O.k., that was awesome. I found most of the past two seasons to be a trudging bore, but when this show decides to unleash, it does it as well as anything we've ever seen on TV. --The Sept goes BOOM!! scene was cinematic as they come. It is the best single scene I can recall ever seeing on TV. Every part of it was perfect from the music, the design, the editing. Everything. --Agree w/ the Lyanna Mormont love. About 5 minutes of screen time, and she is already one of my favorites. --We had, what?, 9 legit/important characters die in this episode? Amazing. So we'll get something like 12 more total episodes through the series finale, I'm guessing. It's gonna be a hell of a ride these next two half-seasons (I'm basing this totally off assumptions I'm making).

That was disappointing. The joke scene w/ Tyrion/Missandei/Grey Worm was a head-scratcher for me. Arya's journey has been a waste for me, beyond learning some stealth skills, I suppose. Whatever. None of the nerd theories I read over the past week about who was actually stabbed had a shred of legitimacy, LOL. Bringing back Black Fish so he'd die off-screen? Ehh...

I'd hate watch this show except for the fact that watching kids dancing just squicks me out. *Hopefully, it goes w/out saying that his is a personal reaction, not something that I think is universal. I'm assuming SYTYCD w/ adult dancers is gone forever.

--Tommen's voice....bugs the ever-living shit out of me. Kill him soon, so I don't have to listen to him any more. Plus he's stupid & worthless anyway. I don't see the point of him any more. --Like many others, I don't care for the Sam/Gilly stuff, at all. Still, it was cool to see him take the family sword. --I need to see the High Sparrow & his followers killed soon. --Arya finally doing something beyond allowing herself to be abused is nice. Her SL used to be one of my favorites, but the whole Bravos/Jaquen thing has kinda underwhelmed me. I want to see her back in Westeros, taking her vengeance. --Is Dany displaying her inheritance of the family crazy gene? Is she just totally losing her shit? That smile she had when she was shit-talking (again, :yawn:) to her horde...it was a bit off-putting.

I'm sorry, I just can't watch stuff w/ children front & center. It just gives me icky feelings of exploitation. Plus kids in entertainment tend to just bug me anyway. I'm not even tempted to view clips. If the show ever comes back in its prior form, I'll be back.

This show....I mean....ugh. --JMO, but two cousins forced to be each other's companion for prom have more heat between them than Iris & Barry. Obviously, YMMV, but that pairing is a big zero to me, beyond the friendship and SIBLING bond. --I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this forum since the season finale last season, mostly because I just am not overly invested in this show. Barry being stupid is the primary reason for that. Sorry, but his stupid/selfish acts largely nullify the good that he is portrayed doing. My heroes need to be more than a net result of "welp...gotta take the bad w/ the good, I guess." --I need to whittle down my tv viewing to higher quality. I already quit Arrow (awful, awful writing) & The 100; I never bothered w/ LoT. Guess I should just wipe the slate clean, quit this show, and finally acknowledge I don't fit the CW's demo.

I also LOL'd that all the Kingsmoot speeches acknowledged what giant losers the people of Pyke have been Then they "elect" Euron Trump to be their leader.

Was anyone else taken aback by Varys' open hostility to the Rachel Weisz clone/red priestess? He's normally so composed & cards-close-to-the-vest in those types of situations.

It was cool to see Lexa get a decent send-off, and while predictable/actually predicted, I got a small sense of closure, though the whole Bellamy storyline still bugs the fuck out of me. Goodbye show. I just won't be spending anymore time w/ you; I have zero trust it will be time well spent. I wish the actors well on their next gigs.

The Sansa & Jon reunion actually pried open my cold, dead heart. Go get some Tormund, Brienne. Might as well try to stay warm during the long winter.

I hope the Lannisters & Sparrows kill each other. Can't root for Cersei, but I also despise religious zealotry in all forms. Where you going, Jon Snow? As others have mentioned, I hope the show doesn't once again fall into the rut of all talk, no action for the next several episodes.

We knew Jon Snow was going to be resurrected, but I still let out a "fuck yes!!!" when he took that deep inhale & opened his eyes. There was still tension during Melisandre's ritual. I'm amazed how my perspective about various characters is so changed. I care about Bran's story and am now totally fatigued by Arya's

I finally watched this late last night, after spending some time bargaining w/ myself over whether I would watch or simply walk away from the show for good. I'm making no effort to be articulate... --what's w/ all the questioning about the horse? LOL. This show can't even handle human characters in palatable ways. The last thing I expect this crew to address is a horse. --I find the whole CoL plot beyond lame, at least in its execution. Too many illogical things to enumerate, and it'd be ad nauseum anyway. --Clarke really is just a prop now, isn't she? Her only role now is to prop-up others. Sad. She used to be such a compelling character. --It's been a while since I've wanted a main character to die as badly as I want Bellamy to die. I know it it's not gonna happen, but I want what I want. --Ontari, as written since she slaughtered the other nightbloods @ conclave, is pointless. --I'm struggling to find anything that I actually enjoy about this show anymore. Rothenberg has already given show watchers the middle finger multiple times, so I'm not sure what can be reasonably expected. Truly, what's the point of watching anymore? That's what I've been asking myself.

This show just gives me zero tension, other than the temptation I feel to throw something at my TV while watching it's boring characters do/say stupid things. TWD has annoyed me many, many times, but at least that ensemble has several characters whom I find compelling. FTWD is occupied by a bunch of mannequins.

Taking this crap show off my DVR recording list. A show with so many characters should have more than one that I find compelling. This is not such a show.

I only hate-watch this show now, but OMFG....the show went above & beyond to hammer into watchers' heads that LL is dead, never to return. I actually audibly laughed at how hard they were hammering that point home. For them to feel the need to do so for a character that should've been loved...tells me all one would need to know about TPTB.

I struggle with this too, but I always end up cheering against religious zealotry, so the High Sparrow & his sheeple can take a dive off a high cliff for all I care.

I seriously LOL'd at that. To the point that I was taken out of the scene, tbh. Hahahaha

Such a massive disappointment this season... I'm not sure how much longer I'll be spending time w/ this show, especially with the really nice weather these days.

So much this... Mary Sarah has been very disappointing; I was really interested in her after BA, but I'm not so invested that I can't she that she has failed to deliver the goods since then.

Screw this show. Stupid ass me decided to binge watch this season after swearing it off last summer. I despised LL/BC as a character, but even her death couldn't be done well. MG & his gang are awful; I am shocked this show still gets the ratings that it does. I blame myself for wasting the time.
