  1. My problem with Carly's supposed "truthtelling" today is that she's completely missing the fact that Drewson didn't do/become Jason on purpose. To dupe Carson or Sam or anybody else. He is a victim in all of this as well. Someone has messed with his life (ala Jason Bourne.) But Carly blathers on about Sam needing to see Drewson as a fraud and go back to P6 because he's the real deal. Carly needs to have a sock shoved down her throat and gag on it for a good long time. LW has played this bombastic entitled bitch take on Carly since she took over the role. I loathed it when she had scenes with Becky during the baby Jake story line back in 2006-07. I really don't like LW as an actress.
  2. Again, Jason's forgiven Elizabeth for lots of things over the years. It's a part of their history. It pre-dates Sam/KMo's time on show. Guess you could say it's "canon" in their history at this point. Is it right? Nope, I acknowledge that, but it's been that way going back to the Jacob Young years as Lucky. But to LexieLily's post about it should be a deal breaker, my point stands. They made Jason take back a woman who'd threatened his kid. To some, that was/is a retcon of who Jason was/is. But I have read that some J/S fans saw it as "angst".
  3. So Jason taking the woman back who watched his kid be kidnapped is different huh.
  4. So the Elizabeth character doesn't deserve a break with the writers then. I guess I get that since you're not a fan of the character to begin with.
  5. In 2015 RC/JP needed some crap heavy for poor J/S and Elizabeth/Nik drew the short straws. IMO, these writers simply want her to acknowledge the crap (lie) that was dumped on her by the prior regime, hand wave it and move on. Her motivation was crap in 2015 and these writers simply don't care to make a big deal out of it. I'm okay with it. Doesn't change the fact that she did lie and that anchor will always be around her neck. Thanks RC/JP. Not.
  6. I get that. However, Todd's GH history is nothing like Franco's. That's the difference to me. Todd hasn't done things to GH characters that Franco has.
  7. Yup. You've just outlined Jean P.'s view of Franco/Friz. Every single thing was about him. Him leeching off of Liz's character/history. I don't dislike RoHo being on the show, but the character he's playing now is toxic, thanks to writing decisions made by RC and JP. Friz needs to end and never see the light of day ever again.
  8. Again, different writers with different motivations for writing the lie in the first place. Obviously the current regime doesn't think it was something he should be upset about. Frankly so far Jason Burton hasn't been all that concerned about the wifey and the back up boy. Sucks doesn't it when different regimes don't write things you'd think they should. Been there, lived that, alot, as a Liz fan. Mostly to prop up your favorite over the years, imo. Well, if I squint I can wank it that Jason always seemed to gloss over Carly and Elizabeth's transgressions in the past. Going back to the Guza years. It has always irked some SBu/Jason fans that hate Liz that he was always overlooking her lies to him. I get their anger. She has jerked him around a bit over the years and he's always been forgiving toward Liz. So his hand wave in today's dialogue kind of echoed back to how he's always been with her, even when she'd done him wrong.
  9. Because I'm not you and I still like Becky's portrayal. She does the best she can with the crap the writers give her. Not sure why you'd even pose the question about "fans."
  10. Different writers with different motivations, imo. It wasn't necessary to write it in the first place two years ago so if CVE/SA simply write it off with a hand-wave now in today's dialogue? I have zero problems with the writers basically saying the truth is out to both Jasons and no big deal, lets move on. The crap writing that RC/JP heaped on the Elizabeth character was stoopid. *shrug*
  11. I think the real RoHo/Franco fannie was the now retired former HW/Jean P. Given that FV didn't re-sign RoHo with a slam dunk contract (negotiations going down to the wire) makes me think he's not all that enamored of the actor like JP was. There is a decidedly different tone to the writing for Franco since she got sent off to retirement, imo. Friz pairing needs to die with a quickness and Franco character killed off. They can bring back Todd now that Prospect Park lawsuit is no longer an issue.
  12. Well as Oracle pointed out above, the "Spencers" were the bullseye for Helena. Not seeing how it was ever smart of Elizabeth to insist that the putrid Spencer clan be anywhere near her kids. She was better off being a single mother, imo. *shrug* Too bad they knocked off AJ because that would have been the ultimate in your face to Jason if he and Elizabeth had been allowed to get together.
  13. Exactly. They were going to simply write Elizabeth as leaving town, there was zero need to kill off Jake. But Geary, Jackson and Burton needed emmy bait scenes to snot and scenery chew through.. And as you mentioned, to make way for the baby that really matted to Frons.
  14. Not a what, a who. The squishy fangurl name for Steve/Kelly.
  15. Given that Guza killed Sonny's bimbo sister off after Pratt left? The call for jourtney came from Pratt/Frons, imo. Frons didn't care about Sonny's bimbo sister because he'd already moved on to his new boo KMo.
  16. Wonder who Burton roped into taking the selfie for him? Someone had to snap the shutter in order to get the full body shot Burton was aiming for. These two seem to be in some sort of passive aggressive pissing match, imo. KMo has stated in years past that she owes her job to Burton. That it seemed like she might have a little chip on her shoulder that she was always beholden to him in the past for that. But now that she's made/making it work with Miller she no longer "needs" him. She's been an obvious "killy" cheerleader and I think she's trying to send him a message that she doesn't need him anymore. I don't think Burton cares all that much about J/S. He knows she's not his bread & butter but he was hers, for years (in his mind). The best tweet I saw the other day called "stelly" two thot's with the dueling pictures. They both are skilled at passive/aggressive messages.
  17. Sigh, me too. Even with the haircut, Hudson still isn't Jake, to me. I blame FV for making the switch.
  18. Today's episode felt like a "Friday" show. Cliffhanger with moron making cow eyes at the spouse through the window. It was barf-tastic.
  19. I doubt Elizabeth will be a part of Jason's return in a way that speaks to her past with SBu's character. BH's role these days is to play 2nd fiddle to RoHo's Franco. I don't like Friz even though I think BH and RoHo do work well off each other. It's just too slanted writing to favor Franco. SBu will play some part in a triangle with Miller's "Jason" for Sam's girly parts. Blech.
  20. The Staff was her usual bombastic self today playing Phyllis 2.0 (pretending to Neener). I did chuckle, however, at the dreadful dress she was wearing. It obviously wasn't chosen by MS because it so was not her style.
  21. There was never any medical determination that Alexis was/is Sam's mother. It was all off of some stoopid J/S logic of a yearbook picture! J/S too stoopid to live 99.9% of the time.
  22. She is Alla Korot, ex Jenna Norris of Another World in the early 90's.
