  1. That was the season finale? Wow, that went fast. I could have used a few more episodes, maybe round it out to 16. Oh well, I'm sure there will be other things for me to waste my time watching. I guess I was the one who brought this up, so let me make this clear: It's not that I think the character thinks she sexy, I get the impression the actress thinks she's sexy, because of the acting choices she makes (all the little shimmying she does and such), and the situations and dialogue she writes into the show. She created the show, and presumably is one of the main writers. That said, I guess she is actually pretty hot, so I'm ready to let it drop. I don't get her problem with tank tops either, I guess we all have our little idiosyncracies. I don't like to see men's bare feet in sandals. I've heard of people objecting to tank tops around food before, but that's about it.
  2. This last episode was a sendoff of The Ghost and Mrs Muir. I wonder if we'll ever see the Captain again? It was funny how he was talking about how the body we take into the afterlife is the one we die with, and he let her know that if she lived too long and got too old he wouldn't be interested.
  3. Yikes, now they're doing plots from the movies on Schooled ("Romy and Michele"). I hope this doesn't become a habit. The Goldbergs disease has infected the spinoff. Kind of a weak episode, I thought. Didn't have an episode idea so they just did the movie thing. Nothing really stood out, although we did learn that Erica is still with Geoff, and apparently they're doing pretty well.
  4. When you get to be my age, everybody looks young. (Rmontro switches TV to Starz) 🙂
  5. That was one of my favorite TV superhero moments, for sure. For a split second, I thought Cicada was going to be Thawne, but it was quickly apparent it was Grace, because it was obviously a woman in the costume. Speaking of women, I recently read that Jessica Parker Kennedy, the actress who plays Nora, is 34 years old! I would have sworn that she was about 17 lol! In fact, I would occasionally feel kind of guilty for thinking she was kind of cute. I guess it was all right after all.
  6. Wow, she looks good for her age. No wonder Glassy is smitten with her. It's funny how he finally gets away from being Mr. Grumpy Puss, and they turn him into a creepster stalker type lol. I would have definitely been yelling "Hey! Bring those chocolates back. You can keep the flowers if you want".
  7. Someone better warn Bird, jumper sage is going to appear on the mountain suddenly, wielding a pair of pliers! I'll keep my eyes on the news. 😉 While you're there, you might tell her to go make friends with No-uh's wife. It's odd how she said she cares about him and doesn't want to see him taken advantage of. Sounds like Bird is suspicious of Rhain's motives. No-uh was also talking about how she's another mouth to feed (he even stole a duck from his brother). He also said one reason he was working so hard for the family was to convince everyone that it is better that they are there than if they are not. Sounds like there is some behind the scenes drama going on that we're not being given access to.
  8. It's cute the way Stuart is so invested in his role of caring for the children.
  9. I was also suspecting Shaun was going to ask out Claire, but I really can't see them together, so I'm glad it was Carly instead. Hilarious that he left with the chocolate and flowers. And I loved the look on Lea's face. All that discussion on here about Shaun's legal options, and Dr. Andrews resolves it for sentimental reasons, at least in part ("I'm not ready to move on"). At least they didn't end on a cliffhanger, thank God. Debbie looks about 40, and Dr. Glassman looks about 80. The way he dresses isn't helping him any either. Which is to say he dresses sharp, but he also looks like his attire is from another era.
  10. That is odd, you wouldn't expect a musician to give up her instrument. Maybe it's in a closet somewhere. I also just remembered Sheldon has that storage area where he keeps all his packrat stuff that he can't throw away. Maybe she's storing some stuff there, or has another unit. If Penny could afford that apartment on her waitress salary, Amy and Sheldon should have all sorts of disposable income.
  11. That's probably where they were at, if they were really hunting.
  12. Maybe they had a reverse yard sale like they did with all those cats Sheldon had, and gave people $20 each to take stuff off their hands.
  13. On the new episode they have Gabe modeling some clothes. They are kind of flabby (Noah especially), but the do appear to have some good upper body strength. You wonder how some of them got so fat living in the wild. I don't know why Bird doesn't fix her teeth, I've always theorized she has a phobia about the dentist. I was wondering about the logistics of getting that buffalo back, butchered, and stored. They said it was a 10 hour trip back to their mountain. I imagine they would have to pay someone to butcher it for them (I notice we didn't see any scenes of them doing it this time), and put it on ice to go home. Billy said the meat would last them three months. Noah built that mine cooler thing. I don't know how cold it gets in Washington during the winter, but I would think at some point it would be colder outside than the mine air would be. I'm pretty sure caves tend to stay at a consistent temperature year round, I'm guessing it would probably be in the 50s or 40s.
  14. I wonder what ever happened to that Tardis?
  15. Oh, I remember them. I'm old enough that I can go back to the '60s if you want. If Adam Goldberg was 20 years older, we'd be getting episodes based on The Munsters, Mr Ed, I Dream of Jeannie, and Gilligan's Island.
  16. That almost makes sense for a small town though. Orlando is much larger. I'm aware that if the bar is considered a restaurant, or at least part restaurant, minors can enter. That place just looked like a straight up bar to me though. It was also funny that Emery walked in, but the bouncer or whoever it was tried to stop Louis at the door. Presumably he recognized Louis as a regular, but why try to stop Louis? The whole thing was kind of odd.
  17. Yeah, minors aren't even allowed in bars where I'm from. Apparently they are in Orlando, but really, how many kids hang out in bars routinely? Seems very odd to me, but I guess this must be in the realm of somebody's experience. Anyone in the forum here spend a lot of time hanging out in bars on their own while they were growing up? We'd love to hear from you.
  18. Where was Jason Pohl this last episode, was he on vacation? Josh reminded me a lot of Jesse James when he was ranting about the "cake decorating" approach to building theme bikes. I have to agree with Senior though, the clients expect all these little details that relate to their products, even if some might consider them gaudy. Josh's bike looked good, but it didn't scream "paintball" to me, no matter what others said. Junior's Family Farms chopper was a better example, I thought.
  19. I've got to be honest, I would have gotten tired of that too. There was practically nothing they were allowed to buy under Bryan's rules. Which is kind of funny, because if you watch wrestling, Bryan is now a heel wrestler who shoves his environmentalism down everybody's throats. He's even replaced the WWE title belt with one made of hemp and "reclaimed oak". I can't disagree with many of your comments, but I still like Brie. Or at least I find both sisters more or less equally irritating. I agree Nikki has probably bested her in most things throughout their lives. But that just tells me that Nikki can afford to be a little more magnanimous in their interactions. Although they did point out that Brie was the first to win the Divas Championship (she has one WWE championship, Nikki has two).
  20. Nothing new under the sun. If you can't steal from Leave it to Beaver, who can you steal from? I doubt if many people remember that now. Yes, Jessica's still tiresome. Even when she makes a mistake, it's because she's "too good" at what she does. I didn't know kids could go into bars into Orlando, they sure can't here. Must be part of the tourist trade atmosphere. So Eddie's going to Taiwan? So that means he's either going to be missing on the show, we're going to be seeing him in scenes in Taiwan, or he's just supposedly going there while the show is on summer break. I've never played the Sims before, although I've thought of starting it a few times. As has been said, it looks like a big time waster. I didn't know people made little versions of their own family on there - it should have been obvious, really.
  21. Believe me, if it was a guy talking about how sexy he was all the time, I would get tired of it just as quickly, probably quicker. I don't recall any of those male comedians you mentioned spending copious amounts of time demonstrating how hot they think they are. Let me reiterate though, I like the show, I like Andrea, I just find this aspect of it distracting.
  22. Yeah, there was a little softness there, which was very unusual for Beverly. It doesn't make up for the rest of her parenting, but when you view it in the context of all her other scenes, this was a little touching.
  23. I don't know what else they could have set up for Howard and Bernadette outside of maybe having her start her own drug company or get divorced (and no one wants to see that).
  24. I thought they were going to play it for comedy. Leonard grew suspicious, then he would go over and grab the book and yell "Wait a minute, my mother wrote this!". Maybe it would even have his picture on the back (as a baby). Needy baby, greedy baby, lol.
  25. It's not abuse, because he realizes his limitations and knows it's for the best. He will be the first to tell you how impulsive he is. Like I said, it wouldn't work for me, but it does for them. If you're saying it's a red flag on him, that may well be, but he has other good points. He's a great father, for instance. Nobody's perfect.
