Absolutely amazing! I was convinced it was preordained for Saphira but woohoo! So happy for Nymphia! Despite Saphira’s mesmerizing opera chops, Nymphia finessed her way to the crown! I have to say they showed their hand by tying Saphira for Miss Congenuality. But Nymphia blew the lipsynch away! All hail our new queen!

Q was robbed and her face showed her (justified) anger. I could have accepted Jane winning, but Q totally deserved the win. Sapphira did well. She recovered quickly from her flubs. But her runway was not all that. I agreed with the Final 2, and although it was likely Mih’ya’s time to go regardless of what she did, the minute that cape blinded Morphine, Mih’ya may as well have ridden out on it. I sadly agree with the poster above: it looks like the fix may be in for Sapphira

I have have to say I didn’t have a problem with Chris saying he wouldn’t want to be intimate with a woman in the FS if she had already been intimate with another. I am Team Susie in saying if you have your heart set on one then ok be intimate; but being intimate with several is just yucky FS or no FS, Clay-un) But then he lost me with his evasive talk of how he might or might not make that clear to the Bachelorette in an earlier date. I think the ladies were right to let him go- and he proved that by coming back to confront the other guys BUT. No one on this show should be shocked by a contestant thinking about the FS - and/or how they would feel about certain scenarios in that FS. They do it every season and thinking about it is pretty normal IMO

Did both of these ladies attend the Carol Lynley School for Whispering Babytalk? Some of these men were definitely cringe and look forward to some serious winnowing really soon. Oh. And Fabio wannabe: please put your shirt back on

S07.E07: Legendary Legend Looks
Nilknarf replied to Keywestclubkid's topic in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
I was so happy with the top 2 this week, but thought Jaida should have won the lip synch. Not sure what Trinity’s strategy was in blocking Yvie (except Yvie being one of the double-starred queens) but at this point they are all bringing it every week -
S07.E04: Fairytale Justice
Nilknarf replied to Keywestclubkid's topic in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
This was a great episode, and another example of how amazingly talented this whole group is! I agree with the Top 2 - and with the winner of the lip synch. But I wish Yvie and Raja could also be awarded a prize for their contributions this episode. How is Ru ever going to decide which of these amazing queens will win the prize?? -
I was not surprised by the outcome and the correct chef went home. Jackson seemed to be phoning it in - especially as FOH. When one of the wait staff blew by a patron who was calling out, and Jackson acted like that was hilarious I figured it was all over for him

To Tell The Truth - General Discussion
Nilknarf replied to Meredith Quill's topic in To Tell The Truth
The episode shown tonight (3/23) but I couldn’t figure out if the panelist named Adam was under the influence or if that’s just his schtick -
After everything we saw in this elongated farce of a finale, I am with Gabby: I don’t believe a word he (woodenly) said. I am not able to discern Susie’s sincerity or the truth of her words. She did seem a bit flippant at times: “he’s mah boy friend”; “I love ya” but I will take her at her word As for Clay-brain, I wish I could give him the benefit of the doubt and wish The Happy Couple well. I do think they have a real connection, and they might have a good run. But, based solely on what we saw of Clayton this season, he has a lot more of that “personal focus work” he claims to have done; before he has any hope of making a relationship last. He says he didn’t set out to purposely hurt anyone, but his underlying immature nature came out and he couldn’t stand “not winning” so he channeled his Inner Salesman and felt compelled to sell himself to Rachel and Gabby even after he knew neither was his Endgame. I want to wish them well. But, my inner skeptic gives them six months; tops. I pray Rachel and Gabby get their respective happy endings

Clayton appears so clueless. He really doesn’t see his accountability in this mess. I felt badly for both girls, but my reaction to Clayton was just: “what an asshat.” He showed us all season how he was all about the physical connection. He honestly did not see any reason why intimacy with all 3 women would be a potential problem. But - most importantly - why telling all of them he loved them - tells me that no matter what these women feel for him, he is not emotionally mature enough to make a genuine romantic connection to anyone. I can’t say it enough: what an asshat

I was so glad to see the connection between Miguel and Rebecca. He obviously adores her. As for the future Mrs. Nicky, I like her! (Although it was a bit troubling to hear them say they missed each other) Hmmm… Deja gets busted in the next episode!

While watching the date with Susie I was thinking she is a) sweet but b) not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But, as the episode progressed and I watched Clayton play tonsil hockey with Cassidy and ignore the kids birthday party; and then later become so easily impressed by brainless Shane’s-neh, I realized Clayton isn’t much brighter. He may be cute and rugged, but Michelle totally dodged a bullet with this guy. He acts like he is trying out for the part of Moose - of Archie Comics fame.

Victory’s voice is sublime. There is no denying the pure power of her voice. But she needs to learn to relax and to regulate her facial expressions. She looks like an android; devoid of emotion and showing stiffened posture. I hope for her sake she doesn’t win. She is not yet ready for that kind of fame - although she is undoubtedly amazing I don’t know who will win. No one stands out as front runner. I agree with those who have said Josh Blue shouldn’t be in this contest. I am a huge fan, but he is already an established act and shouldn’t have been in the contest. It might be the nurse choir or the tae kwon do group. But it also might be someone completely random. if Woke Man can win this, anyone can

S06.E12: Finale This is our Country

So happy for Kylie. I liked all 4 finale queens. Although I was teak Ginger, I have no problem with this result -
S13.E14: Henny, I Shrunk The Drag Queens!
Nilknarf replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in RuPaul's Drag Race
The wrong Queen went home, once again! What in hell do they all see in Kandy? I just don’t see it -
That was horrendous and I checked out 20 minutes into the episode. They can’t redeem Teddy for me; just like a thousand episodes of Station 19 can’t make me watch that, either.

It does look like Melissa will win but the production monkeys have led us astray before... Woohoo!!
-
I was so rooting for Gregory to win this season and sad to see him go. When he began to say how badly his back felt, I flashed back to Angelo in the finale of season 7. I’m really enjoying this session. I’m rooting for Melissa now but I would also be ok with Bryan pulling out an “end run” and winning the season.
-
I was rooting for Gina, but I’m happy for Jaida. She is so elegant. Crystal made me laugh so hard. Gina was absolutely stunning. I‘d predicted Heidi’s win for Miss Congeniality, and I was so glad to see how thrilled she was. looking forward to All Stars

I’m really glad they put Miles and Cara back together, and even gladder they left the identity of the God Account up to interpretation. But the way it was all tied up so neatly in the last two minutes was pretty much an anti-climax. I was already upset about the series ending, so I’m not sure any ending would have pacified me. But such a superficial narration of all the great things that happened was like one sprinkle on an otherwise delicious ice cream cone. Why didn’t they just throw in world peace while they were at it?
-
The guy who plays Adam is one of the worst actors I’ve seen in a long time BTW did they really say next week is the series finale? Totally unfair!!!

So, Kevin’s baby mama is Madison. Crap, crap, crap. Both brothers said horrible things to each other. What a sad situation. i love Dr. Major Dad, but I feel like he was wasted in this episode. I’m glad “Baby Jack” has a sister.

This was such a shitty way for Alex to go out. Kudos to him for wanting to be there for his kids, but he didn’t have to hook up with Izzy to do so. What an uncharacteristically crappy way for him to treat Jo. I’m so disappointed. There are so many ways they could have given him a more honorable exit. this sucked

I agree with everyone else who is upset by the direction they are taking Miles and Cara. The ambiguity is more disturbing than a breakup would have been. i was distracted last night with Cara’s hair. It was just so limp and uncharacteristically unattractive. And in one scene she had a little bow in the back that looked so poorly placed Lastly, I am starting to lose track of what happened with some of their past friend suggestions. I couldn’t remember that military man at all
