  1. I love your posts, lol.
  2. I have heard it said by many public figures now that we will have a "new normal" in the future. I'm not sure what that means, but I believe it to be true. I don't know if things will EVER go back to the way they were. I wish they could. But I think Covid has changed all that. They are TRYING to have football games and they keep getting cancelled or moved because of Covid. Schools open - and then they close. I read about a teacher who died as she was teaching class - just collapsed and died. I believe she was teaching a college class. I am getting used to seeing empty shelves in the stores. Getting used to not being able to find something I like - I THINK because it isn't being made any more. I am getting used to not touching anything when I am out of the house - I have a tool on my keychain that can open freezer doors or any doors that are no automatic, I take my own pen in case I need to sign something. I have been buying Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas masks because I don't see any end in sight to wearing masks. I am getting used to wondering if I am coming down with Covid every time I cough because of the smoke in the air because of the fires, or if I get a headache or a runny nose - maybe from Fall allergies. Colds didn't leave just because of Covid - but I can't help wondering if it's Covid every time I don't feel good. I am getting used to many people rushing through the stores - sometimes where it seems like almost EVERYONE is unfriendly, when in reality they probably want to maintain social distance and get the heck home. I am getting used to seeing my favorite restaurants remain closed - and I highly doubt they will ever open up again. I have eaten out a few times and it was extremely uncomfortable, the service was lousy EVERY time (probably because they are understaffed) and the food isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I am getting used to worrying a lot of the time... about finances, about Covid, about my kids, about our society. I think that with 214,000 people dead just in the United States in only 6 months (over a million people have died worldwide) - what would have happened if we hadn't closed down, worn masks and (a lot of us) maintained social distance? If life had gone on as normal, how many people would have died then? And how can we have "herd immunity" when the virus mutates and people catch it a second time? I am queen of gloom and doom these days, I guess. 😞
  3. Not these two, but I've seen a few of those movies. But it's still different. You used to have these main headliner stars who did a bunch of movies.... and those days seem gone. Did you ever see the movie "Truly, Madly, Deeply"?
  4. No, lol. I have seen Orlando and Hugh - I know their movies. I'm talking about all of the other guys. I think he's cute! LOL Me, too. And I've seen him sometimes where he was downright handsome! Brad Pitt in Meet Joe Black. Tom Cruise, although I personally think he's a weirdo and I have zero respect for him regarding his attitude towards Suri after his divorce. Sean Connery had his moments.
  5. I know Orlando and Hugh. What are some of the movies they star in? Maybe that's the problem. They are in the types of movies I don't watch!
  6. They don't make 'em like that any more. Just like movie stars. Back in the day there were these REALLY good looking actors - who are either dead now, or aging. Who is there nowadays? ????
  7. Probably the same two. Meri's competition had two people? Wow... that was an amazing SUCCESS!
  8. Right? There was nothing but crickets afterwards!

So in other words..... Kody Jr.
  10. I'm going to be rude here. Not that I am not often rude, but ruder than usual. It has been my experience that it is quite common for men with multiple wives to show favoritism towards certain children, while, if not ignoring some of the other children, certainly giving very little attention to them. Maybe when starting out with a few kids they get equal love and attention, but as the years go by and the number of kids multiplies - yeah. To make it easier to understand, imagine an animal hoarder. You can't give equal attention to 20 pets (especially if some of them demand very little attention) and still do everything you need to accomplish during the day. And if you can do that or you know people who have tons of pets and manage to do so - that's awesome. I was just trying to put it into perspective to help people understand... and I'm just speaking of every polygamist family I can think of - and that equal attention and affection for the entire brood isn't the norm.
  11. You forgot to add in all of the kids by any wife other than Robyn that Kody doesn't give two poops about. They're probably miserable at times, too.
  12. Nah. There was NEVER going to be a poly-palace. They couldn't afford to bring utilities to the property, first of all. Secondly, the legal wife has custody of the twit - and since she calls all of the shots, why would she share him NOW? She's the one and only, getting the majority of income, sleeping until noon, and basically doing nothing to support herself and kids because... well.. she is SPECIAL, don't you know. That was totally for TLC's benefit, and nothing else.
  13. That is Robyn in 20 years? She looks exactly like that right now.

The picture of the wives behind Kody cracks me up. Except Robyn needs a huge, square chin. **Note the butt ugly Lularoe leggings that Meri is wearing! ha ha ha ha ha ha!
  15. Kody: "Ysabel? Um.... which one is that? Oh yeah... one of Christine's daughters. Well Ariella wants to have a tea party tomorrow with me and I have to be at home to spoon feed her meals and tuck her into bed."
  16. This was the comment I saw: sjd490 Kody should be there for her no excuses. Robyns kids dont need him that badly and it is absolutely disgusting he wont put his own daughter first who is going through major surgery. Shitty dad of the year award goes to kody for multiple reasons.
  17. This just brought back memories for me! I went to Disneyland for my birthday 50 years ago and had a Monte Christo in a restaurant there. 🙂. It wasn't a Monte Christo..... but I have to say that the last time my kids and I went to Disneyland (which was YEARS ago) the food was pricey but REALLY GOOD! I didn't expect the food to be as delicious as it was, coming from a Theme Park.
  18. Credit given where credit's due. Janelle is the only one of the adults that speaks with clear, crisp diction and she also seems to organize her thoughts before she speaks. The NOM NOM NOM drives me batty though, makes me think of a pig at a trough. But that doesn't have anything to do with being educated. That is more a matter of emulating those who raise you.
  19. Hom skoolens ben gud to me I lernt lots
  20. Still - we get a box of whatever they put into the box. You never know what you are going to get - and that was years before Covid. I'm just thinking that maybe that's something new THERE - but it's definitely not something they are doing HERE because of Covid.
  21. I don't know if she has or hasn't, but it most CERTAINLY is not something new because of Covid. Farmers in our state have been doing that for YEARS.
  22. Right? Because some jobs come with.... wait for it.... BENEFITS! Like health insurance! 😄
  23. Make up a name. "And the winner IS......:::::Drum roll:::::: SANDY CLAUS! She wins a two night stay at Lizzie's, a new 2020 fully loaded BMW and a package of Twizzlers!" "The first runner-up is Sam Sung! He will receive two handmade POT HOLDERS!" No one is the wiser. ::snort::
