  1. I agree. I have never seen someone who always has such a miserable, disagreeable look on her face and is actually miserable and disagreeable all the fucking time. Katie completely sucks all the fun out of room when she enters it, every time.
  2. Christina Ebersole really does have an amazing singing voice - I was hoping to hear more, too! I thought the scene with Abishola cleaning and speaking to Max's urn was adorable. She played it so well - it's nice to see a soft and lighthearted side to Abishola every so often - she really has a beautiful smile.
  3. Makes me think that Mauricio didn't want it played out for the entire RHOBH season as a storyline. Rather, he wanted it to be part of Buying Beverly (his show), so he could put his own spin on it, rather than being portrayed as the villain or bad guy on RHOBH, as would probably have happened. I don't know - I've never watched his show, but I do think there were some mutual agreements made between Mauricio and Kyle prior to filming both shows regarding how to spin/play/portray all of this in their "reality TV" lives.
  4. I don't know how much it pisses Kyle off, because I think she and Mau are also pretty wealthy now, but I know it sure as hell pisses Dorit off to no end, because she and PK are nowhere near wealthy - just putting up a good front.
  5. I wish these women would all realize that they are arguing with each other over the same exact fucking thing they are each saying!!!! "You implied this" "You intimated that" "I was joking when I said that" "I didn't mean that seriously" "Can't you take a joke" "I'm entitled to my opinion" "I'm entitled to defend myself" They are each all saying the SAME EXACT thing, but yet, they argue over it when someone else says it, too.
  6. Yes - that's right. I believe that Kyle referred to LVP as a master chess player, aka Bobby Fisher.
  7. Just had a rewatch of this episode, prior to watching Part 2 - one thing I noticed now that I missed last week - Dorit's total condescension and envy when Crystal clapped back that she has a company that is valued at $100 million dollars. Dorit was so green with jealousy, I'm surprised that her culturally appropriated outfit didn't immediately turn from red to green. Dorit was seething over the fact that Crystal has a profitable business that she doesn't EVER promote on the show, unlike ALL of Dorit's failed businesses.
  8. I thought of the same exact nursery rhyme, especially because it really fits with Dorit, too!! I thought she looked absolutely ridiculous!
  9. It's ridiculous that Marcus seems to be doing a "play by play" commentary like this is a sporting event. He's obnoxious. I hope he and Larsa buy a home somewhere other than Miami and she (and he) are gone for good. They're both rude.
  10. Kyle, Kathy and Kim are all "punishers" - they learned that from their mother. Dorit should apologize to LVP for siccing Kyle on her about Puppygate. LVP is still being punished by Kyle (for what, exactly, is hard to determine). Although Kyle can't seem to get LVP out of her head, after hearing Kyle snarkily commenting about LVP again tonight. Common sense and street smarts are so often lacking in those who have book smarts.
  11. I think that what Garcelle said about Dorit living in her own little bubble to be completely accurate. Dorit obviously travels in a very select social group - one that may be diverse, but one that is also very elitist, financially. So, I would imagine that her social circle is just as superficial as she is, and they are not having deep conversations about social injustices and words/actions that may be objectionable to non-Caucasian people during social gatherings. Dorit is not intentionally ignorant of these things, it's just that she chooses not to know. I can understand that, in a way. Speaking very honestly, as a white person of a certain age, I do try to make a conscious effort to be sensitive and knowledgeable about these things, but it is hard to keep up. Not that I'm defending Dorit, but I can kind of see where she is coming from, and at least seems to give the appearance of learning from her faux-pas.
  12. I seriously don't understand this. I know a lot of nurses and a lot of doctors, and trust them both implicitly, but, in some cases, I actually listen more to my RN friends and their observations than I do some of the doctors I know. And, many of my nurse friends say that some doctors really don't pay attention or get to the root of the patient's problem without consulting the nurses or sometimes, the nurses pointing things out to the doctors. BUT - I recently had a minor surgery done at a day-patient surgical center, and I had BOTH an anesthesiologist (Dr.) and nurse anesthetist as part of the surgical team. Both visited with me before and after my procedure, and were in the OR. I think that Annemarie really likes to obfuscate the truth. Even Kyle said that she thought Annemarie was a doctor.
  13. Oh, from your laptop to Bravo's/the producers' ears!! She is absolutely horrible!
  14. 1,000%!!!! What a fantastic person he is - and so supportive of his wife. I think a lot of the reason why he is so well liked is because he is genuine and down to earth. He's a firefighter and seems proud of his profession. He's not some bullshit investor, entrepreneur or whatever. He doesn't make a lot of money and doesn't seem to care whether he does or not. And, he's not a camera whore like some husbands from other franchises. So happy for Guerdy!!! (Because she is cancer-free, but also because she is married to an amazing guy!)
  15. Whatever happened, if Mauricio did cheat and got caught, I believe that Kyle is trying to at least not throw him to the wolves like what happened on Vanderpump Rules with Tom Sandoval. That was an example of being "eviscerated". Maybe Kyle and Mauricio worked out a deal that she wouldn't flat out call him a cheater on TV, thus saving him from losing business and being blasted all over the media. Or, maybe it was the other way around, and Mau is shielding Kyle. Who knows? All we know is they both are hinting at something, but not ready to actually come clean and admit whatever it is. At least not until after he opens 25 more new offices of The Agency around the globe and the second season of his real estate show drops on Netflix.
  16. Gee - not to make light of anxiety and depression issues, but with Lisa Rinna as a Mom, it's not a big surprise that both Amelia and Delilah have anxiety/depression issues along with an eating disorder. Thank God that Rinna is no longer on RHOBH!!!
  17. Well, based on what Kyle and the rest of the Faux Force Five (or whatever they called themselves - Rinna, Teddi, Dorit, Kyle and Erika) thought a few years ago, perhaps LVP instructed her Vanderpump Dogs store manager to leak the news. Just kidding..... I thought it was interesting that several of the women seemed to be more concerned over who leaked the story than if the story was actually true and if it was true, how their "friend", Kyle, was feeling.
  18. Actually, Andy was speaking to Kyle about what Erika said. During an appearance by Erika on WWHL, Andy was asking her what she thought about Kyle and Mauricio's marriage struggles during the season. Erika's response was something about hoping that Andy holds Kyle accountable at the Reunion for not being entirely truthful about her marriage problems, and did said that Kyle deserves to be eviscerated (or something like that), because Erika felt that she was eviscerated at the Reunion shows over her situation with Tom and the court cases brought by the victims of Tom's scamming and stealing money from accident victims. While I don't disagree that Kyle should be questioned in depth over whether she was completely truthful about her marriage, it was more of the same "I want retribution and demand apologies" bullshit from Erika, because she feels that she was treated wrongly for not having a scintilla of care or empathy for anyone but herself. Not fully disclosing marital issues on TV is small potatoes compared to what Tom Girardi did, and how Erika's selfishness and lack of empathy for anyone was shown. The only people hurting in a marriage breakup are the couple and their family - not hundreds of accident victims' and their families who had money basically stolen from them. So, this is one of the rare times when the previews showed the right thing. At the time when WWHL aired, I thought it was a pretty dramatic and cruel thing to say, but brushed it off as Erika being her usual cruel and nasty self. I'll be curious to see if Kyle has distanced herself from Erika for saying that the same way she has distanced herself from Sutton and Dorit over their comments about her marriage.
  19. You're probably right. She may have performed a couple of her other songs that had marginal success on an Itunes dance hits list. Two things I didn't get with all that focus on Erika - first, when Mikey gathered them for a "prayer" - did anyone else hear ANYONE in that circle, including Erika or Mikey, mention God, Jesus, or any other higher power, asking for confidence or giving thanks? Isn't that usually what prayer is? Second, whoever told Erika that making an entrance looking like a slutty Rocky Balboa in a white Barbie box was a good idea really is stupid (it was probably Mikey). She's trying so hard to be the low class Caucasion version of Beyonce/JLo and failing miserably. Having a bunch of back-up dancers and singers, along with some pyro effects does help distract from her lack of musical and dance talent (by design, I'm sure). She does look amazing, though - I've got to give her that, at least.
  20. On WWHL last night, Kyle was asked about Glenn, the event planner she previously used, and why he didn't do this event for her. Kyle kind of danced around the question, saying "Oh, I don't know - he was busy the day of the party, this was a big thing, I wanted something different".....more or less saying that Glenn wasn't good enough or upscale enough for this party.
  21. Much like Dorit does ALL the time. If one little logo is good, draping your entire body in logos must be better. If "fashion is Dorit's language" (as stated in her opening line), she didn't learn the language from Coco Chanel, who said to accessorize and then, before you walk out the door, remove one item - presumably because you've overdone it. Dorit overdoes her fashion constantly.
  22. I agree with your entire post. Kyle lets LVP rent space in her head for free. As much as she makes fun of LVP, she really wants to be just like her, with the gorgeous home, throwing fabulous parties, tons of designer bags, etc. IMO, that is why she hired Kevin Lee. Kevin Lee's party design style is so outrageously over the top, which always seemed to be more LVP's natural style than Kyle's. Kyle's natural style, in the past, seemed much more cozy and comfortable, with touches of elegance here and there. I would not feel uncomfortable sitting on Kyle's couch with my [unshoed] feet tucked under me. At LVP's, I would be nervous that my dark wash jeans were going to rub off on her gorgeous white couch, or afraid I would spill my tea on her carpet. As far as PK and Dorit - first, I do think that if they're back next season, their marriage will be shown to be struggling. Only because Dorit likes to compete with Kyle and if Kyle and Mauricio have marital problems, then, so will Dorit and PK. I also think that if you have such debilitating PTSD, being on a reality show is probably not a good idea, either. That makes me think that Dorit's PTSD is not as bad as she makes it seem AT TIMES. It's a convenient diagnosis for her to pull out when she feels she needs attention.
  23. I wonder if "Super-nurse anesthetist 8.5" jumps in to assist with assessing Sutton's situation.
  24. This White Party was all about Kyle asserting herself as a singular entity, and no longer "Kyle and Mauricio". What I loved about their past White Parties was that they always seemed to enjoy the more home-y setting of their gorgeous properties together, as a couple. This felt like too much like a corporate party - I'm surprised they weren't giving out "The Agency" swag. On second thought, no, I'm not surprised - as Kyle set out to prove she can do this without Mauricio (but, probably NOT without Mauricio's money). I don't give a shit that she protested to Kevin Lee about her name, and her name ONLY, on the dance floor. She was secretly happy about that. I also don't believe for a second that Kevin Lee would do something like that, and spend a big chunk of change on that without her prior approval. If he did, he would lose business, for not following client's wishes. Kyle also annoyed me with her snarky shit and shade about LVP. That was unnecessary, childish and just mean-girl. I didn't notice - was Kim at this party? And, were Kyle's former bff's - Teddi and Lisa Rinna in attendance? And what about her new bff - Morgan Wade? I guess Morgan's music and performance wouldn't have blended well with the over-done, ridiculous performance from Erika Jayne.
  25. I'm still processing most of this episode, and will probably have more comments later, but, after watching this episode and the previous episodes of the season, I am convinced that Kyle has worked out a deal with Hermes to get either deeply discounted or free Birkin and Kelly bags, as long as she prominently displays them at least once an episode. What finally convinced me was that during her conversation in her living room with Erika, there was a tan Birkin sitting off to the side on the couch. I just can't imagine why anyone would just have their handbag sitting on the couch in their living room while entertaining someone. Just makes no sense to me.
