Is Cayden James the worst villain that Arrow has had yet? I think so, I mean at least Damien Darkh managed to build an underground cornfield and Ra’s had all those candles. I get they are trying to setup a surprise villain but what a waste in the meantime.

As much as they need to do something to energize the Big Bad this season, doesn’t unknown female LOA member pulling strings from the shadows on behalf of paternal male figure seem too much like a Talia redux? Her plot was such a dud.

I agree that he worked but he was also introduced differently and had motivations that connected him to the team. I don’t think the other three or Evelyn really did.

They are reaping what they have sown by the hamfisted way Rene, Dinah and to a lesser extent Curtis were brought on the team. They were basically like temps who were brought in and now they aren’t really needed anymore but are still there except temps provide necessary if of short duration work and I don’t l know that I can say anything about Rene is necessary.

Hmmmm well Samantha apologized to Laurel so I was under the impression that they were not on a break but then again Oliver never apologized to Laurel (LOL) so perhaps he did pull a Ross...(and then she gave him a pep talk in the next episode).

She isn’t some rando off the street he fell for? OMG, I also own a suspicious amount of ankle length pants and leather jackets and have a high pitched voice. ? I agree, I think that though the show always said that Laurel saw the best in Oliver it always seemed like she wanted him to be some ideal she concocted in her head whereas with Felicity she encouraged him to be the best version of himself and vice versa.

The same poster accurately spoiled the crossovers and the last episode but they are not the most descriptive person and seem to miss/ignore a lot of background stuff and non-action stuff. I think they are getting the pre-VFX edits somehow?

It’s weird because he probably should be using it just for promotional reasons for all his side business but I guess he isn’t able to separate the professional and the personal in this case. Also, maybe I’m being unsympathetic, but I doubt he gets even a quarter the hate the female stars get, like CP for example. Perhaps there have been some threats or something more serious he’s not talking about. There is some speculation the “entity” is Tom Brady? I don’t know much about twitter but you can ignore your mentions, right? So this just seems to be a fairly melodramatic response and he seems to mainly use his twitter for sportsball and business promo, so it’s not like he’s putting himself out there opinion wise. Speaking of sportsball, I’m taking a wild guess that this embargo lasts until Sunday (or he needs to sell something).

Idk could it be a misdirect? He gained powers at the same time as Dinah so perhaps he's got some resistance against it? He's pretty much the only villainish person I find interesting since they mysoned Cayden James. Also I feel like Anatoly has been too quiet, maybe he does end up as the big bad?

They do seem to have done more harm than the salad bowl of villains.

JH's acting choices aside, BC is written as such a generic character and Arrow already has major issues with repetitive storylines that they really did her no favors. JH also seems to promote herself and her character a lot on social media so perhaps it's just laziness on the CW's part rather than an actual decision to promote one actress over the other. A lamp is probably way more useful than a Black Canary, sometimes this show is super dark, so hard to see.

Did I miss them saying what exactly Beth's job is? She seems to work for some sort of non-profit that does something with low income housing but then they also show her drawing at a drafting table and then saying she lost a lot in another episode?

I agree it is very distracting. At least make the box the same size and color as the heart. Or put the number in the heart.

Haha, I was thinking that either CJ knows that Oliver helped Slade who did try to destroy Star City or that he helped Merlyn who also tried to destroy Star City? Or Oliver's shady Russian connections, how topical. I feel like the show wants us to forget these things though.
