  1. Ebony is there now.....oh my......I'm supposed to clean and cut grass etc today. I'm in trouble now lol, must resist flooding that forum. d ETA oh and there's a cute animal one too!!!!
  2. Ebony Moon with Destiny a Flemish Giant bunny (passed on the giant bunnies are very short lived) and with BG back when he was a kitten
  3. To all that commented on my Ebony Moon.....I'm tech challenged and the multiple quotes are beyond my skill sets. Blood pressure was the beginning of last week. This past sunday one side of his face was all swollen....cracked tooth. He's doing well and still the sweetest cat I've ever owned and I've always owned multiple (OK...I also have multiple dogs and bunnies lol) very easy to pill. Re deafness....he compensates very well visually, actually took me a while to figure he failed the can opener test, he does watch everything going on. A rescue from a shelter that when I saw him I almost fainted. He's a black smoke colored cat. Beautiful and somewhat rare, short haired so I feel it looks better than the long haired version. I'd always wanted one. Another trivia lol (eta....he looks black but when he moves you can see the pure white undercoat) I have too many cat/dog/bunny stories so have to quit!
  4. Arrgh....Ok I got to see Carolyn lose.....but....she's a cat person?!? Noooo! Interesting trivia maybe.....took my oldest, 16 years old, cat to the vet last week. He's gone deaf and had started meowing very loudly. Was it because of the deafness and he couldn't hear himself or something else. Vet took his blood pressure. My jaw dropped. He shaved a bit off his tail and took the blood pressure there, doppler ear thingies. Doubt it will ever be on Jeopardy but just in case. BTW he's now on blood pressure meds! d
  5. Considering I'm 65 years old and nothing is working quite like it used to I can't imagine what a young persons ears felt like, and turning down volume loses the other players. Two things I wonder about.....are ratings slipping and 1. do they think the shenanigans will attract younger viewers? 2. do they think the older faithful viewers can't hear? I don't remember (among many other things) how long I've been watching Jeopardy but.....for as long as I can remember lol. Tonight since someone seems to have a relative but after that......well.....I'm in decent health but not in the mood to waste any of the half hours I have left on something that irritates and frustrates me (especially since I used to love it) when I don't have to. (but the forum is always fun....lately more than the show) d
  6. What's with all the loudness? I bailed on the college 2 weeks because of shouting contestants. Barely made it through Randy. Then today while the volume was much less the new champ just hit my last nerve with her not quite shouting. It's time for me skip Jeopardy till it's too hot to do anything else and then too cold to do anything else. Geez....never thought I would say that.
  7. Me too!!!! Of course I sang it without knowing what a paw paw was.
  8. I watched the 1st show, a few minutes of the 2nd then bailed. I didn't even want to read about it in the forums and just came here today to see if it was over yet lol.
  9. Yes! As soon as todays game started I remembered that. I left the room and I can still hear whoever that middle guy is. Think I'll start DVRing and reading here first to see if I really want to watch!
  10. I was so unimpressed that when I came to this forum today I couldn't recall any of the players till I read a few posts.
  11. It showed up on my facebook that they're announcing the athletes on April 13th.
  12. Boy I've been away for a long time. First it was just irritation with the show....is it having a bigger tv screen than in the past that makes me so easily irritated? Because I'm old? Then NCAA came along and of course Jeopardy disappeared. First game I've see in a looong time was last night, and once again I have no desire to watch for a probably equally long time. I was too stunned to even think about answers.
  13. So glad that after yesterday I skipped the game today but this is starting to happen way too often now.
  14. Don't be so sure about the Goodwill. I'm retired and needed part time work to supplement social security. Worked for a while at the local Goodwill. Constant pushing for everyone to work faster, increase production, complaints that they were losing money. I won't shop there anymore.
  15. It's hard to put my thoughts into words that won't offend especially since I don't mean to. The pond, the trailor, that looked awesome to me, for K and M2. Then, for those of you have watched fb videos, Tia's house. Not at all fancy, fixed up etc. It actually makes my house look good (and it's not in good shape either lol). I just get the vague feeling she's providing for the kids to make sure they continue and with the talk of AJ's possible up coming parole wonder if she's heading back for California and maybe returning to wolf rescue or something. The contrast in how she lives and the kids live is big. Or maybe my brain is just frozen
  16. I felt like I got weird vibes from these shows. Maybe it's from what I consider the over the top pond. I'm on social security and struggle with caring for all my pets. If I need a collar I buy the most useful one with no frills cheaply as possible but still quality. I also kinda felt she was leading towards kids taking over and posted on facebook about most frequently asked questions she replied: What's going on with "AJ" (probably our most asked question) ANSWER: AJ was featured in the first season just to give some background on Tia's life. The status of their relationship is private. It wasn't private when she tried to sway things with the TV show. Will she be moving back to California for him? Maybe I'm just cranky from the extreme cold....and the mouse that has invaded my house because of it and the fear of the mayhem when/if the 2 of my 3 pitties that have caught same in my yard realize there's one in here and compete with the cats chasing it. They're mixes and 70 and 90 lbs. It will be destruction!
  17. Count me in with those glad Donna is gone. All I could think was that I couldn't imagine being in the same movie theater with her constant commentary (though less on monday than on friday) d
  18. I've been fluctuating on watching the show since Negan was introduced. Have 3 or 4 still on my DVR unwatched and I just come here and watch TTD to keep up. My disgust at Negan knows no bounds. Glen and Abraham had to die to show just how big and bad he was. Carl, if what I got from TTD is right, dies to foster Rick showing mercy to Negan. All this for a swaggering egotistic arrested development narcissist abandon all hope idiot. Real life is bad enough, I've deleted TWD from my dvr schedule.
  19. I've never heard of her.......but I almost turned off the TV Ben was irritating me so much.
  20. It felt really weird. I know of and have been in both Corydon Indiana and Seymour Indiana where 2 of the contestants were from. But still liked the grape guy but I've forgotten where he was from lol
  21. This is beyond stupid. I wasn't happy about the probability of it being Abraham, though that would of been more logical. It also would of continued my disgust at the Negan character with his cold blooded murder of people he had captive and at his mercy. No backstory or character arc will ever redeem him in my eyes and the reminder would be right on my TV screen.....assuming I watched it. But Morgan?? They're bleeding off a popular character from an already growing anemic show to prop up what should be a do not resuscitate show. I didn't watch the episode from last week. I DID watch The Talking Dead and read these forums. I'm not sure I'll bother to watch it. Yesterdays showings I may just skip. These forums have become much more entertaining than any of the shows.
  22. I have always loved Lindsay A and her choreography. But not this season. It seems to me (my style of dancing is just wiggle and have fun) she was awesome when she had someone not so great and creativity ruled. I'm sure her freestyle was expert choreography and expertly executed by Jordan but I missed the absolute fun I've seen her do before. (I don't even remember who but her freestyle with that moving walkway still blows me away with fun factor)

    S08.E04: Some Guy

So depressing. Daryl has been brought down to rock bottom as has Rick. Now Ezekiel. Any animal that has poked its nose out dead (couldn't Shiva have devastated Ezekiel by leaving him for another man? (tiger)?) Now we get Negan next week? I can't. I just can't. It's all doom and gloom even those we didn't know about (Morales). Never once any hope or glimmer of happiness and none anticipated. I think I need to watch the Grinch.
  24. I'm old but I was sitting there thinking what in the world is Manga?
