IMO Bad Egg has orchestrated this whole mess for publicity. He's been trying to get famous for years. He gave himself his nickname and already had patches and stickers made before filming. I think he saw what happened to Darcey, Jesse, etc and saw an opportunity. He specifically picked a young woman (young and pretty) from a poor country because he thought odds would be in his favor. He also liked the idea of being a knight in shining armor. He and Rose had only been "dating" for 3 months, so I think he must've applied quickly after meeting her. Dude hired himself a publicist and started his celebrity campaign before the season aired. Podcasts, YouTube channels, ezines, etc were flooded for hype. (Hell, his Insta bio read "soon to be reality tv star".) When Tim pointed out that other cast members had more sm followers he continued to purchase some of his own until he surpassed them. He reached out to other famous people and hijacked their posts with comments about himself for free publicity. (In my industry we call it "black hat advertising".) He never intended to marry Rose. That's why he didn't tell her about the planned vasectomy-he knew it would be his exit strategy because he knew how important kids are to her. Probably thought everyone would take his side, but just in case he peppered his talking heads with a breadcrumb trail of Rose's impure intentions (using him for the green card). He thought he'd cultivate this quirky, loveable persona that everyone would root for. And that once they broke up his publicity campaign would carry on as he made his social media rounds with his broken heart. He planned it well, but he did NOT count on being unable to hide his true colors for that long or Rose having a backbone. I hope to goodness this smug little turd disappears soon.

Hell, in my daydreams she's Lana and has taken in 75% of what he's paid the website. It's his smugness that makes him slappable. Everyone else is wrong and stupid.

The money they got from the show was remarkably small and with the way he ate probably only bought a month or two of food. Payment basically covers a little for moving (renting U-haul, food on the road) and first month's rent. What they may have been hoping for was celebrity perks from being on the show: GFM, other donations, gifts, television appearances, etc. They probably didn't count on people hating them. My second guess is that they, like many, thought Dr. Now would do immediate surgery and that after James could continue doing what he always does and watch as the pounds magically melt away...

I saw this and while I want to cheer her on, are we sure this is her real page? She's had trouble with people stealing her pictures and pretending to be her. (I hope it is, though.)

I think it's bullshit, too. He appeared to be legitimately upset with Ukrainian Peg Bundy and she was insisting that Lana is fake, too. If what he commented was true, then whether the show edited it out or not wouldn't he at least have told her those things? Or the dude with sparkling teeth? His friends don't believe him and IMO that's not a product of editing. If I were Anya I'd dump his ass. Who'd want to remain friends with someone who talked about you like that?

As a bastard myself who had one of my own, I think having a child "out of wedlock" is the least of their issues. And him being friendly with his baby mama is one of his few positive attributes.

He only said it was Graves after people on Instagram suggested it. At first he said he'd never heard of that but then after many people insisted he probably had it he started going along with them. Per the original discussion it didn't sound like he'd ever been officially diagnosed.

It's not, but the other source was someone who claimed to know Avery and said she'd met him herself. Since anyone online can say that it's not super legit, either. And then this: I don't know that it matters if he did or didn't. They're apparently broken up now. He said so yesterday on Instagram.

Everything Ed did for "Rose" was for himself: supposedly sent the sheets and grill he needed, a "vacation" because he was uncomfortable in her house, lingerie and bikini for him to look at, toothbrush and toothpaste because her breath was bothering him, and a pedicure (that he himself had as well) because he needed air conditioning...None of it was for her.

I want to know, too. They only get paid while filming and it's not a huge amount. Not a livable wage for an entire year. He's not commanding big bucks from sponsors and, at most, probably just gets some spending money from Cameo's. And he doesn't seem to book a lot of private events. Flying to Toronto, flying back to England, renting hotel rooms when not filming... it's weird. Maybe something online that he's embarrassed to admit because it's not glamorous?

Even if the seminar was a last-minute setup by the producers, I think his reactions were very real. The difficulty maintaining composure, inability to think on his feet, unable to accept criticism or answer reasonable questions-all of that looked legit to me.

The entertainment bar has been reset to very low. I mean, we've more or less been isolated for the past two months. An exciting day for me is when I get a package from Amazon Prime and I can exchange words with the delivery guy through the screen.

He spent more than that in postage just shipping the special sheets for his special skin and the grill to cook his special food. (IF he really did that at all...) I trust you so mach. About 55%. 😘

You and me both! I don't want to exaggerate here, but Ash's combative freak out felt like emotional abuse: goading, criticizing, dehumanizing, gaslighting, shaming... That shit's not entertaining to me. It made me very uncomfortable.
