I believe this Carbonara show is the worst show aired on FN to date. When she went on and on about how beautiful looking her dish was, and then told John to kiss her. My husband and I both had the "oh my" moment. I am not all that familiar with Italian cooking (Slovak descendant), therefore I have no idea the cream vs egg method, but all of that just did not appeal to me at all. She also chastised her husband for wanting to help, and then had him cracking her eggs. And yes, Rachael, some of us do cook and clean as we go, to help clean up go much faster. My husband and I work with each other every night tag teaming to get dinner on the table and off.

I laughed so hard. They had the same look on their face in the Japan vs Greece Christmas episode. My husband wondered if Chuck was still in the attic. I have seen the Mermaids credited during the into, but this is the first time we saw them sing, and not that well. My guess is when they lean over to deal the cards, all fall out to entice more bids. I guess all is right with the world when you destroy everything in the cabins including pillows and bedding for personal gain. I did not really like the story line, but I loved Cloris and Andy. Shame Ted, Tom, and Marion did not have a few lines together. A slight HD reunion. Every time Tom said "Mary", I kept hearing "Marion". I always loved the way Howard said her name. Only he can turn a three syllable word into four. Hard to believe Marion is 90 years old. She was on the Today Show yesterday, and has a new bio book out. Speaking of Happy Days, now that would be a Lifetime behind the scene movie I would kill to see made. I wish MeTV would show these in order. I saw the original here and there through the very first run, and I am having a hard time trying to keep up. I knew Julie was fired, but never saw the shows with the new girl, and I knew Vicki was on the show, but never saw how she came about to live with the gang. She and I were around the same age. Okay, I saw the Europe episode a few weeks ago, and caught that Ted's character is wealthy, Did we know this before hand, or was the bomb shell dropped on that show, does the crew now know that he is wealthy? Did he say how he came to live on the ship? A girl needs to know these things Love Boat when you time jump your shows.

I agree with everyone else on what a huge train wreck of a mess her meals have been this week. We had four BLD recipes this week. Three were very similar in nature. The sandwich is the only meal, I would consider making. I did make the chicken parm patty pizza and the hamburgers. Both were good, but nothing to really write home about. I do not

She also referenced the sweater after washing her hands. I made her pot pie, and it was a huge hit. Took a lot longer than 30 minutes (which I knew it would), but still a hit. The burgers looked amazing, and will be up next. Agreed. When she introduced the menu, my DH said a bold no way. RR is the way I really took an interest in cooking. I would watch the FN line-up (how I miss those days) after the kiddies went to bed, and decided if she could I could. Oh on a funnier note: She talked about Sarah Moulton, and the smiling all the time. She said that Sarah still visits her talk show set.

Wow! You all are amazing, and really got this board moving. Jeb and Jud of course. Kelly does not trust her other sons with them anymore............... Erin screaming at the camera man not to film her due to her curlers was pretty funny, and then seeing her with the blanket over her head. She really looked like Kelly. Bless her heart, she really had a time having baby Kade. She said that she has been to the hospital several times, only to be sent home, and was afraid to go again. Kelly gave the appearance that she had to talk Tori into going again. Her talking about her water breaking, and how disgusting it was to funny. Kelly also grated my nerves this time around, but I do give her a pass. The production crew may have told her to narrate Tori's labor since Tori was unable to speak during contractions. My water broke around midnight, and away we went to the hospital. It was around 2 am when were finally settled in, and I told my husband to lay down on the cot and sleep. I knew once things got really going with our son, I would need him. All the women in our family had very long labors, and I knew I would too. Luckily, the epidural kicked in my labor, and seven hours later, our son was here. And no, you are not old fashioned. I would have been the same way, if it was not in the middle of the night. Ahhhhhh, I completely forgot to add: Does Lawson have to go everywhere/be involved in everything the girls do? I thought it was really weird that he was headed to the hospital with Erin and Carlin.

We are five days down, and 25 days to go. They did look amazing. Thank you for posting. I was curious of it was her house, or a FN set. I know Melissa and Robin's show gave the appearance of a real home, but both were sets. I finally caught Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Wow! You all said that she was a lot calmer, and she was. I did find her somewhat out of breath during the chicken pot pie show. Curious as to just how many she filmed a day. The shrimp tacos did look amazing, and I thought about making those with chicken. Why is it her and Ree Drummond's chicken pot pie favored, but I am making RR's instead. RR's just looked so much better. Still happy that she is back even if it is for 30 days.

Someone definitely their ADHD meds before taping. Just wow! The screeching, screaming, and yelling throughout the entire show. I told DH, that if this was FNS she would have been sent home. I know it is very exciting to return to your first show, and love her comment that she does 5 jobs a day, but wow. That was just too much for us. We are going to try again today, before we make a final pass. I do too. I loved her early shows before she really caught on. Those were the simple days of FN. Cooking real food, in a timely manner, that we would actually eat. Minus the hype of selling your brand at Kohls or QVC. Unto the food: Of course she will open with a burger, and of course I am making her chicken patty pizza or whatever she called it. The salad not so much.
-
Add that to the fact they used spray paint, instead of using black contact paper. Tori did say she was cooking which is why she did not see/help in the room. Agree with the fact that Bobby is so over Tori, and shoots darts towards her.

We did. That shrimp scampi stuffed shells is a recipe is almost verbatim as to the one circling on Facebook for almost a year with chicken instead of the shrimp. Everyone at work has made it, and shared their pictures of it. We really liked it, and I do not recommend freezing it. For some reason the sauce breaks down in the freezer (at least for me). The FB one is known as stuffed chicken alfredo. My husband said the same thing about the nacho cheese casserole. Oddly enough, on an old show highlighting her favorite color orange, she pointed to her hair, and made an off hand comment about loving orange so much, her hair now matches. On her blog she mentions Alex's friend tagging along to California for a week's taping of a FN show. Curious to see how far this will go. I do often wonder if the girls will come back to the ranch work/live. I would love to know that their majors are. I do not think she has ever said. I know on one show she did mention that Todd has always said he would love to continue to work on the ranch after college, so we will see.

LOL! My husband and I met on a blind date, saw each other off and on, dated, engaged for 6 months, and then married, all un-chaperoned. My husband said the same thing about me after we were married. It took him a while getting used to sharing a king with me. With me it was getting used to someone else in the house, and that took about a year. I can sympathize with these couples in that situation. I forgot to add that Brandon mentioned his book is the an editor now. I hope and pray the editor looks at the drawings Brandon made, and adds some corrections. I remember a massive discussion about how some of those illustrations gave an inappropriate vibe, (which I also agreed with). One more thing: The guy on the Duggar board that recently became entangled with the law (the one linked to Jana several times), is he the same one who came and painted those awful trees for Tori's wedding, and tagged along with Nathan on the overseas trips?
-
I love your comment about James Bond with Nathan and Lawson. Poor Lawson, he truly believes he is the next Luke Bryan. While I am very proud of Nathan working in the Philippines helping with the 9-1-1 systems, and medical evac helicopters, there are rural areas like Lee County in Alabama, and hurricane areas like Panama City and Mexico Beach that are desperate for rebuilding. Why not stay in the US, and help rebuild these areas. I know Nathan and Lawson have been to hurricane ravaged Puerto Rico on several missions shared on their Instagram accounts. I would love to see Nathan fall in love with a Filipino woman. I am sure Kelly Jo and the sisters would die of embarrassment. Chad's comment about a little Nathan running around, and both he and Erin laughing was really funny to my husband and I. I also noticed Michael's body language when Kelly Jo was talking. I am sure she she did not care to discuss her infertility on camera either at that point. She really does love children, and wish her and Brandon could have at least one child. Speaking of Brandon, does anyone here know exactly what Brandon does in Chicago. I know he is high on the Gothard chain, but I would love to know exactly what does he do.
-
We are a sucker for punishment, and watched all the way through. Half of the answers you could not read on the screen, and they did not say the answers. Tori, Josie, and Erin were asked how many children did you want, and of course 6 was the popular answer. Bobby said that they will see how they do with this one. Another question had to do with their greatest fears, and I really hoped Kelton did not answer with the dying in childbirth. All the husbands said storms/tornadoes were their wives worst fears, as well as Lawson. Ellie asking the questions was way to funny, and Lawson said many times if he was married his answer would be such and such. Carlin was Carlin. Loud mouth as usual and full of opinions. I also agree about Brandon not being a raging ball of hormones, but we also saw Dr. Vick talk to them about their infertility trouble. Michael mentioned that they had seen a specialist in Chicago, and I thought she mentioned both were tested. He also did a test where he shot red dye into her fallopian tubes. One was almost blocked completely, and the other had dye running through it. He made the comment that every other month she had a chance of getting pregnant. Brandon works at Gothard headquarters right? They have been very vague of his job compared to the rest of the son-in-laws, and if that is the case, poor Michael will never be able to adopt a child. Next week is the honeymoon of Josie and Kelton. They head to Ashville,NC for a few days before heading to Atlantis. So there went my theory of the wedding running way behind they had to catch a plane.
-
Way to predictable, and very boring. I know the guy playing Ron could help it, but his voice became way to squeaky for us. Rufus was adorable. We did love the ending with Drakken going to high school.

Boy, I am way behind. We are in Alabama, and yes, it is very hot in October. We also paused, and looked for the Duggar clan, and I guess UPTV did an amazing job hiding them. I could not find anyone. We are also on the "sad they did not wait train" with the pregnancy. Given Erin's problems, I do hope she has a safe one, and I am sure Dr. Vick is the OB. I really thought the dress was tailored fit to her, or did the extra white fabric lining make the dress smaller. I was terrified about Renee touching the dress, but she did appear to know exactly what she was doing. The dress (other than the lining) did look amazing on her. I will admit, I cried during those scenes. I knew it would be hard on Kelton and family to see him wed without Mom there, and I am sure as the girls wed, it is going to be even harder. I maybe off my wedding etiquette, but why did Dad not walk with Kelton down the isle. It is what my husband and his Dad did, and our Moms are still living. The Groomsmen walked them down the isle. Speaking of the Groomsmen, I loved the idea of the root beer, pool, and shaves. It is about time UPTV found something for the men to do for a bachelor party, and have a good time. I loved how Callie critiqued the other two, and told into the camera, what was missed on the lanterns. She definitely has Carlin's spunk. Overall, the wedding for us was the best one yet. Simple yet sophisticated. Oh, one more thing: Agreed with everyone about the editing and the couple leaving right after the cake cutting. They flew to Atlantis for the honeymoon, and the wedding also started very late due to the crash on the interstate, and maybe this is why they could not stay and mingle with everyone (not an excuse, just a memory). I do remember the People article talked about the guests munching on sandwiches and cake.

How many times have they been to NYC. That maybe one reason why she appeared nonchalant during the tour, also I get the feeling she is not as close to Whit and Carlie as we are made to believe. She appears to be closer to Katie, but who knows. It might have been just weird editing. That 29 thousand dollar ring was so uglyl. The one Evan proposed with had a much larger diamond than the one she picked. Speaking of Evan, he has really buffed up, and is losing someone of those 15 year old looks. Still no word on how he plans to provide for her.

Is that the one she freezes as a whole, or in the individual cups. We hated the freezer version. I tried that one as well, and we also hated it. Most of the FN reviews on the recipe state the same issue, very bland. One of my co workers has her Mother's recipe, and it follows the same path, but uses spaghetti sauce, and tastes so much better. LOL! I have not seen BiV or GMF drive around yet. I think the driving is their way of re-hashing unaired episodes, or recycling old episodes. BiV: Any show that features their dog as a regular cast member, is a win in our book. We love that show. I also love GMF, and she has the only show that I am interested hearing from the husband on the farm work, and family. I have a birthday coming up, and I am going to request that book. Unlike poor Papa, Ladd or Todd: I have NOT requested the infamous texas sheet cake, or nutella and strawberries inbetween. I have requested the milky way cake. I know it is outrageous, but we love it. I have been told this is my go to recipe for all the church/work bake sales, and it is always the first to sell. Sometimes, I wish Missy would have a hissy fit, and have a show or two. https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/milky-way-cake-3/ I really miss Amy and Nancy.

We did laugh at Evan's response about waiting for her to propose. Which I thought was really cute. I truly believe all of this ring nonsense is not Kelly Jo's, but UPTV itself as a way to one up TLC and Duggarville. We only see 30 minutes, of their life each week. We have no idea what goes on behind the camera lens, and in their actual life. The 25th of May (I think) is the wedding date, so we will see what happens when the bride to be has actual time to plan. As much as I hate to defend Erin, and I am not really: She has always appeared to be the "queen seeker" of the group. The one everyone fawns upon, feels sorry for, envies, center of attention. Everyone talks about how much fun they have going to her house, cooking with her, and I believe this is her baby obsession. It is not that she has a newborn in her arms, but the way the newborn attention feels. Due to the heparin shots, the family fawns on her. She is a fragile delicate flower having to be so careful during pregnancy. She hates pain, and talks ad nauseam about how she has to have the epidural, goes early to make sure she gets it, (not sure what happened with Everily). Now she is the queen of three, and wants more. She threw shade at poor Chad making sure we understood it is in his court now if more show up. I would love to know what Erin and Chad are doing with their UP money. I am sure it is not near what TLC is paying the Duggars, but maybe pymt towards the delivery bills. Or in exchange of a paycheck, UPTV pays the pregnancy and hospital bills. Gill and Kelly Jo said they have 15 at home now. Not really, Josie is married, Nathan works in Texas or MS, Lawson is in Nashville, and that leaves 11. Judson and Jeb hit the nail on the head with their comment on how everyone is gone but the younger ones. Good for Trace choosing a career as a Sheriff, and hope he still has his dream of working for Dolly or Shadow. Katie is in cosmetology school. Jackson, Warren, and Isaiah are growing to fast along with Jeb and Jud. I hope Addalee and Callie keep their spunk as well. These seven could have their own show just about them, and their opinions. I just hope the fact that money is now in the household they do not go into the darkside of being all about the money. Gill and Kelly Jo does seem to keep a good grasp on keeping them at bay for now. The double twins: Lawson and Nathan seriously need to take it back a notch or two. Those two know the girls swoon, and they way the sit on the couch has my husband howling each episode. As for Whitney, I really thought it was discussed on the Fellowship board on the Duggars that one or both parents were abusive, and that is how she was removed. I could be wrong, and I love all of your theories. I never thought about drugs and alcohol done by her to have her removed. Being an Alabama girl, gotta touch on the sweet tea talk/snark. It is the wine of the south, and we drank growing up all day long, even in school tea was served. We still love our tea, and I love mine with half tea/half lemonade. My husband is sweet tea only.

We also had the lettuce bun, until Mom decided meat/fork was better. Too many soggy lettuce leaves going in the garbage. I see this is the new hang out, and wow, hard to find. Did everyone have a wonderful PW Christmas with their items/food/show/snark. My sister in law did buy me a few items. I love the oval bakers, and have used them every single time. I also received her bag/casserole dish. (Am I crazy). We did make her mash potatoes (with all the butter, cheese, and cream cheese), Dr. Pepper ham, gravy, cinnamon buns, gingerbread cookies, and fruit salad. (Again, am I crazy.) My family loved everything of hers I made, also made Ina and Martina (Those peanut butter incredibles are to die for.) The new shows of course still offer plenty of snark, as well as the old. I did notice she ate the ice cream, but none of the rest. To the garbage it went I am sure. OMG: Speaking of other TV shows of Pawhuska/Osage County. America in Color on Smithsonian Channel talked about how the Indians being moved to Osage County in the late 1800's. They Struck oil in the early 20's to 30's, and rented the land back to the government. These became the wealthiest Indians, bought buildings, planes, and more land. Hmmm, wonder how much land the Drummonds brought from them. Todd and Bryce are so tall, and growing handsome by the day. Poor Paige and Alex are going to favor their Mom look wise.

So far we really enjoy her. Her recipes thus far are not pop a can like Trish, and are very easy to prepare. We made her broccoli and cauliflower salad, and I bought the ingredients to make her PB incredibles, green beans, and romaine salad. It is nice to see someone as not into her husband being on her show like Martina. She has had her daughters, and her husband, but they are not as in your face like Ree and Trish. I know Trish gets a lot of flack about her show, but I do love the fact that she takes pride in sharing her late parents recipes. She talks of her parents often in a positive light, unlike Ree who always appears to have something sarcastic to say about her Mom's cooking. Speaking of family: What happened to Mike. We have not seen him in almost three years. Back to Ree: I know she took a massive hit on her pie show, but we really enjoyed the strawberry and grasshopper pie. The apple pie looked really good, but we are not that into apples. Her apple dumplings with the mountain dew is truly amazing. I use the puff pastry instead of the crescent rolls, and cut the sugar in half. I still love her earlier Christmas shows. Seeing the entire family getting together, and her food almost normal. Has anyone tried her flour icing recipe? I really thought she made up the recipe, but after google searches, it truly is a real thing.
-
Is it truly sad that Martina McBride has 3-4 shows now, and she has out-cooked/out camera presence Ree. The Cajun hollandaise looked so nasty, but the salad looked good. My husband and I did chuckle over the use of the romaine with all of the recalls.
-
That carrot cake toast casserole was one whale of a hot mess. I truly believe if we do not see her/family/cowboys eat, it all goes into the trash. After some research: There is such a thing as a carrot cake french toast in a town about 2 hours outside of College Station: https://www.instructables.com/id/Carrot-Cake-French-Toast/

Did we know that Edna Mae Lad's Grandmother also passed. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/examiner-enterprise/obituary.aspx?n=edna-mae-olsen-barton&pid=190315696&fhid=8814 https://thepioneerwoman.com/confessions/thankful/ Ree gives the appearance that she mourned Nan to the point of giving up. Not saying this as a fact, but just an humble opinion.

I am very behind, and still catching up: Poor Paige and Caleb. Alex had a huge send off with her class at the office above the Merc with the entire town invited. Paige and Caleb had a family only dinner a the lodge with roasted cauliflower salad. I did notice that Missy made a major point of stating that she brought a "normal' salad. Seeing Nan on screen just breaks my heart,, and poor Edna Mae. She buried a grandson and now her daughter. My Mom My makes something similar with cottage cheese and buttermilk. Yuck to the yuck. My Mother in Law makes something using the whole cranberry sauce, strawberry jello, pineapples and almonds. I'll be nice, and simply say nasty. I truly felt sorry for all involved for cleaning up the family cemetery in order to have an episode for Nan. I hope that it was FN driven and not Ree driven. How awful to have to deal with grief and death, and then replace fence, mow, pull weeds, and paint. I hope that they did not have to dig the grave, and bury her as well. Although we love her pizza crust recipe, and my family loves pepperoni, and do not foresee our family making any of those pizza's or "knots" anytime soon. We will also pass on her breakfast food recipes. I will stick with her rolls, french toast casserole, french puffs, fruit salad, and biscuits. The only truly thing I want to ask Ree: Why on earth do we not see you eating/feeding your family/really commenting on all this weird concoction food which you call cooking, and expect us to make/eat/feed our families. Other than that, we pass on "asking you anything". I do however hang my head in shame over the sausage stuffed mushrooms. Those did look amazing, and I do have them on my "try it before Christmas" list. The easy comfort I do not believe will be comforting in our home, however. I do make some of her comfort food: chicken pot pies, chicken noodle soup, ham and potato casserole, roast beef, dip sandwiches, and any cookie or citrus flavored desserts. We do love her angel cookies, gingerbread men cookies, and her citrus cookies. She has a milky way cake on her site, that I am truly amazed that she has yet to make on her show. It has 11 milky ways in it, and I am now expected to bring to all work/church/family functions. It also sells really well at our son's bake sales at school. Our favorite episodes are the first 20-30 before she decided to fulfill her dream of entering clown school, when that did not work out, she decided to control half the town. I am sure the petition is circulating as we speak to change the town/county to ReeDum. All kidding aside, we do make as many recipes of hers as we snark on.

My Mother always said the couple matures 5 years on their wedding day. All the stress of planning, and the wedding itself. She is so beautiful, and yes, she does look like Mother Nature. I am so happy that she had her day her way. It is amazing to me how her side profile favors Alyssa.
