Good game! You guys, I spent the first two+ days thinking that everyone was on some team, and we would each be sending someone to the elimination round and then somehow one of them would be picked to go through. Possibly why I wasn't acting like a villain -- I didn't realize I was one! LOL indeed.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking -- not that they use the pressure cooker in their normal life, but that it would be strategic to practice with it before hand. And 100% agreed on the desserts!
So if our actual mods are out of pocket, I will tell all: I was a villain! I was Mario Batali, along with @Lisin as Rachael Ray and @MarkHB as Giada.
I couldn't have done it without my team!!
Clearly there are other issues in the broader family, if that was the best option for the niece! Poor Tanya worked so hard -- I hope she really sticks with therapy and etc.
What's awful to me is that at the same time, there are people with chronic pain who can't get enough pain relief to function! And then my (upper class, white, suburban) cousin was sent away with a handful of oxys for a fairly minor issue.
Shit, I don't know. I mean, if I can't vote for myself, it becomes kind of a toss-up.
I guess it's only right to do the flipside of the thing where people start a DL against the person who started the DL against them...
1 (Jesse) to give Lisin the win
Now that's a twist!
I went looking back through the stories over the weekend, and (since a clue pointing at me was in a list of food one time!) noticed "persimmon salad, persimmon and endive, asparagus with persimmon sauce" and wonder if s-e-a is another clue for A1?
Man, I can't believe Cindy is still going! I think even if we didn't know her full story now, it would be apparent that she wasn't well during the taping. She really looks like she's just pulling out everything she has.
I guessed "radical" at the last second, not sure if I would have had time to write it down.
Sam was the finest, 10 years ago. Now not so much. He at least needs to take that damn hat off. He's a grown man now!
I'm on board with Fabio and Silva, though.
Also, and maybe it's well-known about Johnny, but knowing someone's last name doesn't actually tell you about the ethnic traditions they grew up with. Mine don't "match" because I grew up with my maternal grandmother's tradition and my paternal grandfather's last name.
