  1. Yep he came off to me as very clear that anyone not named Sam and Dean are rather expendable. Then again, even as a Cas fan, I've never bought the idea Cas / Misha have an automatic free pass until the end of the series like many fans seem to believe.
  2. Out of curiosity who on my list would you disagree with? Don't worry I'm not the type to easily take offence ;) . Also who would you class as your top 5 or top 10? Also I should add the disclaimer that I haven't seen many shows, so I'm sure there are many talented actors and actresses out there whose work I haven't seen. I'm only speaking from my own experience :)
  3. I figured this was the best place to put this! An earlier post I made got me thinking on some of my favourite actors and then I got curious on everyone else's. So which actor or actressses do you lot consider the most accomplished on television? I'm talking about their acting abilities so they could be a horrible person, but they're still good at their job LOL. Top 2 1. Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) 2. Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) For me these two are miles above everyone else! The pair of them don't just act, but they seem to quite literally become the character they are portraying! Top 5 3. Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) 4. Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time) 5. Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) Top 10 (in no particular order this time) Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) Misha Collins (Supernatural) Alyson Hannigan (Buffy) Gillian Anderson (X Files) Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones)
  4. You should try watching Orphan Black (if you haven't already). It's lead actress is very much like that also! Only she gets to show it off even more because she actually plays 4 of the main characters and a few recurring characters. It's a show about cloning, which is why she is able to play so many. A show with Tatiana Maslany and Jensen together would be my ideal! And I don't mean a romance, although I wouldn't be against that either. It wouldn't matter if they played siblings, enemies etc, as long as they spent lots of on screen time together haha

  6. I think Castiel could easily adapt to storylines without the involvement of heaven and hell! The most obvious being a permanent fall to human with his main personal arc exploring his adjustment to hunting as a human being. However, if I had to choose between a heaven and hell based storyline with Castiel, or the show moving on without him to non heaven and hell stuff! I'll pick the Castiel involved storyline every single time!

  8. Oh, I'm not denying that it looks bad! He really should have taken a minute to double check the correct accounts were linked. All I'm saying is that IMO his mistake was a result of carelessness rather than some sort of deliberate slight against Mark Sheppard.
  9. To be fair the person also got Mark Pellegrino's account wrong too. They accidentally went for a mispelt "pelligrino". So, I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Parks just wasn't good at using twitter and the only reason Jensen and Misha's accounts were correct is the fact their usernames are just their names with no underdashs etc. The only accounts that weren't straightforward were Jared's and Samantha Smith's. Yes, it's a bit silly of Kevin Parks to not double check the accounts, but I feel Mark has decided to find a personal slight where none was meant.

  11. I just saw this on Tumblr and WOW! I just saw this on Tumblr and OMG http://ibelieveinthelittletreetopper.tumblr.com/image/161515100958 Man the writers / prop team were really screaming out the name of the nephilim at us!
  12. I don't see what Deans speech being about Sam has to do with the point I'm making. Your original statement was that Mary's focus on whether Sam could forgive her or not was a sign that she wasn't seeing Dean. My reply was that Mary was likely fretting over Sam rather than Dean because Dean had just forgiven her. She knew she had his forgiveness. She didn't know whether she would have Sam's or not. Why would she fret more over the child whose forgiveness she had already received than the child whose forgiveness she wasn't sure of.
  13. OK then I'll change the word 'earned' to 'received'. My basic point still stands.
  14. Or, you know, she had already received the forgiveness of one son and knew the opportunity to build something was there, so her main worry was to then focus on the son whose forgiveness she felt was not guaranteed ;) ETA: Or what @DittyDotDot said.
  15. I actually agree that exploding dick opened a portal that Cas and Dean got caught up in was the explanation the writers were going for, or if it wasn't Sera's original intention, it was at least that's the angle Carver went for. However, IMO the exploding dick incidence is rather open to interpretation. It could just as easily be explained as the three of them died (all monsters go to purgatory upon death) and their close promixity to Dick meant their soul (Dean) and grace (Cas) went to purgatory rather than their natural destination. On the other hand, the Samifier incident is much more straight forward. The brothers used the horse men's rings to open a portal to Lucifer's cage and Sam jumped through said portal which closed shortly after. It was pretty much the same as Mary at the end of season 12 IMO. In regards to Cas and the soul split.... I've no idea! My head canon is Cas tried to move Sam back from the cage to our world, but the barriers around it stopped Sam's soul from travelling from world to world, and since hell is a spiritual dimension in general Lucifer was able to torture Sam in the same way Alastair tortured Dean in mainland Hell.
  16. IMO if Dean going to purgatory doesn't count as Dean being dead then Sam going in the cage shouldn't either. If I recall correctly, it's actually more clear cut in Sam's case. What we saw on screen was Sam jumping body and soul through a portal to another dimension i.e Hell. On the other hand, what we saw when Dick died was a massive explosion and then nothing remained of the three when its effects stopped. And this isn't intended to be bitch vs jerk. I'm just discussing my views on the two 'deaths'

  18. I'd be happy to PM a mod and ask them to rename the thread to something that encompasses all potential sexual issues such as sexuality, consent etc?
  19. I find the whole thing very strange if I'm honest. Unless Mark and Jensen have had some sort of spat in the past week (which I highly doubt) why didn't he just unfollow Jensen when he unfollowed Misha? I find it especially bizarre since he said at this weekends con he bears no ill will towards the cast only the poor writing.
  20. I hate not having access to a proper computer! So, based on posts in this thread, Mark has unfollowed Jensen as well as Misha, and @Geordiegirl1967 was commenting with outdated information as the unfollowing only happened yesterday?
  21. Has he definitely unfollowed Jensen then? My phone won't load the full list, I assume due to signal issues, but I know he was still following Jensen when I checked a week or two ago. Interesting that he chose to unfollow Jensen, but has continued to follow Jared.
  22. In regards to Twitter! Mark has also chosen to reply to a user commenting on a political tweet from Misha. Of course, it's only related to politics and nothing personal, but the fact he was happy to do so seems to imply there is no active desire to avoid potential interaction with Misha. I confess my knowledge of American Politics is limited at best, but I think he's agreeing with Misha. So he hasn't just replied for the sake of being argumentative either. https://mobile.twitter.com/Mark_Sheppard/status/871462706141741056 Between this and his liking of Misha's instagram posts there doesn't seem to be any amnosity from Mark towards Misha. Perhaps as @DittyDotDot said it was a mutual agreement. Since both are quite active maybe they agreed to unfollow the other due to a lack of interest in the topics the other likes to put up on Twitter. That seems more likely than it being some sort of pointe move due to the social media interaction I've mentioned.
  23. And Mark also referred to Misha as an "inspirational human being", which could again be seen as reaching out. I've said it before in the spoilers thread but the complete silence from J2M has been the most disappointing thing about all of this for me. @rue721 ETA: Mark also chose to reply to one of Misha's tweets sticking up for Misha's beliefs :)
