  1. I don't disagree. They're definitely lacking in upper year vets to act as role models. So far though, it looks like the 2-3s are doing okay. :crossing fingers:
  2. I'm not saying they don't. In Courtney's situation that was not the case.
  3. An addiction is an addiction, yes, but I disagree with the better or worse aspect. IMO the implication was that she could've been getting illegal drugs from a bad crowd. She wasn't doing anything illegal; if anything her doctor failed her by giving her legal meds without proper monitoring. Courtney has come out on the otherside of that time of her life, and I'd hate for an old, inaccurate rumor to get new life.
  4. See above. She had an addiction to a prescription med. No drug problem or bad crowds. Sydney's watch? Who do you think Jenna and the rest learned from, lol? Another worst kept secret in Dallas. Sydney was notorious for breaking rules but she was SMART enough to do it and not get caught. K & J were never given indisputable evidence on Syd that they could act on. The new crew weren't that smart. The only reason the women get punished (besides the fact Jerry Jones hasn't met a double standard he doesn't practice) is because the players put butts in those overpriced seats at ATT stadium. Cheerleaders are window dressing and only add a small percentage to the DC organization. Holly's hookup with Zeke, and the 3 mouseketeers drinking, risks bad publicity. Because of the bad PR that they fight due to players off-field antics, they don't need more to deal with because of an easily replaceable cheerleader. THANK YOU for this. Erica has no one to blame but herself and her arrogance that she was immune to the rules. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. K & J found out because the rule breakers had no consideration for anyone other than themselves. They didn't break the rules and even try to hide it; they did things in public, or in apts shared with *teammates, or shared the evidence with the damn internet. They put their teammates in a position of 'lie and lose your job, or tell the truth and take the discipline'. These girls seem to be so sweet and innocent to viewers outside of the Dallas area, and I won't deny for a second that they're extremely talented., but the truth about the attitudes and activities is widely-known in DFW. I'm glad that my mistakes weren't fodder for the internet, but I also didn't advertise them either lol. It's sad because you'd almost rather NOT have the image ruined by learning the truth. The truth though, is that they overestimated their worth to the organization and they learned a sad lesson in the end.
  5. Gina needs to put down the trophies a bit and take lessons in humility rather than dance. She came off extremely arrogant and insincere. I still think she looks like the poor man's Paris Hilton with that brashy blonde hair. Celinda, poor girl. Time to move on and find another dream to live for and think about every minute. Love Keyra and KaShara. Alexandria's eyelashes looked like a throwback to the 60s. The guest choreo guy was great, and I loved that freestyle session. Holy cow. I thought I saw muffin-top on Holly when they were standing in the Star and she had her hands behind her back. She does look a lot thicker this year, and you can see a crease and the start of belly hang on those itty-bitty micro-mini shorts they have to wear. We've already seen them cut 'thick' looking vets at finals (Allie), so how Holly made into TCC in the first place and hadn't been weight warned before this point is ridiculous.
  6. Outside of showing the Holly/Jenna nonsense, I really hope they show it when they talk to KaShara about point. I'm hoping to see K&J discussing who to move to that slot, and see KaShara's reaction to it. Not for nothing, but seeing how Jenna carries herself after finding out she's been removed from point would be interesting as well. She seems to have been very mature about it publicly.
  7. I like how you think, and that would fit with Kitty's post about reacting poorly to a temporary situation with a permanent decision. Reading these boards it would also seem that the reason for Erica's no longer being on the team is the worst kept secret in Dallas at this point. @UnicornKicks @Aggielife @lfedncr @Bailey3606 care to share? The moral of the DCC story: 1. The Contract DOES count, so don't violate it in stupid, worthless ways in public. 2. NO ONE is irreplaceable. Suck it up buttercups - YOU put yourself in this situation with your behavior. Courtney quit for medical reasons, not for any violation of the contract. She's doing well now and just got married. :)
  8. How Gina made it with that fake damn alligator smile and insincere nonsense... smh. Best part of this episode: "What part of our contract do you not understand?" ABOUT DAMN TIME.
  9. I don't know.. I think if we saw all of her feedback during the audition process we would see plenty of positive comments from her; we have in the past. Yuko may be a very sweet person, but that doesn't mean she's good with the DCC style. There are any number of videos out there where she's either chasing the music, ahead of it, sloppy, or just phoning it in. I just think Judy gets worn out with some of these 'project' girls after their 1st season and they're STILL doing poorly. If she's lacking at anything after all these years, it's a comfort level with hip-hop, and they can always pay other choreographers for that.
  10. That bamabelle said that like she would be missed, or that her loyalty counts for something, lol. If you're going to dump the entire squad over one person, you really weren't their fan in the first place, and I highly doubt that Holly gave any thought to her fans feelings when she bailed. She just wanted to party and not be held accountable.
  11. Excellent point. No way Kelli kicks her to the curb over an injury, especially with her talent, without cause. I just can't see it. Bet you $1 that girl isn't getting a toe into the Star ever again unless she pays for a tour.
  12. I'd think we could find a little more recent example of #coattails, lol.
  13. Hey there lurker :) I can appreciate your theory @KnyghtRyder, and I would love it if that were the truth, but I just can't see that being the reason. She's just never struck me as being that noble.
  14. Exactly. Yes she's injured, which is why she got to play wallflower during camp and at HOF. But something happened to push Kelli to release her, and after last nights IG performance, would anyone really be surprised if it was behavior related? Kelli may not be everyone's favorite Director, but she's not stupid, and she's not going to release one of her supposed rockstar veterans during a rebuilding year unless she absolutely has no choice. I only hope she doesn't pull an Amy Reese and we get to see what happened. As for Holly... I was impressed girlfriend could stand up let alone do that triple last night, lol. If they had addressed the questions regarding their leaving in a mature and classy way (keeping to the terms of any NDAs) it would've had a lot more impact with their 'fans'. Instead, that whole thing basically came off as two has-beens desperately trying to hold onto their fading popularity and throw the creepers and janitorjim's of the world a bone.
  15. I wouldn't have lied either. When you're caught, you're caught. It's a sign of maturity to take your lumps and either straighten out or get better at hiding your foolishness. Makes me wonder if Holly had been told that one more issue and she'd be fired, and that's why she lied. Otherwise, if she thought she'd be able to stay and be forgiven, why not tell the truth? "Ask forgiveness, not permission" is not a philosophy that worked out for her.
  16. @Bailey3606in case you missed my earlier tag, any info on the reason for Erica' s cut? I have a hard time believing it's only for injury when they've kept others around even after surgery.
  17. Dear Lord I hope they show this (and Erica) on the show.... Stephanie spill anything about Erica @Bailey3606.
  18. This shot looks like Jenna's phoning it in. The back 1/2 of the left line looks sloppy. Honestly, why does the DCC keep posting these half-assed pics? Surely they have better photo's of practice and performance than what they've shown? Looking at their photos with an objective eye, I wouldn't guess that they're are anymore precise, engaging or skilled than other NFL cheer teams, and we know that they're supposed to be. For a world class organization, some of the photos they've released do not make them look any more polished than the Dolphins cheerleaders. :CLAPPING: Well said.
  19. I agree. She was asked for her input and offered it. Kelli and Judy have said far worse about candidates over the years.
  20. I agree, but I have to say that given that this is just a warmup and the girls would really be in the jump splits and not standing, it may be part of the reason this pic looks so bad. They really do need to tighten up those lines though. However these girls are learning about spatial awareness it's not sinking in.
  21. There isn't any news about Holly and Erica yet because the show covers training camp week by week. We've not reached the point where either of them are gone yet. The early episodes are just building to the drama at the end.
  22. 1. Brianna is a pretty girl and likely a good ballet dancer, but she's not that special. She can quit posting pics of her ass on social media and no one would miss them. 2. The choreographer Bree is annoying. They keep saying she was a finalist on a dance show like that gives her instant professional cred to be teaching DCC. 3. Madeline... I was rooting for you girl but this wasn't the year. I hope she comes back improved. 4. Am I the only one who thought it was pretty lame to build up Michelle's intro as a guest choreographer and former DCC, and then show a 1 sec clip of her tossing her hair in the tunnel?
  23. Holly allegedly engaged in behavior that would appear to violate the contract she signed with the DCC. Rather than accept disciplinary action for her allegedly less than professional behavior, she allegedly quit the team and now does nothing but post IMO passive aggressive posts, vapid selfies in her car, and use the name of the organization she's no longer employed by to promote the dance classes she's holding for little girls. I think that's why people are irritated with her; they thought she had more maturity and self respect than what she's demonstrated. Yes, she's young and makes mistakes, but she seems to be just as much of a showboat off the field as she is on. The girl has seriously had a bad summer.
  24. Yea, I got the same impression from that post. I just think she was nervous and trying to psych herself up for everything.
  25. Outside of Holly and Erica, the other vets cut weren't show group worthy either. They just didn't take the right girls into TC the last 2 years.
