From what I’ve heard on their podcasts and articles, Johnny doesn’t seem to have the healthiest approach to eating and it seems like Tara just has lucky metabolism also I think she’s under 5’ so her size has always been an advantage to her for jumping. I do think they also essentially grew up in a hyper competitive atmosphere so I imagine it hard to change your do anything to win mentality.

That movie has tons of magic and mythology in it, some helpfully provided by a female character that doesn’t even get a name, and medieval bullet time? Wat. I’ll spare you all my Guy Ritchie rant. Also I say this as someone who liked SOA but isn’t comics GA supposed to be a wisecracking sort of guy? I don’t think CH has much comedic chops. Too bad Marvel has 75% of the Chrises locked up and Pine wisely attached himself to Wonder Woman. It seems like comics GA is basically Captain Kirk but with a bow and arrow. ETA: I don’t know that a serious, brooding GA like DCTV one works in the cinematic universe that already has Batman.

Johnny and Terry mention it and she responds but I don’t think she’s ever brought it up on her own. I do think Tara just tends to agree with Johnny however I find that the perspective of a nerves of steel champ like Tara (sobsKwansobs) who just did the thing vs Johnny who succumbed to nerves or injury or general skating BS can be interesting. I kind of want a Johnny/Tanith pair with Tara as the go-to commentator on all things gold medal and then Tara and Johnny can comment on style.

I was thinking along the same lines as maybe they shouldn’t allow judges to judge the pairs from their countries but maybe they should go all out and just get judges from countries without any skaters competing so there can’t be any score swapping though I suppose out and out bribery is still possible. They tested clean. ?

Has there always been that “clubs” option under the profiles and I just never noticed?
