  1. On the accent, I did wonder when the Christie’s met Claire, Brianna and Roger why they (or no one) ever asks why Brianna has an American accent given her mother is English and her father is Scottish and it is known they all came to America within the last few years. Brianna adopting an accent more similar to her family when they went back in time may have made more sense, and an opportunity to revert to actress’s own accent
  2. While I agree Bill throwing shade is ridiculous I’m just enjoying having him back on my TV screen. Between DD and SK, my soap opera crush level is on maximum overload. And it was only when $Bill and Liam were speaking about Beth that I realised that her grandparents are $Bill, Deacon, and Brooke. That’s some gene pool! If she doesn’t turn out to be the swaggiest most stunning kid ever, it’s a crime. Just need to ensure Hope keeps up with the Sharpe swagger she’s suddenly discovered. Oh, and work out how to keep her away from her mind-numbingly dull father…
  3. The viewer interest in this story if it goes through to June 😳
  4. Where is DD/Bill? At this point the only thing that may save this awful Eric has ED storyline is Dollar Bill’s snark at discovering the shit show that is currently going down
  5. She didn’t mention them but LA has unfollowed her on Twitter and Instagram and liked a tweet criticising her response.
  6. True @Anna Yolei, Nick definitely came close to being a true Bridge challenge, particularly in the early days. I guess I’m remembering a lot of his jealousy towards the end though. Plus his subsequent merry go round with Bridget, not to mention Katie and Taylor just killed any Brick affection I’d ever had. It’s also likely my own personal bias that I view Bill as the biggest threat to Bridge. I love what Don Diamont and Bill have brought to Bold, and that Brill have managed to continue to show a connection even a friendship of sorts whether together or apart. I think that’s also partly down to the KKL/DD chemistry. And as @nkotb points out - Bill is hotter than the sun! Although I agree Ashley Jones was only used sparingly, I thought she did a good job reacting to the situation. She had a good mix of here-we-go-again skepticism towards what Brooke was saying, and not really any shock, which made sense given what she went through with Brooke. And Quinn and Steffy’s reactions were entertaining as hell. Popcorn, anyone? 🍿
  7. I actually agree with both of you. OG Ridge’s ego was large enough for him to get past all of Brooke’s dramas because he ultimately believed he was her destiny, and that no man would ever match up to him. And even though he was an ass, he appreciated and loved her spirit - he knew she was more than his match and liked it that way. This incarnation of Ridge is definitely more of an ass, but also seems to have a much more fragile ego, and so prefers fawning women who are more submissive. On top of that, Bill is definitely more than Ridge’s equal in a way that none of his family rivals (Eric, Thorne, Nick) were. Bill more than matches him in “ladies man” reputation and business success. And he’s not hamstrung by wanting to have a relationship with Ridge as Eric, Thorne and Nick did for the most part. So the lack of family ties goes both ways - Bill openly loathes Ridge and is more than happy to call him out on his crap. Of course he’s also Brooke’s stallion - so maybe Ridge secretly realises Bill is way hotter than he is 😂
  8. Chad’s “it’s Valentines Day” explanation for not exposing Ben was all sorts of lazy writing. If my memory serves me correctly, the last time we saw Ben and Chad together they’d teamed up to find Ciara and Charlotte when Jordan had kidnapped them, so he could have referenced that as some kind of “I hate you but you helped out” tit for tat. Or he could have TOLD CIARA HER MOM WAS PRINCESS GINA and that, you know, maybe she other issues to deal with besides Ben. I’m so disappointed that it looks like Lani will “win”. It would have been so much better if Gabi had decided to let her scheming go when the pacemaker got changed. Then when Lani confronted her she could be all like “what damn app, are you cray cray?” After all, as far as she is aware, Lani is a nun and gone now, and therefore would have no idea that Julie’s pacemaker needed changing. So her insistence on getting control of the new one makes no damn sense anyway.
  9. Thank goodness it was a fake out - too many good legacy characters to waste. I am loving that they are using the flashbacks, even though the actors have changed. It’s fun to see the original stories again. And I personally feel more respected as a long term viewer to see flashbacks with different actors rather than being subjected to crappy recreated flashbacks like we were given on the main show a couple of times in recent years when actors changed. I hope they consider carrying that through to DOOL itself
  10. They are in this article: https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/daytimeconfidential.com/.amp/2019/11/26/chloe-lanier-educates-latinx-actress-camila-banus-on-fair-emmy-competition
  11. Has anyone watched the first episode of the Last Blast reunion yet? Everyone and everything looked fabulous and it’s set up for some good soapy messiness. I definitely enjoyed it - particularly the ending. I didn’t think it was possible but JKJ may have gotten even better with age. It made me realise that they need him back in Salem as a leading man.
  12. Thanks for sharing @QueenSerena - I couldn’t be more excited to see that confirmed. I love JKJ and his Philip. Fingers crossed he also turns up in Salem
  13. Thanks for the confirmation @QueenSerena and @boes - I was starting to think I was losing my mind, or my memory chip had been tampered with 😆
  14. Same - I’m up to date and I’ve not heard that given as the reason, so I’m super confused 🤷🏼‍♀️
