know why I find this exciting, since I can watch on Netflix any time I want to, but just the same, it's nice to have it on actual TV again. Season one is a miracle of television, it's nearly perfect. I still contend the pilot is one of the finest pilots ever put on television.
  25. I loved Glynis Johns as well, I was disappointed she never came back, not even when Sam and Diane got engaged. Also wondered why Allyce Beasley never returned as Coach's daughter Lisa (even though she only had two more seasons to do so), or why Sam's ex wife never returned, even briefly. I'm sure at least one story could have come from her in season five.
