I've been in lock down for quite a while now. I don't drink. Some heavy duty medications would just about hit the spot right now. -

So now Erica fell, more sympathy, more reason not to work on herself. (I know, I'm a terrible person) -

I think I missed something. Did she just have a panic attack? Did Dr Now find anything when he went in, other than she stretched her stomach? -

She's lying on Jimmy. She had a bunch of hoarded sh$t and he didn't want to deal with it and her rotten temperament. The truth shall set you free, Erica. No sense in getting therapy if you aren't going to be honest. -

Yup. And people who said her family had a reason for being cold to her were dissed all over the place. There's a reason people treat you the way they treat you. Plus - didn't Erica have prior WLS that she over ate? I think so. -

I have maybe 4 rabbit (my thing) Beanie Babies. Four is cute. Hundreds of them in plastic bags is not. -

Imma say this - I've watched tons of hoarder shows. Often, a spouse has tendencies and if the other spouse doesn't make it clear hoarding won't be tolerated, 15 years later they're walking on 2' of trash. So, as a person who couldn't deal with that mess, I think he did the right thing. Nip it. Nip it in the bud. Plus, Ericka said she went off on him when he told her he couldn't deal with the clutter. That kind of behavior isn't going to go away just because they're living together. -

Hello Pounders! My eating habit is homemade veggie chow mein. Carbs be damned. -
I remember her! If she'd said that stuff about working for her son one day, I'd have walked off. I've met enough people and been around long enough to know that when someone tells you they have problems with the whole family, there's a reason. I used to think, "Aw, how sad." Now I know better.

I retired from a university w/a hospital and we had employee benefits that allowed you to see a nutritionist, I saw a behavioral counselor about life after retirement & food control, there were programs for employees who had elderly parents, etc. It was all free, but you only got a certain number of visits or it was a time-delimited program, like 10 classes for weight management. I'm sure Leneatha could have gotten some help from the hospital, at least to start her on the right track.

My son's fiance lives a little over an hour away. I don't see anything wrong with people being in different places until they get married. They've been dating for about 2 yrs (met online) and they have had to deal with the travel and not seeing each other if there's too much snow, but they've made it work. Now with the pandemic, she is staying up here so they can be together. She got permission to work from home and he works from home anyway, so it's been good. She plans to go back when restrictions are lifted. I think in big cities people may commute an hour to get to a lot of places anyway, so I don't see it as a big deal. Engaged people don't always move in together.

Oh well. Another drop out, huh? Maybe next week will be better.

Shoot! My system went out! What happened? Did she realize she was over eating?
-
What has worked best for me was eating my main meal earlier in the day and something light for dinner, then moving into one meal a day (OMAD). I thought it was going to be hard, but it isn't too bad. Plus, at least for the program I'm doing, it's one MEAL, so you can open your window with yogurt or whatever, and close it later with something small. On Good Friday, our church leadership asked us to fast for the pandemic (get a cure, support health workers, etc.). No problem. I can guarantee you if someone told me to fast 6 months ago, I would have said no way. My weight loss is steady at around 1-3 lbs a week. I tried keto, doing veg keto at first, then regular, but I feel much better eating what I want, such as a potato, during my 1 meal. I don't go crazy w/the carbs (diabetic), but it's nice not to feel guilty if I have a potato.
-
If she says she's not eating, and the gym guy asked her for a food log, why not bring it to Dr Now? She's eating more than she thinks she is, whether on purpose or by mistake.

Thank you. I'm surprised this stuff is so popular with younger women who should be thinking of their power as women. I don't need a man (not Jeffree Starr or any of those other online people, either) to tell me, as a woman, how I should look. It's bad enough with men making clothes for size 0 models.

Jeez. I had to mute most of that discussion. I'm not defending Leneatha, but I will say this - especially as a diabetic, she may have been taught she needed to eat frequently so she didn't get low blood sugar. I know I was. This is terrible, old advice. If you're eating a regular (not low carb or keto) diet like the ADA, it just keeps carbs floating around your system all day. She may also have issues with being at work, not eating, and then starving later and not knowing if she'll get the time to eat later, will have to get take out because she's too hungry to cook when she gets home, etc. Been there. I'm on a medication that affects how hungry I feel. I had a problem at first because I wouldn't get hungry until 7 or 8 pm and was always told not to eat late plus I was afraid I'd pass out around 10 or 11 from not eating. The doc said, "Eat when you're hungry." Wha? So now I don't worry about it. I also know I don't have to have a meal just because I'm hungry. I just need something, not everything. She needs a forward-thinking nutritionist.

Well, she turned a little snippy, didn't she?

On top of that, I always hear Joe Pesci's voice, "They f... you at the drive through."

Girl...I just looked that stuff up on amazon, but am not seeing my color. I'm gonna look again, tho, because my local store didn't have my color, either. It's just auburn, how hard can that be?
-
I guess everyone hates their freckles. I don't have them, but I always think they look cute.
-
That's what I thought too, but I think she meant falling onto it as she was afraid she would break it. Smack me for smiling at first, tho.
