  1. Or passive-aggressive. Jilly Muffin strikes me as the type to repress all her feelings until they explode -- in the form of pants-wearing.
  2. It's none of her business whether gay people get married or some random Arkansan buys beer at a party store, but that never stopped Mullet from protesting.
  3. The beard, the pants pulled up to his chest, the tie hanging over the pants...that's an odd-looking man!
  4. I don't fault some people for choosing fake plants. I have cats, so it's either worry about the plants, have no plants, or have fake plants. (The Seewalds, however, do not have this issue.) My point -- there is a reason some people have fake plants.
  5. That rule needs to change. "Reality" tv is ubiquitous now.
  6. I thought so as well, but I've also heard that it's essentially at the discretion of the parents -- that they can claim to use funds for the benefit of the child.
  7. So in other words, he did get conned out of it. My only question is why Jacob would blame his father more than his mother, since they both were in on it. Maybe Matt is more money-hungry in person. I watched that show briefly, and I always thought Jacob was the forgotten child of the Roloff family, like the Jennifer or Jordyn of the Duggar family.
  8. What was the issue with the money? Did he get conned out of it? I lost respect for Matt and Amy Roloff years ago -- for monetizing their family, for being slobs, and for their kids, or at least Jeremy, being bigots. Pretty much the same as Jim Bob and Michelle.
  9. I have wondered before if the Rodrigues' "foreign" last name affects their prospects in the fundie world. I think maybe it's a pinch of that, along with their other issues: their emaciation, unattractive countenances that include overloaded makeup and 1940s grab-bag clothing, and the presence of their parents.
  10. I was thinking something along the lines of the R girl's new home still being mobile, but less mobile than her parents' home.
  11. I'm trying to come up with a joke about the Kellers, mobile homes, the Rodrigueseses, and their RV. It's failing me.
  12. I give Jessa and Ben credit for letting their children have age-appropriate, fun toys. I remember the first Duggar specials, but I don't remember the kids having toys then. Of course, the J'slaves were busy raising their siblings, but you'd think the multitude of howlers would have had a toy or three. Spurgeon and Henry look clean and happy, too.
  13. I think that reddit is fake. The comment about Derelict asking "if roe v wade was overturned if women could get the death penalty for abortions which seemed extreme to me. He also said something about pedophiles and rapists being worthy of death. I’m sorry I can’t remember more specifically but I’d say very pro" sounds like something he read in an online forum much like this one. And unless I'm off on my Duggar offspring, there was no Smuggar baby girl five years ago. Isn't Meredith four this year and Mackynzie ten? Did Smuggar even have the car lot five years ago? Wasn't he in DC then?
  14. Good point. I will amend that the Duggar offspring appear more interested in their spawn than their own mother was. Then again, Mullet had nineteen, and so far no Duggar daughter has more than two. (I leave Ofsmuggar out because she married into that fucked-up family.)
  15. They're not interested in any kids they didn't birth. This "'we will adopt,' Jill confirms" was just bullshit clickbait, or whatever the print version of clickbait is.
  16. I've been thinking about moving to A2. Macomb isn't working for me. This suburb is a weird combination of Real Housewives and Duck Dynasty, both of which make me deeply uncomfortable. On topic: The Seewald living room isn't bad, but the bedroom is awful. Maybe Jessa is angling for new bedroom furniture altogether.
  17. JFC, Jill, if you want to wear nail polish, wear nail polish. If you don't want to wear nail polish, don't. Make up your mind! I'd be embarrassed to show a raggedy half-gone manicure like that on social media, or anywhere else.
  18. Maybe she's just trying to hold her gut up.
  19. Abby Johnson is a lying liar who lies. Aside from being a Catholic convert, she'd fit in well with the Duggars. https://slate.com/human-interest/2010/01/the-earth-shaking-abortion-that-never-happened.html https://www.texasmonthly.com/politics/the-convert/
