  1. Pratt supposedly fired BM from AMC back in the day. So I don't know that he'd have a home to come to at Y&R if Pratt maintains his HW/EP position.
  2. The reason Pratt left GH back at the end of 2005 was to take on a prime time show-writing opportunity. I think he's always had a chip on his shoulder about having to fall back on writing for a daytime show when whatever prime time gig he had he was fired from, or the show was canceled. That he sees himself as too cool for daytime. I do not know why JFP hired him this go around. She had to know it wouldn't end well. Strange.
  3. I wouldn't expect to see any on-air changes if Pratt is shown the door until maybe early 2017. It takes awhile for a new writer's material to show up on screen and perhaps a few months to clean up all the hangover story lines left behind by the previous writer. But that's only speculation on my part. Maybe the new EP is exerting story line changes now with Pratt.
  4. Looks like they had Mo pick up the baton on this one. Burton's Jason isn't around to be that to the go to character. Guza wrote the ever living crap out of Jason being the go to guy back in the day.
  5. Even if JFP is out, SBu still has clout with Pratt. The HW is also carries the EP title. But if Pratt is shown the door as well? Then SBu is likely on thin ice if that British EP guy doesn't want to accommodate Burton's cushy work schedule.
  6. Actually Jason did want to tell everyone about Jake. Remember that big bad Lizzy talked him out of it the morning Alan died. She was almost always the big bad during that time. Poor pitiful Jason, being led around by Lizzy.
  7. Not trying to be picky, but was there some large group of people saying Liz shouldn't be paired with Ric because she looked young? I thought J&R were dumb because she crushed on him before the head injury and he only gave her the time of day after his memory was wiped clean. And she lead him around by the nose, imo. I like Kim/Robin, but I had zero use for J&R.
  8. Let me be the first then. I thought she looked more JJ's speed. Everyone complained about the pixie haircut making her look super young at the time.
  9. Lucky has been a raging, self-centered douche since he was a teen, in my eyes. It started way before 2006-07.
  10. Not to me. I didn't think Becky looked like a teen with Rick. Becky looked like a woman next to the teeny-bopper JJ, IMO. Both she and Tyler looked the 5-7 years older that they were versus JJ and Amber. Did anyone question the large real life age difference between Kim and Steve during J&R? Cause Kim is younger than Becky. And Rick Hearst is only 4 years older than Steve. Just saying.
  11. Kevin and a woman doctor who examined Jake. They both said that Franco seemed to be making progress with the boy in the art therapy. Liz was reluctant to take their advice but did so, in the end. Jason apparently had somewhere else to be at the time, some ex-wife to diddle in a barn, etc. Jason has no clue about how she's been hesitant to have Jake involved with Franco. Jason's brow beating her from his own seat of anger over what Franco did to him and the pitiful ex-wife. He's completely ignoring his son's feelings, which totally override whatever Jason's feelings are at this point. When it comes to Jake. Jason's the adult, but behaves like a tool when he can't get his way with Liz. Like he thinks she doesn't have a clue about Franco. She does. It's been shown on screen.
  12. He needs to put on his big boy shorts and deal with it. I get the history and he has his right to his anger about Franco, but until the professionals say someone else is better suited for treating the son he supposedly loves/cares about? He needs to put aside all his anger and focus on what's best for his son. Is it crappy writing that both he and Liz have to deal with the terrible that is the Franco character? You bet. But the writers have dealt us this story line, in this fashion and the way they are going about it doesn't do Jason any favors. So for as long as the writers choose this tact with writing for Jason? I'll keep his sorry backside on blast.
  13. Because Liz has had reservations from the start regarding Franco, but gave in on the advice of Kevin and the other doctor. She's been reluctant all along. Jason throwing his attitude around when he's never been in those discussions from the start? Again, he can choke on his tongue until he starts showing up to those discussions with the professionals about Franco. Instead of spending all his time rutting in a barn somewhere or going down memory lane with those that "matter the most" to him.
  14. Given how Jason flaps his gums about talking to Jake together and then totally leaves Liz holding the bag? I don't blame her for digging in her heels. Comes from years of having to do it alone anyway. I don't like Liz having to deal/prop up Franco either, but Jason can choke on his own tongue as well. Free Liz from both of them.
  15. At least McTavish had the presence of mind to not write in Becky's pregnancy. Guza failed on that regard, twice, and crippled the Liz character by saddling her with babies where Liz was the big bad keeping them away from the favored male/father.
  16. I think his mother passed away earlier this year. Perhaps it has something to do with that.
  17. Small correction. It was viral meningitis, not mono.
  18. IMO, yes. I see tweets that are totally in love with the pairing for the phrase I bolded. And yes I believe they are ignoring the story/history these characters had on the show prior to JFP/Pratt. I don't blame JT for taking the role, but I do blame JFP for casting him in the completely wrong role. And Pratt for writing this mess.
