I think I was was more upset about the loss of Michael Stanley than I was for some of my in-laws! (shhh) Husband worked at a SOHIO/BP service station and used to sell him cigarettes back in the day. He used to say, "Hey Mike!" and chat with him. Husband treated him like regular people. The day he died, I was getting my first COVID vax. Husband waited in the car and listened to all of the tributes. Husband was crying when I got back in the car. Husband doesn't cry much.

I bake a lot and the Lord named Daniel knows how often I use maths when I double recipes!

Add my man Michael Stanley to that list. Plus... how often can you actually see the burial place of an actual US President? We are so fortunate!

We live near Lake View Cemetery. I love walking through there and exploring. It is gorgeous, peaceful, plus a lot of famous people are buried there. But… I have never taken a picture there, and I am very respectful of the history.
