At least they had more of a reason to do it to Max. He'd spent weeks and even months actively devising ways to hurt and even kill Kara, and they had good reason to believe he'd do so again (and he certainly did try again as soon as they released him). M'gann, on the other hand, was completely innocent and harmless and was only locked up because J'onn had a (very valid) grudge against the rest of her people, despite her being very sickened and disgusted by their actions toward his people.

Ava's just not listening. The doctor said she'd be kicked out if she didn't leave Patient Six alone. And yet . . . there she goes again.

She mentioned wanting some revenge of her own. I wonder if it's from something Eli did to her that landed her in prison?

That's not totally true. He just doesn't reflect on it as it's happening. It usually doesn't hit him until after it's happened.

Brady wanted Eric away from Nicole. He never wanted him to leave town. He said as much to him today. It was Eric's choice to leave, not Brady's. And it's very clear that it hit Brady hard, as well.

I really don't like that it looks like Gwen gave Stephanie up, but when I looked up Hunter and Johnny's song choices, I realized right away that Hunter far and away had to have wiped the floor with Johnny. The former is supposed to do Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman," and the latter is supposed to do Lady Gaga's "Million Reasons." What kind of choice is that for Johnny to do?! That said, IMO, even without Stephanie and Johnny, I think Gwen still has a solid Live team. She actually holds onto both of her four-chair-turns this time (and is the only one of the coaches who got more than one four-chair to actually maintain them both, while Alicia gave up Autumn, and Blake gave up Valerie). But it'll depend on the public, of course, to see how long they are last.

I think @Vyk meant that TPTB opting to show all six Team Alicia Battles was a hint that they want to push her team and hope that they register enough with the public that one of them gets voted to win instead of yet another expected Team Adam or Team Blake win. Nothing about any advantages.
