  1. I wonder what would happen if Hargitay was removed as a EP? Would she call it quits or would she like to see old quality like production, where the episodes would not revolve around her each week?
  2. There will have to be some controversy being a subordinate to Benson.
  3. Well, he has recently become a multi-millionaire, so maybe a lot of girls think they can find a deep spiritual connection that leads to an idyllic contentment
  4. I can see Hargitay with a Law & Order spin off, "Special Victim Files, where Benson and Benson work together to fight crime. It's her way to force out Ice-T. Since Robert Guillaume past away, she gets all the screen time.
  5. Haven't we seen a scenario like this before, straight out of a Columbo episode and the ending was just is like the last 10 minutes of an Matlock trial.
  6. Another reason to ask, is Benson a detective, an advocate, or a crisis counselor?
  7. I guess I missed or misunderstood a few of the moments from "Family Ties", so I am just glad I threw out there a preemptive apology. So let that be a lesson to all those that watch Law & Order, go to the bathroom before the show starts.
  8. I have to agree, but this is only a subjective and personal view on my part, so please don't take this as an insult to the Ukrainian people. The actions of the girl by killing the mother and severely injuring the father, trying to sell the baby to another couple for a lot more money, claiming she has PTSD, demanding 5 years instead of the offer of 15 years, and getting her demands if she gives up all rights to the baby. All these things tell me she is dishonest, greedy, conniving, and murderous. Yet she looks like a scared immigrant easily manipulated. A lot of mixed messages and I hope I didn't offend anyone.
  9. No, it's not you. It seem like there are maybe less scenes that are shot on locations with less extras. I didn't use a stop-watch or anything, but it seems like there is more time set aside for commercials, than what they had started with back in 1999.
  10. Isn't this how Serena was written out? She started to disagree, almost argue with her superiors, literally and philosophically, just like what Maroun is doing now. Will she be gone at the end of the season?
  11. Do you watch Law & Order SVU also? Because IMO, the writers from both shows have become a little sloppy. It seems like the executive producers give the writers a story line and the writes use weak excuses to validate the story line.
  12. I always heard the police don't need a search warrant for a crime scene, it doesn't violate the 4th amendment.
  13. I thought that one shrink that testified that the mother had PTSD was a defense shrink, where was the prosecution's shrink? Apparently Dick Wolf doesn't want to chip in for another shrink character.
  14. I can understand the girl suffering from PTSD and committing the crime and pleading mentally unstable, but Baxter wanted a conviction at first then would settle for 15 years for murder for some reason. Instead, they should have gone after that crooked lawyer, it would have been more entertaining.
  15. Did the judge agree with the defense here a lot? From excluding the bloody hammer to the change of plea w/o notification? Did it seem like the husband was more interested in getting the baby, then getting justice for his murdered wife? As traumatized as the mother said she is with (PTSD), you'd think she would definitely want take the 15 years than go back to Ukraine. Is she more conniving than we think, because she wants only 5 years?
  16. Since betting is legal now, you will probably get a lot of action on that outcome.
  17. I will be surprised if they don't put a little extra in for a followup episode where Noah wants to meet his grandmother (Brook Shields).
  18. During the episode a couple of the suspects were Debra Bradford and Quigley's partner, Charles Sistrom. For all the lawyers & law students who watched this episode, since Quigley was killed by a gov't employee, would Bradford and Sistrom get to collect the insurance on Quigley?
  19. Hargitay is going to want a major cut of the card, and the card will be as reliable as the quality of each episode, which will be hit and miss most of the time.
  20. Always like their banter. Munch with his conspiracy theories and Fin with his cynical responses, especially with his facial expressions
  21. I like Perry, but I don't watch it all the time, I just like watching the episodes I like to watch. Especially the ones where you see the side of these special characters as in the "Weary Watchdog". It's not the case itself, but at the beginning when Della asks Perry how far would he go for a friend. Watch Della's reaction the next time it comes on.
  22. Perry Mason apparently is becoming real popular, especially with my cable service and three networks that will carry this show. We all know that MeTV carries it twice, once in the morning and once at night, and the JUSTICE channel shows 4 consecutive episodes than repeats them late night. Now the GFAM channel will carry Perry Mason starting April 1st at around 2 pm
  23. I seem to remember that also, but there was that one episode that was like inserted between them where Fin and Munch worked a case that took them up to Canada and they had to deal with the "No capital punishment" there. Anyway it was nice having a Benson & Stabler episode one week and then a Munch & Fin episode the next. Too bad they don't do something like that now.
