  1. Thank you, that's what I was thinking. Auditions have to be nerve-wracking as hell, so it's quite possible she took time to get focused and calm her nerves. If someone on the team had a negative opinion of her because she dared to take some time to herself while waiting to find out if her whole life was going to change, then that's someone who is insecure and needs to get a hobby. Exactly! Not everyone has to like you, and you don't have to be liked by everyone else. If a girl does the job well and is a respectful and responsible teammate, who gives a damn if she's not a social butterfly. I work with my coworkers up to 10 hours a day; if I can find time to think away from that noise? You bet I'm going to take it lol.
  2. I remember Kelli saying someone was fluffy before. I took that to mean they weren't actually pounds heavier, just not lean enough for appearance sake.
  3. Holy cow! Those eyebrows are way too much. She has delicate features and those eyebrows look like clown paint. The girl is gorgeous but someone hide her eyebrow pencil fast.
  4. I don't think it's the squad's fault on this one. The song is upbeat and fast-paced, but that choreo isn't. They could do so much more with that song...
  5. I don't think the show is anymore boring than it was previous seasons. We're only less than 1/2 way into the season and the cuts haven't really started yet, and the episodes that aired were to build a background for this season. Every year there are the same complaints about focusing too much on one thing and not enough on another. Some want more background on the girls, and then others complain they don't care about that (me!). Some want more dance segments, and others complain they don't know the girls enough to root for them. It all comes down to personal preference, and they can't please everyone,. Whether they're a reality show or not, they don't really owe anyone an explanation for what changes they're making, but at the same time don't get cranky because people ask about a lack of continuity. Would it be nice to get more details? Of course! But considering we've not even reached the point where Erica is gone yet, why would they explain what happened? If it wasn't for us knowing she's gone, we would be laughing at the crappy editing. Not for nothing as well, but @ShellyB doesn't work for PTV or CMT. She works for the Cowboys, I think as their Events Coordinator or a Technical Coach(?). She's only going to give info to an internet board that won't piss off the people who sign her paycheck. I can't find fault with that - I'd want to keep my job too. I'm as thirsty as the next person for the scoop, but the DCC are going to do what's good for the DCC.
  6. This^ Kelli needs to cut back on the 'project' girls and go with ones that are much closer to what they need. I totally agree with Judy on this! They can have my first born. I'll even send the college tuition bill with him.
  7. Jenna wasn't married, she was barely out of school. She was in South Korea(?), but IIRC it was because she was the kid of a military family.
  8. I was tempted to, even typed it out, but then changed my mind. When her exit is shown and she goes into damage control mode all over social media about it, I don't want to be blocked, lol.
  9. From posts made here Holly has been going off the rails where rules are concerned since her rookie season, and she's put her teammates and roommates in difficult positions. Given that it's the internet and people love to watch train wrecks, you really don't know how much of it is lies and how much is true. I will say though, with so many different stories coming from so many different sources at least some of it has to be true. I'll also say that although I'm not a fan of Jenna's, if she did narc Holly out? It was likely only one more ding against Holly and I really couldn't blame Jenna. Holly put her between a rock and a hard place and Jenna practiced self-preservation. All of it, the entire mess, could've been avoided if HOLLY would've not done the things she did, and done them in public to boot. Jenna took her lumps because she knew she was in the wrong, and has and will come out stronger and smarter for it down the road. Holly just came out of all of it unemployed.
  10. Here Holly let me fix that quote for you: A real woman takes responsibility and moves on with class and grace. A little girl makes passive aggressive quotes on her sm because she's thirsty.
  11. :clapping: Except for the Erica part, I agree completely. Erica though has always struck me as being a bit of a wild card and a little full of herself. From the first year when she tried out and she ignored Kitty's advice about her hair, and then got snarky in the video afterwards, to bits and pieces that I've seen of her elsewhere, she also seemed to overestimate her value to the DCC. I get she may have a sarcastic sense of humor, but something about her presence on the team just seemed off to me. Like she knew she didn't have to be there, so she was going to do the bare minimum and grace them with her presence. I hope she heals well and can continue her dance career because the girl can dance, but yea.... Continue your career elsewhere.
  12. My unpopular opinions: 1. I like Charlotte. Some may say she landed her role with the DC organization through nepotism, but the woman has proven herself to be a driven, shrewd business person. She's busted her butt and she strikes me as someone you would not want to piss off. 2. I like Kelli. I may not always agree with her, and I'm not so naive I don't think she has favorites, but she's human. She's also turned the Cheerleaders into the success they are today. She should guest lecture in college marketing classes on how to take a successful brand and turn it into a profitable, in-demand commodity. In her “spare” time of course. About the only thing I don't like is some of her dress selections lol, but if they make her feel good, then to hell with my opinion, lol. 3. I absolutely adore Judy. In the entire time of watching the show there have only been 2 instances now where I've wanted to say WTF? She obviously cares about the team and about the quality of their performances. The DCC performance quality makes other teams look like sloppy high school pom squads that are regurgitating DCC choreo while drunk on MD 20/20. 4. Speaking of drunk.... every 20-something girl I've ever known, myself included, had gone to clubs and drank while not quite 21, and maybe even smoked a thing or two. Luckily though, none of us had a very high profile job and had signed a contract to behave. So, to the divas that were cut, reprimanded or quit because of said behavior, if you *must* do something shady, at least have the common sense to NOT DO IT IN PUBLIC. You're not irreplaceable, no matter how many twitter/IG stalkers gush over you night and day. 5. Melissa R and Anthony R add zero value to the show. They have zero credibility for anything DCC-related and steal time from the things that I really want to see. Whatever CMT is paying them for their so-called expertise is a waste of money.
  13. I made the comment because I personally thought it was poor form. There are girls out there that would love the opportunity to make that drive, so she came off as petty to me. I doubt Kelli or Charlotte gave it anything more than a side eye; they have more important things to focus on than a petty complaint by a cheerleader. Maybe Erica was just having a bad day, who knows? But commonsense and self preservation should tell you (especially this year!) that you want to put your most positive, team-focused attitude on display during a company promo. Since she's toast, her attitude is pretty irrelevant at this point though, and hopefully she cks her inner-diva at the door for her next dance job. DCC famous doesn't amount to much outside of Dallas.
  14. Ugh. I hate where they put Maddie. The girl is a 2nd year, is on Show Group, does everything right by all accounts and is a great representative for the team, and she's in the nose bleed section. Then you have one who bombs her interview and gets hit with weight warnings, and another who can barely do the choreography without looking like a clunker and can't hardly speak the language, closer to the front. What does a good girl have to do to get a little love thrown her way, lol?
  15. I just found it unprofessional for an employee. You don't complain about your inconvenience in working for the company during a promotional video *for* the company. I mean really? Of all the things she could say and that was the best she could come up with? If you don't like the drive for the minimum wage slave job you audition for year after year, you don't have to be on the team. Oh...wait....
  16. Of all the things she had to say about the differences, she chose to include that? A complaint about the drive? SMH. I wonder how she feels about that drive now, lol. #getoveryourself #ungratefuldiva
  17. Or that she was rushing the choreography. I've always been a Christina fan, but now I can just picture Judy pacing back and forth in front of her with a yardstick in her hand shouting JUMP, JUMP JUMP at Christina as the girl does the jump splits over and over, lol. I hope her GL works with her to get her stuff together FAST or she's going to be a one and done.
  18. @AZloverI agree with you somewhat, but honestly Jenna doesn't do it for me at point. In the few times she's been seen in that position she's seemed very... plastic(?) Great dancer but not point material IMO. Maybe with the recent attitude adjustment she got, she would look like she values being at point and would be more engaging. Kash I think does a good job and seems to be enjoying herself but, I think they should swap her with Lacey. Lacey to me seems extremely undervalued by K & J. She's an incredible dancer, always looks great from 1st qrtr to 4th, and is a fantastic ambassador for the team. She's also grounded & mature enough to stay out of trouble. I guess we all have our favorites, lol.
  19. They must not be finished setting them up. I found at least 2 that weren't there, and of course Holly's is still active. I wonder if the slow updates are intentional for the show or they're just not priority.
  20. Maybe she got that leg all the way up, but was behind a beat. Watching her perform she seems to either chase the music or gets ahead of it.
  21. ...and even a couple of the vets. #sorrynotsorry
  22. I think Kelli and Charlotte were a lot more forgiving than you might think. If you believe what's been posted, this wasn't Holly's first beer. She's had issues with breaking rules since her rookie year, but back then she was a little more stealth about it. This past season it would seem she adopted a "I'm the fan favorite and everyone loves me so IDGAF anymore" attitude about it. She not only told teammates about some of her off-field stuff, she was crazy enough to be seen in public doing things she shouldn't. Bless her heart she IS a great dancer and a charismatic performer, but she made some poor choices. Maybe she did break under the stress with the last incident, and it's understandable if she did, but she apparently hasn't been a model DCC for quite awhile. You have to be more careful than the average 20yr when you're a DCC.
  23. Christina's hair in that cameo pic sucks. It looks so much better with the curls she has for her social media profiles.
