I really like that the OG kids are friends as well as siblings and are willing to be vulnerable with each other. They grew up so well.

Kody is the only dad the OG kids have, and I think they kept trying to have a relationship because he's DAD. But Kody screwed that up when Robyn and the Robynettes joined the family because he had no time for them anymore. Dumb ass.

Gabe looks to be hurting. He's very quiet.

We saw it a lot when the spouse had already died and the family - and often the deceased - wanted something quieter. We also did a lot of those services during Covid. A funeral doesn't really cost very much as far as the church is concerned. It's the funeral home and cemetery costs that multiply like rabbits.

I'm a retired church secretary (non Mormon). Our understanding of the difference was that there were three different things: Funeral with a body present, Memorial service without a body present, and Graveside service with burial.

I had my angiogram yesterday, and guess what? They found nothing wrong! I was expecting to get a stent and have my bariatric surgery postponed for at least 6 months. Instead, I got cardiac clearance and can go ahead with planning for the next big thing. Thanks for your support and prayers!

Michelle didn't have to add it - it was understood by everyone to be the second part of that sentence. Not sure Kody would have gotten it, though.

I think Autumnal was the color scheme. If not, I'm deciding that it should have been because the outfits were very cohesive indeed :)

Someone posted on one of the threads - maybe this one - that Gwen was there for some of the pre-wedding things, so she didn't abandon ship completely. I support her doing what she could do and if that meant staying clear of Paedon, good for her. Christine understands. That said, it's quite an impressive gathering of siblings from the 3 OG moms. Which says a lot for their real family - each other and the moms. No Kody, no Robyn or the Robynettes.

I think the why is that she was experimenting to see what it would be like and how she would feel to have his undivided attention for a little while. And I also think she got what she wanted - confirmation that this wasn't going to work. And a nice dinner, but that was a bonus, not the goal.

At first I thought Meri would tell her, but nah. She doesn't care about Janelle to tell her, and would rather she figured it out herself. I wonder if Janelle noticed on their date and if she did, if she just kept it to herself and didn't make a big scene about it. But removing your polygamist wedding ring is a big sign that you don't care about any of the wives who wore only that same ring. Sobbyn, of course, is special. Blech.

Next week we have a conversation with the kids. Now THAT I want to see.

Sometimes you have to do one of those get back together things to see if you really want to stay separated. Janelle is there. Kody isn't - the opposite of things with Meri.
