  1. Dianna Hart De La Garza was pretty then, but now? She's gorgeous. I want to know what products that woman uses!
  2. Thanks! Got it working on my phone and my tablet. Yay!
  3. So aggravated with CMT right now! Went to their web hoping they'd have more episodes loaded, and while I can find links under the All episodes dropdown, the episodes I want to see are throwing 404 errors. Has anyone found S1 ep 102 & 108, or S2 ep 202 & 208? I like to see where they announce TC and the final squad.
  4. I'm sort of surprised they didn't mention Holly's wardrobe malfunction. They weren't above it last year with Amy's almost-malfunction.
  5. I'm 1965. Right when the hippies were starting to gain ground. Watched a LOT of Brady Bunch, the Monkees and the original Star Trek.
  6. I may be naive in thinking this, but I don't think K&J truly sit down and go "lets bring this chick back who doesn't have a snowballs chance" just to cut them for ratings. CMT seems to have a serious love affair going with this show, so I doubt that particular type of drama impacts ratings THAT much. I'm more of the opinion that they already have an idea what someone can do, what they can't do, and want to see if there's been any improvement. Especially the ones that have already been through TC once and can get acclimated faster. It wastes too much time and effort for them to bring someone in who isn't DCC-worthy and, as we've seen in the past, they'll sometimes bite off their nose to spite their face and KEEP someone who shouldn't be in the uniform.
  7. Hopefully just a bad pic? I can't imagine Kelli taking someone into camp with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo boobs.
  8. Not that Kelsey doesn't wear this spectacularly, but since when did Kelli start sourcing bikini's at Dominatrix-R-Us?
  9. Me too. Don't forget the inustrial bra with the tit-anium underwire to ratchet that cleavage.
  10. Small squad? There are some cute and smart girls there, but. DCC would do that bit a heck of a lot better. Better lighting, better hair, better makeup.
  11. Did the official training camp candidate photo ever get posted or are we making do with the group photos?
  12. Totally agree. They could bring in any number of the retired vets to mentor the candidates, or even an All Star that was willing.
  13. Melissa's segments are incredibly boring because I think they don't give her any real latitude with what to say or how to act. She is still fitting that approved-by-DCC mold. If she was allowed to shelve the "I'm Sweet But Real Act" and cut loose to say what was really on her mind, it would liven those segments up quite a bit. Unfortunately they already have that rowdy role filled with Kitty. Hell, even Jay is more genuine when he's coaching and giving his critiques. I don't know what the solution is, but I do know I fast forward through her segments.
  14. Just catching up to this thread, and clicked the youtube of the old movie. This shot had me laughing. You can tell this was before the health-craze of the 80s -- all that bread, no water and no fruit.
  15. On the official web they have her as Choreographer? They aren't very consistent in what they publish, are they? http://dolphinscheerleaders.com/staff
  16. Back in the day I would've tried as well - we all have the dream, right? I didn't get what I was trying to say across very well, so let me just say that I think these girls deserve more recognition than I think the organization gives them. No, they're not curing cancer or bringing about world peace, and yes they are getting to experience some incredible things. The DC organization doesn't *have to do anything more to show appreciation for these girls talents, but they could. They all put in hard work to get on the team, and then stay on the team, so I doubt any of them would mind. I have to say I'm actually surprised a comment I made about Barbies has irritated as many people as it has. That wasn't my intent, I was just giving an opinion just like everyone else, lol, and it can join the ranks of all the other unpopular opinions around here. Isn't the first time for me, and certainly won't be the last.
  17. I see where you're coming from, I just think there's a better way to show appreciation. I don't think handing out Barbies is any less tacky or uncomfortable. "hello ladies, Erica was freaking awesome once again. here's her reward for being better than the rest of you, but we're not putting any thought into it, we're just capitalizing on a marketing tie in and handing her an overpriced toy." They could still do the Barbie, and then maybe help the girls out with some type of financial help privately. Or even ask, 'which would you prefer - a donation to a charity of your choice, or..." Kind of like they do for service awards at businesses. Like I said though, maybe this needs to move to Unpopular Opinions, lol.
  18. Someone is messing up across the floor right about now. I think I hear Judy yelling "Point your toes!" ""Don't hunch over!" Lacey has got to be the most gorgeous one on that team. Talented, beautiful and flies under the radar. I hope she gets a GL and SG.
  19. Maybe this needs to be in Unpopular Opinions, but what is the point of giving out Barbies to the best dancers if there are 10 of them? The more you hand out the less value it has. Plus... Barbies?! Seriously? From that first season with the marketing tie in I thought it was silly. Sure, keep the tie in because DCC Barbies are money makers, but find a more credible way to reward the ones you think knocked it out of the park at finals. Tickets to a concert, extra days off, gift certificates or donations in their name somewhere. Heck I don't know, maybe help the ones who are struggling financially to pay a months rent or give them a gas card. Something that says we appreciate your efforts in addition to a hunk of plastic probably made in China that collects dust and eventually gets shoved in a closet. *man I'm cranky. back under my rock now.
  20. Eh, I'd cut her some slack. Madeline is Mormon so just being sleeveless is scandalous. She does DCC style when necessary, but it's still a part of who she is, which is a very young lady interviewing for a job. She has to walk (wiggle) on a very fine line, lol. 10 seconds into that music and I hit mute and scrolled. Part of the enjoyment of watching any dance performance is the music selection, and that was just atrocious to me. JMO.
  21. The photographer was too busy photoshopping shadows into her cleavage.
  22. Could be. Probably is. Swing from one end of the spectrum from heck yea, to eh, maybe, to Not a snowballs chance. If only Kelli would explain the judging system to us, in depth, in detail.... ;)
  23. Tried to tweet Judy that CMT needs to buy her something a little better to sit on if they insist on her using that. That thing is miserable - get one with some padding at least lol.
  24. Ok, because my conspiracy leaning brain is thirsty and after my workday I could give a rip about cleaning house, I offer the following: With the assumption that the numbers are her infamous "Yes/No/Maybe" system then, Some pics don't have any #s which means either Kelli hadn't gotten that far, or those girls didn't get any 'no' votes from the judges. If my theory is correct some people on this board are going to fall out cold because Christina got more "yes" votes than Tasha. :insert ominous surprise music: well maybe just :insert Twilight Zone music: ...I swear Kelli has to be snickering at the reaction to that one pic. Yes Kelli, we are all thirsty wenches. Give us some scoop please.
