  1. If they can bring back Nic, why the heck can't they bring back Boz.
  2. WHOA. Did she actually pull THE uniform shorts out on her dining room table??? There must've been different rules back in the olden days., lol.
  3. Ditto. I've heard a lot of chatter from trustworthy sources on her quitting and there's no mention of mom's input. Of course, a mom is going to stick up for her daughter so that's no surprise. Mom may've encouraged her to quit just to get her back home and away from the Evil Big City. It still falls back on Holly though, to take the mature route and do what's right for her
  4. I don't know which was shinier, Raylynn's boots or her makeup.
  5. If she were to see comments made here I hardly think she'd be surprised. Hurt, maybe. Disgusted, probably. Pissed off, definitely Unfortunately though, this is what happens when you live your life on social media and appear on reality tv. She's an incredible dancer, but she's also a showboat, and she has no qualm's about using social media to her advantage by promoting her choreo business, strategically showing her big expensive trinkets or little girl cleavage. Or even when she uses it to throw shade at former employers and friends with passive aggressive posts. The internet isn't all kitten farts and rainbows and you can't just use it to your advantage and avoid getting bit. I will say, the comments about her mom, IMO are unwarranted. Her mom wasn't on the show and we've never even seen her interact with Holly, so I don't get where that hate comes from. Holly screwed up enough on her own, she didn't need momma's help for that. As for Jenna, she screwed up. Alot. But I'd like to think she had an epiphany and realized she had one boot out the door and the other on a banana peel, so she better figure out what was important to her. She took the discipline like a grown woman, apologized to her teammates and did what was asked of her. There's no embarrassment in realizing you need to 'self check' as Holly said. What's ironic is that it appears that Jenna did check herself, while Holly just turned chicken and checked out.
  6. The tall LSU girl who was packing with her mom? She didn't make it to camp. She should've made it over Christina IMO. It appeared that she has more raw talent and skills and would've been a successful 'project' girl.
  7. That would be an interesting twist that they changed their mind from just grounding her from the HOF trip to dumping her altogether and called her to tell her. I don't know how well that fits in with what others have said though, about everyone still expecting her at practice and wondering where she was? Were K&J looking for her that practice? Was Jenna? Or did K&J just carry on with reblocking, choosing new point, etc without showing any concern for the absence? @UnicornKicks any insight? I wholeheartedly agree that Charlotte would've booted her without a 2nd thought had she been in that meeting (can you imagine how that would've went?!?! holy cow). I think Holly gave the contract as much consideration as she thought it merited, given the inconsistency of how it's been applied in the past. She was wrong in every way if you go by the contract, but she thought she had built-in forgiveness because she's Holly and she's extra.
  8. Amen. I think the biggest reason MR was put on the show was because of her DWTS experience, not because of her skill as a cheerleader. You have to admit that after being humiliated on national TV, she definitely played to that audience well. She obviously loves being in front of the camera and manages to land jobs (and lose them) as being a quasi-reporter, I don't know...I kind of see the half-witted logic in bringing her on to help girls with showmanship. She's *not* a choreographer though and she needs to STHU and stay in her box when it comes to critiquing dance technique. *Mean girl alert*: I'd also venture to say she needs to lay off the lip-filler. Girl is naturally very pretty but add that joker smile and tan-wrecked skin together & the girl looks 40 yrs old. when she's made up. #sorrynotsorry IMO and as they say, I'm entitled to it. I'm curious if the DCRB rank in the list?
  9. I agree with you about Taryn! From what we've seen on the show Taryn's performance and look is far better than Christina's. I like Christina so I feel a tad guilty saying that, but Taryn's attitude ,her work ethic, and just how she carries herself is DCC-worthy. She gets called on the carpet over kicks, which had to be nerve-wracking as hell, and she still was able to speak coherently. That girl is more polished and presentable than a couple of rookies (hello Gina) and even a vet or two who can't complete a sentence without saying 'like' or 'um' about 10 times. I think Kelli missed out by not taking her on.
  10. From what I've gathered from various sources, Erica broke contract on company time, used social media to brag about doing it, and when confronted with evidence lied through her teeth. Kelli and Judy, being tired of girls who don't have the commonsense to NOT GET CAUGHT, gave her the boot. There are other rumors swirling about actions she's taken to not get any of this shown on the show, but from what I heard from someone yesterday CMT/DCC are still debating on whether they should show it or not. The reaction from the public to CMT airing Holly and Jenna's situations has supposedly encouraged TPTB. I will say this... if even HALF of what I've heard is true, this girl has some major cojones. This sweet, bible-quoting young lady takes no prisoners when she's pissed off.
  11. I've wondered about the alumna events too. Have past cut vets like Carmen Butler, Leah Mullinax, Jasmine, Teri or Colin come back? What about Jennifer McMahon who was supposedly partying past curfew on the calendar shoot and was released. Do they only invite vets who retired voluntarily?
  12. You didn't deserve getting chewed out because her friend bought Erica's story. The only 'more' is that Erica pushed her luck and lied to 2 women who were tired of being lied to by rule breakers.
  13. I'm thinking this is more due to the fact that Holly's fanbase is a helluva lot stronger than Jenna's. People were having virtual meltdowns on social media over "where's Holly?" "no Holly I'm not a fan". They showed that meeting partly because of how it turned out (Holly ghosted), and partly because they wanted to show that it's Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, not Holly and the DCC. Kelli even leaned back at one point and said something like 'we've cut great dancers before, and we'll do it again'. I thought Jenna said she did tell Holly she shouldn't be doing some of the things she was doing. I wasn't #teamjenna before this episode, but seeing how she handled herself when being placed in a crappy position, I have a tiny bit more respect for her. She's definitely screwed up, but as someone else mentioned, she went into self-preservation mode and *seems to have stepped up since this happened. This is exactly what I was saying a few pages back. They've been so inconsistent with who they hold to the rules, and the way they discipline their employees, that Jenna apparently rolled the dice. Holly and Jenna are the only ones to blame for their choices, but Kelli & Judy haven't exactly laid down the law across the board up to this point. It's been more like holding their hands over their ears and shouting "lalalalalalalala I can't hear youuuu" when the info HAS come to them. Jenna being around 6 yrs has seen this from them before, so she probably (mistakenly) thought she could get by. EXACTLY. If the DCC are such a successful business, then address behavioral issues like a successful business would. Apply the policies evenly, communicate openly and frequently, and have an open door policy that doesn't shoot the messenger if it's bad news. Lastly, if you keep hearing whispers about someone falling off the proverbial wagon, don't rely on the peer pressure of 18 to 20-something yr old girls to help manage the issues!!! I mean really...am I the only person here who did stupid stuff in my early 20s and had friends on the sidelines cheering me on and offering to pay my bail??
  14. IIRC Shelly said team photo was supposed to be 8/22. Anyone know the date Erica was cut?
  15. Yep. To all of it. I don't think anyone disagrees. I'd even guess that some of us are asking the same questions about how Holly couldn't know she was pushing her luck, and have drawn the same conclusion that she didn't think they'd cut her. My own guess is it's because they're inconsistent in how they apply policy. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
  16. Jenna looks like a little girl getting grounded. Holly is upset but you can see the defiance there. That girl is a fighter lol.
  17. Actually, I'm thinking there's going to be a bloodbath for vets next year. You'll have the one and done's who didn't get the memo they were done still trying out. You'll have the vets who change their mind at the very last minute. You'll have the ones from other teams who get edited to sound like they were slumming before realizing their Life Long Dreaaammm. <insert hopeful sigh here> Then last but not least will be the project girls that Kelli sees potential in, while Judy bites her tongue in half trying not to scream "WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR PETES SAKE!!! THE GIRL CAN'T FRIGGIN DANCE!!!" at Kelli and Charlotte. The turnover alone will be popcorn-worthy.
  18. Bailey came on here with info and Shelly most likely saw it, and as a member of the DC organization reported it. If Bailey's post was the only report they received on that one instance, who knows. At this point I think if it wasn't Bailey's post it could've been someone else's because Holly was busy being Holly & would have tripped up eventually. Just saw yes..no.. maybe wasnt directed to me, lol, but still. As for Zeke, I agree and am not surprised in the least he's still around. Like I've said before, players bring in the $$$ & that's all Jerry cares about. The minute Zeke causes more trouble than he's worth? Jerry will punt his butt out on the street and let someone else pickup the headaches. Kind of like Kelli did with Holly & Erica. The minute you become a liability instead of an asset, you're done.
  19. Oh I bet that might even merit it's very own slide.
  20. I agree. They've been dealing with this stuff since the 70s. Wasn't there a cheerleader who married a player once they were both done with the Cowboys? I'm not seeing where any of them are being slut shamed. They made choices to hookup with guys they wanted to hookup with, and good for them for knowing what/who they want. Would anyone else who was a DCC have made the same choices? Maybe (probably) not. In my personal opinion, the frustration comes from the fact that these girls worked their butts off to get on this team. They dreamed, they practiced, and they achieved something that a few hundred others would've given their left arm for. They get experiences being part of the organization that they wouldn't get if they were the normal, every day partying 20 yr olds. Then they make choices to break the rules and risk what they've worked, sacrificed, and starved for. I get partying and having fun - more power to them. But damn.... as my mother always told me, if you're grown enough to break the rules, don't get caught, and if you are caught, be grown enough to accept the consequences. To my original post upthread, the sad part is that the consequences seem to vary on which 20yr old you are. This^^ :clapping: Paige did get cut in the end when she admitted the relationship, but, yes, I agree with you on Zeke. The fact that Zeke's butt still wears a Cowboys jersey is testament to the hypocrisy that flows through that organization. I've always thought they hold the DCC to far higher standards than they do the players, but the players are who makes Jerry all that money. Jerry Jones has never met a double standard that he couldn't use to his benefit. (or a young groupie either judging by some of the sleazy pics on this very board).
  21. Yep. I quit following Holly's IG because she's just gotten ridiculous with all this free time on her hands. DO SOMETHING besides post selfies in your car, or last season pics in a uniform you chose to walk away from. There are other girls that actually get involved in something, whether it's their work, community service, family, and those posts are far more attractive than anything Holly has posted since the end of July. Maddie is just one example - girl went down to Houston with her church to help rebuild. She doesn't cause any drama anyone has heard of, is on SG, and gets stuck in the 3rd row for the squad pic. Lacey is another one, as is Robin, Maggie and Kelli S. The ones that do their job and do it well seem to get overlooked.
  22. Quitting the team doesn't seem to have stopped her from being opportunistic & using their pics and "DCC Cheerleader" in either her website or IG though. She apparently still finds the claim to fame useful, lol. Someone asked why they didn't release her last year when they knew she was fraternizing. I'm going to guess because A)she had been friends with Sam, and Kelli may have been trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, and/or b) she never really had proof of what happened presented in a public forum AND have it involve the trashiest, nastiest, most legally-challenged player on the team. In any event, as much as I admire what Kelli's done in 20+ yrs for the DCC, this whole situation smacks of hypocrisy. They DO pick and choose who they hold to the contract, who they discipline for violations, and who they release. I'll be the first to admit, they're going to run the team however they see fit, but situations like this is probably why Holly, Jenna, & Erica thought they could get away with their behavior. They were told they were 'rockstars' and were on showgroup after all. - Holly knows Jenna's hooking up with Dak because J's doing everything but printing the wedding invitations & shouting it from the top of the Star...so Holly the 'famous' cheerleader hooks up with the 'infamous' player. - Jenna hooks up with Dak because well... Paige, Sydney, Brooke.... etc etc. - Erica thinks she can slip into street clothes and go have a brew in the stands, knowing full well what the rules were, but hey, she's Erica and she's an injured, bored vet - what Kelli doesn't know won't hurt her. I'm *not* saying that excuses the 3 mouseketeers poor choices, but c'mon... they all had reason to believe they'd get away with it because there's almost zero consistency on who's held accountable. Hell if there was consistency Yuko would've been told See Ya when she had to leave training camp to handle her Visa. Anyways, I'll close this rant with this: while the rule breakers brought it on themselves, Kelli put them, herself, and the team in that situation by not applying rules consistently across the board. I feel bad for her in a way; I think she expects that the girls will reciprocate the chances she gives them by keeping their noses clean, and all they do is laugh all the way to the bar.
  23. That's one way to put it, lol. I hope they show the cut anyways. I would hope that after Amy Reese, that CMT & the Cowboys lawyers tightened up the contract to cover themselves in these situations. She broke contract; I can't imagine any defense she could bring that CMT & the Cowboys couldn't shred.
  24. Maybe Mallory at DMD might take her just because I think she seems to like taking in DCC refugees. Outside of Dallas, unless she has connections, dance directors are probably more like "Holly who?"
