  1. How are you watching, if you do not mind me asking? I think I found it. Great Britain was just shown, and now we see Stephen. He is a cutie.
  2. If I have the NBC app, I can watch gymnastics alone, and not share with another sport. I know Peacock showed each sport individually last time. Bess
  3. We are way behind in our skating this year. Some due to NBC, and some due to us. Shame on NBC for not supporting the USA. Alexia and Brandon were truly amazing, and I did tear up during their long. This is their last year, correct. I follow Alexia, and she hinted at it. I wonder if Brandon is finally ready to walkway. Maddie and Madison and Evan were also on fire. The girls had bobbles, but Isabeau and Amber assisted to the gold. Jason and Ilia also had a bobble, but they stayed strong. I still cannot believe we are at the end of the season. Does anyone know if this is Jason's last year. Muramoto and Dai made Andrew LLoyd Weber proud on his last weekend. I was secretly hoping that Korea would come in second. I wish they had a team booth set up where the teammates could do the same during the actual competition. I loved how the coaches were also game. When the camera panned, all the countries were thrilled for their other teams. I almost forgot about Keegan, I cried when he came off the ice. My husband and sister have the perfect eye. They both know exactly from the time the foot leaves the ice, to the twisting, landing, lifting, and spinning exactly when one messes up. I need the commentary. I have always watched for the beauty of the sport. IF this is not aloud, then I understand for removing it. Figure Skating 22 has everything up to watch from start to finish. All the teams did their countries proud this year. One last note, no more Latin dancing, please. You can only take so much bongo and Gloria. https://www.youtube.com/@figureskating2277 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPFqXBbUteA
  4. We are finally caught up. I always loved Klarion, and his use of words. He has always been my favorite villain in the YJ series. I am curious if/when Conner comes back will he be like Phantom Girl. Her hand was badly burned when she phased back. Hoping Brion finally comes to his senses about how he is being led. He appears to be finally putting the puzzle pieces together. Beast Boy and his new friend were precious. I am so happy to finally be moving on from that plot. Violet starting college, and maybe find a new love. Interesting. I always love seeing the original JL characters.
  5. Thank you! Convinced my sister to watch with us while we are on weather watch.
  6. We are also not familiar with this show, and coming from the MCU train. We are on our third watch minus the glass feet part. Loving it so far. The voice stating the vessel is back is hilarious. Anyone know who is the voice.
  7. I agree with you Good Queen Jane. Something happened beforehand. We watched the throw jump frame by frame, and she had a very weird askewed look on her face. Afterwards the other jumps she went down, and I told my husband that something weird happened beforehand. The look from her parents, I cannot imagine what was going through their mind, as well as, LeDuc's boyfriend's mind. Alas, we are reminded that figure skating can be a dangerous yet beautiful sport. Chris Knierim bowed out due to mental health correct. This was the catalyst for Brandon Frazer looking for a partner. Okay ladies and gents, fill me in on Radford/James. We loved them with their eariier partners, learned to hate Cipres and Zimmerman, and why should we not love them now?
  8. Got home from work in time to see the last four. If you get a chance to watch Ashley's throw jump, her face is very off when she landed. I told my husband something went wrong. I know she had a concussion a few years back. We re-watched both US teams going into the Olympics from way back. Hugh congratulations to Alexis and Brandon, and Vanessa and Eric. Hated we missed the pairs short. Now unto the Men's short. God bless Ukraine for all you have done for us thus far.
  9. Thanks Healthnut and annzeepark914. I vaguely remember a blurb of Marina changing jackets at one of the Olympics for all she coached. Which makes me love Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon. Their all black no I am not doing that except for Beijing look. I wish they would show the coaches names during the performance, and not just during the introductions. We always love to see who the coaches are. Allright, please do not hate us, but we live in Central Alabama, and the Czech skater clutching her elephant reminds me UA.
  10. Lady Whistleup: Thank you. I did not realize she was American born.
  11. Curious, had Maddie left/dropped by her partner? Evan said in his bio, that he always had a crush on her, and jumped at the chance to try out with her. At least that was our take on it. We also loved watching On Edge. It was fun listening to the coaches, and our wish is for more docs more on the coaching side of coaching. Meddling was good, but we were hoping for more on the side of how to become a judge, and picked for which element. Which skater is Eteri's daughter. We are going to watch again later.
  12. Watched the event live on Peacock, and now re watch on USA channel. Our technical eyes are not advanced enough to see all the missed elements. Thanks to those about C/B, and M/D help. Now we know what to rewatch for. I do find it very sad that we are pounded with the twizzles, lift, and dance sequences are the quads of the singles, and the results are the lows for the mens's technical in short. I wish these elements were scored much higher to reflect the quad level. Same for the pairs. ETA: I love how the French coaching team decided not to do the jacket dance (except Beijing). I love their Halston look.
  13. I am also a casual figure skater watcher. We try to see most of the competitions, and just now catching up on the dailies about the Russian skater. Jackie Wong from On Ice just said that Yuzuru appears to not have a coach. What happened to Brian. The one who was with him during the short, is with him at practice. We are watching the practice replay now, and the one who was with him in the short, is with him now. Our USA channel has figure skating marked, as well as NBC, if anyone is curious. ETA: I agree with those that Jason Brown should have brought back River Dance. With that program under his old coach, did she own the rights to the choreography. Loved that Nathen brought back Rocket Man. One more thing about Rocket Man, has anyone else noticed how Elton John is used by a lot of the skaters this season.
  14. Mods if my comments are against the rules, please feel free to delete. I have to delurk to say that Franklin Graham is on Fox right now discussing how his Samaritan's Purse works, and is asking for volunteers and donations. He slams a comment towards a certain group. His exact words were: We do not show up, take a few pictures, ask for donations and leave. We stay until the job is done. My family in laws believe in this organization, and have helped several times when Alabama is hit hard. It is a wonderful program. Abby is the best thing that has ever happened to JD. Watching what little of their life we see, he is truly happy, and very proud of his little family. My hearts break for KY, and IL. Prayers to the families, and those involved in rescue.
  15. This is the best I have seen Kelly Jo look in a long time. Agree about the outfits looking cheap looking, but my daughter-in-law and all of her friends have all jumped into the vat of these "modest" dresses.
  16. Agreed with everything. Stamos was great. Eric looks terrified to be around Ariel in the rowboat.
  17. We are about 20 minutes behind, but agree with the switching from the cartoon, and live action.
  18. I have finally had a chance to binge watch, and I am loving these episodes thus far. I am a massive 90210 fan, and my husband also rolls his eyes when I pop in this or Charmed. I am a huge Brenda fan, but I love them all. Is Gabby still President of SAG? She was called in the first show over Jason decking the star he was directing. She agreed to smooth over the waters between them, in order for him to direct the reboot. Should she not have been aware of insurance being mandated over the shows, show suspension if not available, and the signing of the consensual sex contracts between staff, actors and HR? I laughed so much at this show. The only missed opportunity with Jamie, was not having him be the fireman showing up when Tori fell. They could have called 911, and introduced him. She telling the gang that he is the one who is stalking, and then he in turn, have them sing at the end of the show. He went on and on about what a difference being a fire fighter meant to him. Some of the cast of 9-1-1, could have showed also. Chimney and Hen for starters. Agree that the man who owned the red dress is a huge misdirect for the stalker. I screamed when I thought that was Jessie, and him looking bewildered about why Gabby did not remembering him. I think that Shay is the one behind the detective being hired. She and Brian have the money to hire one. Police Officers work security as side jobs, and I am sure that some detectives out there do too.
  19. Now that it is mentioned, thinking back, the ones being rescued were white. The Coast Guard were unloading some black families at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Piggy backing back to the Bates and Michaela. My heart breaks every time someone announces. On BUB, there was an episode where she and Brandon went to see the physician in Nashville (cannot remember his name). A dye test was done on her tubes, and one was completely blocked. The other one was partially blocked. He told her that another test could be done to see if they could unblock the partially one. Nothing was ever showed after that. Congrats to Carlin on her bundle of joy, my hearts now breaks for Joy. She and Carlin are so close, and I have a sneaking suspicion she is the main reason for holding the announcement quiet. Giving Joy the time she and Austin needs to grieve. As the rest of you have said, rinse, lather, and repeat. Hard to get excited as each new bundle of joy arrives.
  20. The Physician's Clinic that I work at opens early for tests, and we keep CBS This Morning on. I am trying to recalling all the details shown from this week. Someone up thread said that Lawson was on the NBC station. That is the clip, I was hoping someone would try and find. Wednesday: John David, Jana, Lawson, Austin, another Duggar, Nathan, and a guy in a pale blue shirt were lined up in the background. The CBS reporter (cannot remember his name) noted them from North Arkansas, and how awesome it was that they are here with their own plane joining a search and rescue team. Someone from the Coast Guard had a map that Jana was pointing at, and another Coast Guard personal was behind him talking with Nathan. Thursday: The same CBS guy called the Medicorp from AK has being a huge help in Search and Rescue for the wounded, and those whose homes were destroyed being flown from the hardest hit areas back to staging areas in Nassau. John David, Nathan, and the same guy in the pale blue shirt were standing on a tarmac, and a female was hugging the guy in blue thanking them for flying her family away from their damaged home to safety. He was that this group from North Arkansas has worked long hours with the Coast Guard helping in the rescue of families. With the reference to the helicopter: My guess is Nathan flies low to find the families, and then radios the rest of their locations and landing sites. Today on CBS This Morning, a helicopter pilot (not our gang) and reporter landed on tennis courts. He said his job was to land, scout out sites for the planes and larger helicopters to land, in order to rescue and bring aid. Here is a funny to make your day: Mom said they should be praised for doing God's Work, and added that she was sure each family rescued received a Bible. I said they needed food and water, and not a Bible. Of course I received the Mom look. Do not get me wrong, we are devout Christians, I was just answering Mom's question. We do follow the Duggars, but not as much as the Bates. We are massive Bates fans. Through their warts, faults, and all.
  21. Long time lurker, but I thought you all might find this interesting. Dropping to say that CBS This Morning has been singing the praises of the MediCorps team from Arkansas for their major help in evacuations of those who rode the storm out, and moving them with their own plane to a safer location. Yesterday they showed Jana, John David, Lawson, and Austin in line discussing search and rescue with a member of the US Coast Guard. Just thought those inquiring minds ought to know. If anyone has found Lawson's interview, please post.
  22. I have finally caught up to all of my shows, and now I understand why Ladd, the boys, and crew are all meat and potato people. Carrot fries, and sauce. I am amazed that Brycer was able to get it all down. I laughed and told my husband that Ree is sitting in front of the TV with her notebook in hand, taking notes from Rachael Ray's 30MM to get "fresh" ideas. Some of those recipes were just as ridiculous as Ree's. Just presented in a more tasteful manor. Get ready for another engagement show, Meg is engaged (at least according to her FB page, and graduation show, Alex. Alex also has a boyfriend that has been hanging around the ranch as well as vacations. She also has a job in Dallas (wonder why so far away from Mom). Anyone notice this past weekend, that no one took a sip of the butterfly cocktail? Hy was amazed at all of the flower infused liquors for the camera. She has her bottle dressing line right in front of the isle at our local Winn Dixie, and a frozen chicken and gravy dinner in the freezer section as well. I guess she is finally branching out. Keep up all of the funny posts, I love reading them.
