Is there a limited amount of elite choreographers that the skaters all go to? Could that explain why there is so much repetition with the music? They might be located in some random spot on their On Demand because they are not under figure skating on the app. The Olympic Ice Post Shows can be found on the Apple TV/FireTV NBCSN app under Replays/More. On the iOS apps, if you go to replay then the filter then move the slider to “digital”, the post show appears but do not filter for figure skating. NBCSN needs to hire new UI designers.

I agree with you for the most part, I guess I think the Oliver/William/Felicity stuff should be coming out of Oliver’s time and not be designated to Felicity, if that makes sense. Messy family blending is probably the most realistic thing Arrow has done. I have Myson fatigue in general though going into 6b so I don’t want anymore time or motivation given to anyone’s son, not even Oliver’s. OMG, 3Dragon is going to end up wanting all that money in order to somehow 3D print himself a son isn’t he? ?

So judging from these comments and interpreting them through what has been said in the past about her storylines, my uncharitable read is that Felicity doesn’t have her own storyline that is driven by her character in 6b. It’s all about Oliver and William, quelle surprise.

I haven’t been paying super close attention but it seems like there hasn’t been any discussion of anything Felicity-related going into 618. Please correct me if I am wrong. She did get some scenes with Alena which I wasn’t expecting so there is that. They probably cut her scenes for time to have Wild Dog say “This doesn’t change anything.” for the umpteenth time and Dinah smolder rage pose.

So...isn’t there supposed to be a Felicity storyline in 6b? After S5, “back to basics” is like a trigger for me and now I half expect Susan Williams to show up as the surprise character. Oooh maybe it’s JS?

Yeah, I do think there should be more points for splatting a quad than splatting a triple but is completing an extra revolution more difficult than landing a triple? I think they need to work on finding a happy medium between rewarding risk and rewarding execution.

For real, how many scenes have Oliver and Dinah had together without anyone else there that were not work related info dumps in the Mayor’s office? The one after Vince dies? Also, not to be pedantic but MG didn’t really shut it down, he said that Oliver would not cheat on Felicity, fans of the greatest love story never told can still hope for her death. Sigh. Though even if Oliver was in a polyamorous relationship with Fauxrel and Dinah they would probably still wish for Felicity’s death.

I actually find Johnny to be an effective commentator, he’s good at breaking things down. Also, Nathan may have cursed the ice. Hanyu is lucky he went fist.

I feel like he’s the director’s equivalent of people praising fathers for providing basic care to their own children. Dinah and Oliver are like work acquaintances who do not socialize outside the office and she was only invited to the wedding to be polite because it’s a small office and you don’t want to be rude by excluding someone even if you don’t really care if they are there or not... Black Canary is already the drummer in Spinal Tap might as well go all in.

Maybe I am guilty of stereotyping, but I am surprised whatever governing Russian skating body allowed that routine? I freely admit I don’t know much about skating, but it seemed so tasteless all around and I think even if it was well executed it still would have been a WTF? from me. I’m all for pushing boundaries and making skating fun but that was like if a 14 year old from 2007 designed that routine.

I think this is one of those seemingly rare times where the performance that looked the best to me actually won. There are specific errors as to why the Chinese were second and the Canadians third and the Russians off the podium, so even though I can see that the Chinese pair definitely have a gold medal routine in them and why they were the favorites, it just wasn’t their night. I hope Sui can get some rest and recovery time since it seems she has had injury after injury and come back for Beijing.

Yay! I am a sucker for a sob story but I really hope Sui/Han stick around, they are just so pretty to watch.

The Russians don’t skate fast enough for this song, people swing dance to it for goodness skate.... ...ok but now I kind of want to see an ice skating routine to Dirrrty.

Sui/Han have an absolutely beautiful quality to their skating, I hope they can go to Beijing.
