When my DH was dying in 1997, we lived up in the Sierras in CA. One dr hick town basically. We did have Visiting Nurses coming regularly, but when I ask our (jacka$$) dr about Hospice, his reply was we didn't need it because he had me!! WTF! It all fell on me and I was a physical and emotional wreck when he did pass one evening at home in my arms. Visiting Nurses had just arrived and helped me make the calls, it took me a long time to come back from that and Hospice would have helped me so much! Never went back to that dr., drove to another town to see a new one.
I’m so sorry you were not offered that option. 🧸

Every now and again I go on YouTube to watch them skate to Bolero. I’ve seldom seen an ice dancing routine that has moved me as much. Classic.

I empathize and also encountered a lot of these new Senior challenges on my trip as well. Unfortunately I was with a person who could go all day and it irked me that I had trouble keeping up. You were lucky that you could at least have some down time to recharge. I will definitely be changing my expectations next time I travel as it’s a part of my life I’m unwilling to give up yet. I’m glad at least you made it to your happy place 🧸

I’m on the coast and I can smell smoke. Usually ocean breezes keep our air quality good, but it can’t compete with these levels of pollution.

I have mixed feelings; especially after reading all of your posts. I cried at parts in the last episode. Not because they made me sad or overly happy. Somehow so much just seemed satisfying. I said so much. Not everything.

So many unanswered questions or just wrong answers tonight. I got a few TSs. Camry, carbon, 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and plexiglass. No FJ. So basically these past two nights have been duds for me.
I wonder if Mayim now thinks she shouldn’t have taken this job. She’s on and off. There is no consistency to her hosting. I agree with all of the previous posters about the BMS and missing wrong enunciations.-

I had a good game when I wasn’t getting annoyed by Mayim. I got conifers, the missed DD of John Steinbeck, calcium, Red Guard, Frankenstein, Gulf Stream, and FJ was an instaget.

I think all I got was 2/5. I’ll bring a nice 4 bean salad. (Chickpeas, red beans, green beans, wax beans, red onions, water chestnuts, celery and lots of parsley dressed with a light lemon vinaigrette) I’ll even put the black olives on the side for those of you who don’t enjoy them.

Another magnet collector here. I’m having a big piece of sheet metal (haven’t decided the shape yet) put into the hallway to my garage to display them on. I think they should make a Jeopardy magnet. I’d buy one.
I got the missed DD of John Glenn, 1040, 86, Bard of Avon and I was able to come up with FJ.

@Nysha How seeing and hearing the children beg for you to take them and running after your car must have hurt your heart. I’m so sorry you were put in this uncomfortable situation. I’m glad you reminded the children that they can report any abuse to their teacher. He sounds a bit…unsavory. I hope he leaves their lives soon and their mother changes her focus to the well being of your grandchildren rather than her love life.
