  1. Never heard of it but just told hubby, I think we'll be checking it out. We've been looking for something to watch. Which DT book are you on now?
  2. The Stand is my fave SK book too and I love the mini series, it seems to be one of the better adaptations of his writing, though Green Mile is good too, actually probably a better adaptation. I still need to read Under the Dome. I think 11.22.63 is my second fave of his books. Hubby read it then talked me into it. We tried the show when our library got it on DVD, yeah we made it through one episode and noped our way right out of it after that, just way too many changes, which is my fear with Dark Tower. I actually prefer the 90 something tv miniseries of The Shining over the movie bc it stays truer to the book. Hubby and I argued about it bc neither of us had read the book at that point (the croquet mallet vs the axe) it lead to both of us reading it.
  3. one of the things I appreciated the most was diapers that kiddo wouldn't wear for several months so that when he got to that size I had them already. Even a single package is helpful. I also had someone buy something just for me, a new top I could wear after baby and it was so nice.
  4. Ok first you HAVE to watch Stranger Things it was so good, though you might want to wait bc season 2 isn't out til Halloween and the wait is killing me. Second I read Green Mile in the this books that was how my library had it. Third as a King fan have you read the Dark Tower series and are you going to see the movie when it comes out. Hubby says flat out no he's not paying to see it too many changes. I'm curious but idk it does look like they changed a lot and I love that set, well everything but the ending UGH!!!
  5. So Holly's mom shared this on insta and Holly reblogged it She was sassy as hell already at 9

  7. Wait her shoulders are showing, and if her hair blows back her collar bone will be showing too, is that allowed? ;)
  8. exactly what I was just thinking. Tiny my a$$ that's a big baby, he even looks huge, saw a 6 week old baby boy when we were out today and he was smaller than Izzy as a newborn. Eek!

  11. She is looking more powerful. I so hope she and Dayton make it together next year.
  12. I really lost interest in RW when they made them go into business together like that's RW. I think the last full season I watched was Hawaii and I know I missed a few before it.

  20. My favorite Charles quote is from Sons and Bowlers, he and Hawkeye are talking while waiting for Hawk's call to his dad to go through. Charles say "While I have a father, you have a dad." I just love that line.
  21. This ^^^ someone I don't want manufactured tension like other shows but show some of the real tension it really won't take away from the America's Sweethearts reputation. There is no workplace I know of that has never had an tension or disagreements. Show the tension, show how you solve it, it's ok to argue and disagree you are real people show that.
  22. good gravy that man is truly delusional, I have to say I like the commenter who said clearly memorizing a Bible verse daily didn't stop Gothard himself from being a criminal.
  23. do I dare ask why or should I just guess? lol I'm one of those weird people who doesn't have any words that I hate or that bother me
