To me JD (and Jana) seems like a reluctant participant in the circus. Don't have a link, nor any evidence to back up my claim. Just one of those things. But like his siblings he respects, perhaps fears his father, and is much easier to just go along. Then there is the guilt trip about the show being their ministry. If he was exposed to real ministry on a regular basis, perhaps he'd be less willing to join the farce. Re the anger, the family is so intertwined that they all felt cheated on by Joshley. It would be nice to see the same outrage about the molestations.
