  1. Yeah, that's what I'm worried about! Of course, I'm still not sure which characters would be the villains anyway.
  2. I hate to DL OB with no evidence -- is anyone going on anything other than gut?
  3. Boooo. Could the Padma-of-the-sea gif be a clue for A1?
  4. So happy for Cindy! That's some bucket list shit right there. On FJ I got stuck on San Diego, which I knew wasn't it, but couldn't make the leap to Santiago.
  5. If she paid a few people $10/hour to help her stuff envelopes a couple of weekends, I can see it. But I totally agree about 80% of zero -- and I kind of think Team Wonderful would have been right for her. An online platform full of people who like to spend too much on dumb shit? Sign me up!
  6. I just heard on a podcast that cast-iron skillets are a very American thing.
  7. Depends on the bad guy, I guess? I still don't feel like I know most people's "typical" game play, though. For the record, I'll be offline most of the day tomorrow. So I'm also not inclined to draw too many conclusions from a day off from anyone.
  8. It would be such a shot in the dark, as far as I can tell, I don't know. I'd take suggestions, though.
  9. Gordon, Graham, and the PA as villains, maybe?? (I've never watched MasterChef, are there not three judges like on most competition shows?)
  10. Ohhhhh. I see where you're going. She has written cookbooks, hasn't she?
  11. Oh man, so sad. But kind of great that she got to be on Jeopardy!
  12. She's a foodie, though -- but really didn't she get the hosting job because she's a model? But none of that is about this game!
  13. Yeah, that. It's better for the kid in the long run if she stays away for a long time and stays clean. Having to sign forms isn't the same thing as the doctor explaining it, though. People sign all kinds of things without reading them.
  14. Welcome to Flavortown, everyone! (Not a hint as to my actual character. I just somehow love Guy Fieri now??)
  15. The Foxworthy show was The American Baking Competition and on CBS, so a whole other thing, if still inspired by GBBO.
  16. Egavasc Aquarian1 MarkHB TJtrack99 HM The Craze Spruce MMCS Oinky Boinky Jesse
  17. I also kind of wondered if he's been raised to believe that Things will only be OK if he's always and only pleasant. What a sad story.
  18. Also, no one wanted to say "fat jeans"? I liked this tournament for how my opinion of the contestants shifted so much throughout! I was against Michael from the start, but thought he took his loss really well, starting on the first day of the final. I liked Alec until you could visibly see him getting more and more full of himself as the thing went on. I hope he gets over the loss -- maybe Michael can give him some tips? But anyway, so glad for Sharath who is adorable and smart and didn't seem so full of himself!
  19. That was totally a cocktail dress! Why do women still think Heather Locklear on Melrose Place is an appropriate role model? Speaking of which, apparently the algae lady is a friend of a friend. The mutual friend was not hopeful about her chances.....And she was right!
  20. After years of hearing them call Marie Claire magazine "Mary Claire" on Project Runway, I gave up wondering. I could tell FJ was Lord of the Flies, but also have never read it, so wouldn't have known a character's name.
  21. High Maintenance is so great! It's on my list of shows to pitch at Thanksgiving, so as to avoid political talk. Anyway, I liked that episode (and the one with the day rave maybe?) more than the one about the dog that everyone was raving about. Also some of those haiku were a mess! Hilarious.
  22. Totally agree with the people saying they are sad to see Santino Fontana leave the show, but super glad to get out of the Josh/Rebecca/Greg love triangle business. I'm also weirdly glad (because who really cares) that they made Heather's ethnic background align more with the actress's, because she is definitely a type that probably gets cast as all kinds of things. The CW is really becoming the pro-choice network, huh?
  23. Pro-raisin American reporting in.
