  1. I think Jinger will be okay. Jeremy writes his sermons from home. Even if she’s the primary caretaker, just having the second set of hands available when necessary is invaluable. Ma Vuolo will definitely visit and I bet even Mechelle does too. She’s at least useful for holding babies. Plus I bet the church families provide them with food.
  2. I don’t think they necessarily started trying right away, but I also don’t think Jinger was using BC either. I’m not sure Jeremy is the type to suggest condoms, but it’s possible he wanted to get through the honeymoon phase and they started trying about the six month mark. When did Jinger post that weird flower pic of their random romantic date night that we thought would eventually be a pregnancy announcement?
  3. Joanna is pregnant. Chip got his wish. http://www.kcentv.com/mobile/article/life/chip-and-joanna-gaines-are-having-another-baby/504327721
  4. The only reason I even believed it at all is because I’m pretty sure Kendra and a twin were photographed at one of the early weddings sitting next to each other. I think that was also the season that they started pimping Pastor Caldwell and his mechanic-mentorships with the Duggar boys. Then we didn’t really hear anything about Kendra and the Pastor until she started courting Joe publically. But I still think Kendra/the Caldwell’s were sniffing around the Duggar’s for a courtship and she crushed on Joe the most.
  5. The address links back to a duplex complex owned by a third-party conglomerate. Similar properties inside are advertised on their website with rents included. Derick and Jill do not own the property they are living at.
  6. There’s one chair that’s not really pushed in at the table. I bet he jumped off the chair and launched himself forward. My husband is of similar lankiness and could make an awkward jump like that pretty reasonably. But you don’t see any shadows either. I don’t know if I could say yes one way or the other.
  7. Pretty sure I found the address. It’s in Springdale. Looks to be a duplex complex. I can’t tell if it’s owned by the church or not.
  8. The Dillard’s and the Seewald’s would have had to renegotiate their contracts going into “Counting On.” We know Ben and Jessa signed something with TLC when they were newly married. There’s no reason to believe that Derick didn’t unless he purposely held out. I guess it’s possible that TLC only signed a new contract with Duggar Family Inc and the men just signed over their publicity rights, but they would be not employees in name only. They still benefit from the paychecks and were still stars of the show.
  9. I don’t think it’s a true shotgun wedding either. Most of the tabloids are still acting like the October date on the wedding registry was firm in stone when everyone knew that was a placeholder date. The jury is still out for me if they started having sex during the engagement though. They were so in your face sexual during that Q&A that it seemed to me that they had been together longer then 22 days. They just had a comfort with each other that would be hard to achieve that quickly.
  10. Derick already seemed to be on the way out before all the Jazz stuff started though. He and Jill were nowhere to be seen during the Q&A session. That was filmed before Samuel’s birth and they made a pretty big Instagram splash that filming weekend at Silver Dollar City and the Boy Scout camp with Dan. I agree with others who have speculated that TLC is the reason he lost the SOS gig. Basically SOS said no more filming, TLC said “here’s your contract, yes more filming,” and then Derick was fired. He responded by scorching earth with TLC to break whatever morality clause they have in the contract.
  11. I found this from the Vuolo’s website: “After high school he attended a small, division-1 college in upstate New York where he earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, while playing for the school’s soccer team. He began pursuing a masters degree in finance at Syracuse University before leaving early to sign a professional contract playing soccer in Finland.” Senior year in athletics refers to the number of years they’ve played, not always their actual graduation year. So it sounds like he transferred into Syracuse specifically for their graduate program. He’s talked in other places about finishing online, but hasn’t really made it clear he’s done so.
  12. Jeremy probably couldn’t get hired as a tenured professor, but he may be able to get hired as an adjunct professor or lecturer. Both were still called professors when I was in college and only needed Bachelor degrees. Community colleges require even less. I had some CC professors that only had high school educations, but had been in their respective fields for 10-20 years. If Jeremy really wanted to teach, even at the collegiate level, he could find a position. ETA: Are we sure he doesn’t have some kind of Master’s from Syracuse? Even in business? I thought I remember reading he had at least started in a Master’s program. I know a lot of athletes end up with a Master’s out of college because they redshirt their freshman year. They need something to fill the 5 years.
  13. Joy looks on target. Her belly is just barely past her boobs. She probably had no abdominal muscles to hold everything back and she’s carrying very forward. I have similar size boobs, and carrying shape, and when I was nine months pregnant I was NINE MONTHS PREGNANT. My belly swallowed zip codes at that point. It would trumpet its arrival into every room.
  14. Joy was looking thicker after she went wedding dress shopping. I don’t think she was necessarily pregnant, but that she stopped the starvation diet she had been on during the courtship about the second she bought her wedding dress.
  15. Some grocery stores do have minimums. I had a roommate in college that worked for HEB. They had to bag 4 items/bag or more. The computer system would keep track of it and they had a sign in the break room that showed where they were on items sold/bags used.
  16. The crazy thing is Jessa’s message could have been achieved by just posting the picture of baby toys. Who cares if a family of four has some kid toys scattered around? I have family and friends who will follow their kids around with a vacuum basically and every night completely rid the house of their existence. They are obsessed with portraying the perfect life on SM. So I can understand the sentiment. Even the laundry would have been passable. But the table, the DIAPERS, and the kitchen? Not to mention the sheets. I wonder what cry for help this is supposed to be. Jim Bob opening the wallet for a maid?
  17. What the everliving??? One of the pictures is a pile of dirty diapers (probably 10-15) on a dresser. Say what???? Get a freaking diaper genie!
  18. Did Anna say she was 20 weeks or were we assuming that because she also announced the gender? I could see the Duggar Machine paying for the blood test at 11 weeks to find out the gender so the timeline could be obfuscated to the general public. Anna looked pregnant at Joy's wedding, but not nearly as big as Jill was.
  19. It's funny because most of the Domino's I've been in lately have remodeled so there's a little eat-in dining area. They could have at least posed with the full pizza there and scarfed down the rest in the car if they wanted. Jill and Derick seem to go out of their way to post the most questionable pictures ever. I can't begrudge date night. I left my kids with Grandma around 1-2 weeks to go eat dinner for an hour with my husband. It felt really nice to shower, get dressed in real clothes, put some makeup on and feel like a woman again instead of a sliced and diced milk factory.
  20. We've caught up with everything in the can and got past the divorce episodes. They are currently filming new episodes that'll probably air around October to January. I think this is the last season from their previous renewal. Unless Tarek or Christina want to quit, I think they'll get another two to three season renewal.
  21. Jill was still breastfeeding Izzy at 18 months, so likely she was using that as a form of birth control (not perfect, but better then nothing) to delay Samuel's conception. Other then that, it was in God's hands.
  22. The pictures are screenshots from the last episode. Usually screenshots look awkward because you're literally interrupting the scene. IIRC Austin pulled back here, then did his own lunge once they were lip locked.
  23. In Jinger's defense, she was pretty unaware Jeremy was going to propose on that trip. If I recall he sprung the picture plan on her day of so she probably had packed stuff semi-reasonable to travel with. Judging her outfits lately, she would redo it if she could. Kendra knew she was taking engagement photos. She couldn't go out and buy a cute sundress? This look might have been cute if she ditched the white undershirt, didn't have linens showing, and worn better shoes.
  24. I don't mind it too much. My older daughter was two and a half when her sister was born. She wanted nothing to do with sitting around and watching her sister sleep. She split her time between daycare and Grandma's for the first weeks and was just happy as a clam about it. I would sideeye hard if Izzy hasn't met Samuel at all, but likely Miss Cathy brought him by during the day for visits, all hung out together, etc.
