S18.E10: Don't Put All of Your Eggs in One Basket
altopower replied to Scarlett45's topic in Sister Wives
Which is exactly what she said when she was back in her own home being filmed. I was right there with her, though I do understand that Janelle is working through her own steps to end things completely. Christine took years to get to that point. -
S18.E10: Don't Put All of Your Eggs in One Basket

The LDS church isn't actually Christian. They define THEMSELVES as being within Christianity and most Mormons identify themselves as "Christian" but the theology is different. The LDS church rejects the ecumenical creeds and the doctrine of the Trinity, which is pretty central. Honestly, I don't understand most of what they do believe, but it's clearly not the same as my church (Episcopal), which is very mainstream. Which could explain why different families have adopted different traditions, such as observing Passover but not Resurrection Sunday. Kody has always been weird. No wonder the Browns don't really understand what they're doing religion-wise. -
Night, y'all. Let's see what month we're in next week!
-
Kody - you're not talking to Janelle and you're monogamously married to Robyn. Why would you think she would want to stay married to you? You're an ass.
-
Janelle is a convert to the religion and she really believes in it. And Christine, you need to let her be ready to have another relationship even if you don't for yourself.
-
Controlled environment, absolutely. But I'm not at all sure how strictly religious any of them are.
-
Did Kody just smile with his teeth?? I can't remember when he did that last.
-
How many more episodes do we have left of this season? We're apparently watching Janelle and Meri move closer to ending their marriages with Kody, who is already married to the love of his life. I hope we're getting there soon because so far this is pretty boring unless the OG kids are on screen.
-
Wow. We did Easter and July in one episode!
-
Christine and Janelle aren't going to separate. They've formed a family with their kids. And they're not cutting each other off so Janelle can reconcile with Kody when she doesn't want to do it in the first place.
-
I miss the days when they actually did things and didn't just sit around talking about each other and how the marriages are going or not, and why the kids are so distant, and what the ratings are for the show, and how much money they're getting. Oh wait, some of that is during our commercials.
-
Kody doesn't care if you walk away. Robyn knows that. So why is she pushing Meri to stay and stay and stay and live in the Barndominium?
-
Robyn wants Meri to just stick around after she's already done it for YEARS. I am so over Robyn.
-
You know, we can write this stuff even without seeing anything on the screen because it is so repetitive. Christine will look happy. Janelle will have big smiles. Robyn will dry-cry. Kody will shake his curly locks, frown and look all stressed out with the cold dead eyes. Someone will go to that one restaurant that lets them film and they'll say confusing things to each other. The end.
-
He doesn't care. He just needs to get his own opinion/slant/perspective/position out while he has a camera focused on him.
-
Janelle and Christine are making new traditions without Kody for themselves and their kids. And I love it.
-
Wait, are we going backwards to Easter? I thought we did Janelle's b'day in May already. Well, Kody. Celebrating Easter = Celebrating the Resurrection. They're kinda the same. The Easter Bunny and hiding eggs isn't in the Bible at all, remember?

Oh boy! Another night of fun and games with the crazy Browns/Wooleys.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!

It's hard to figure out the real time line of things with these yahoos. -
Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!

I don't like Robyn or the Robynettes but yeah, Kody has been devolving. All the wives have noticed and talked about it. It's not all about Christine leaving him, much as he blames EVERYTHING on that. He was marginally a father to the OG kids in Las Vegas, but the move to Flagstaff and then the Covid separation of the households really did a number on him. And, of course, on a many of the family relationships. The older OG kids grew up without Kody and they turned out great with the support of the moms. Kody cannot STAND that. His world is unraveling and he doesn't know how to deal with it except to get more rigid and demanding which isn't working. I just know I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Kody these days. Or those days, since they're so far behind in showing us stuff. -
Not to mention his corkscrew curls.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
altopower replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I completely agree with this part. I also agree. But I also think we don't need to know. Gwen is dealing with it in appropriate ways. I hope she's getting good practical therapy (no Nancy from LV) that will help her in ways we don't need to see. I just want her to be whole and happy. That therapy will take years. -
My version still does. AdBlock is the only Chrome extension I have and I'm grateful every day I use it. I subscribe to sites I really care about and that I think provide value that I enjoy, but I love not having ads pop up and intrude all over.

Maybe because the youngest 2 siblings are still minors and their mom would be shopping for them to find gifts? Thinking as Robyn, mind you, which hurts my head and heart.
-
They actually DO have recourse now -- Leave! Do we know why they're still living with Kody and Robyn other than to be part of the filming, which they really aren't very much? Get an apartment together or with friends and just get to breathe without the parents always there. Oh wait, Robyn controls everything they do and say so no moving out for them while the OG kids are pretty much expected to move on (and are doing it well). It's one thing for us to say their dad doesn't give a rat's behind about them. We're impartial (okay, not so much coz we all hate Kody) observers. But it's awful for the kids to understand that their dad doesn't care at all about them. On the other hand, it would be worse if they were still hanging on in hopes they could do something that would make Kody care. Wait, that sounds like Meri.
