  1. Rose wouldn't have needed anchor babies if she'd come over on a K-1. What people tend to think of as "anchor babies" no longer exists and hasn't for a few years. It was mainly helpful for women who came over illegally or on short-term visas (like a student visa), neither of which would have applied to Rose. If Ed had brought her over on a K-1 then that would have set her on a fast track to permanent residency. She'd have had her green card a lot faster than if she'd had a baby with him. Within 2 years she could have married him, applied for permanent residency, and had her restrictions lifted (which would have allowed her to more or less go on her way). The "anchor baby" process (which, again, no longer exists in the way people think of it) would have taken twice as long and tied her to Ed for the next 18 years. Having a baby while going through the K-1 process offered no benefits to us whatsoever. It didn't make the processing time any faster. The ONLY incentive it might have offered was a faster interview time during the process. Then again, it was close to lunchtime and our interviewer may have just been hungry. My guess is that Rose wants more children because she's young and from a culture that values large families.
  2. Because women are always judged more harshly than men and held to higher standards, especially mothers-which isn't fair to the women or the men.
  3. Not really sure what you mean by Avery not having her kids' dad's in their lives. That's just not true. She's been very clear about her kids' dads being active. She even went so far as to correct someone for calling her a "single parent." "Gallivanting about the globe sniffing balls" is exactly what HE was planning on doing. It was mentioned in almost every single episode that he wanted to move to America. The entire scene with Sian in this episode centered around him relocating to America and being so far away from Taj. And from what Sian said, Ash ABSOLUTELY would be "leaving his kid behind" if the relationship continued, not Avery. Avery left her kids for less than two weeks-Ash was planning on leaving for four years. Avery did not"randomly wander off" to meet her boyfriend. She was gone on a 10-day trip, with a camera crew in tow, to visit a man with whom she'd been cultivating a relationship with for over a year. He was neither random, not was she wandering. This wasn't Robert moving a woman he'd only met once into his son's bed with him. This wasn't Anna bringing a strange man who can't speak English home to live with her 3 kids. This wasn't Nicole taking her toddler away from her support system to stay with a man who clearly doesn't want a future with her. This wasn't any number of cast members who have brought over spouses or fiances without introducing them to their kids first. This was simply a woman who was responsibly, and safely, spending time with someone she'd already formed a relationship with to see if they should move forward. Her children were cared for back home. I've literally left my kids with their dad on work trips longer than that. Technically, Ash brought a "random woman wandering 12000 miles" to meet his son. He lied to her about saying Sian didn't have a problem with him taking Taj to America. He also lied about how long he'd been divorced.
  4. Next week should be the wrap up and then there will be 2 Tell All episodes. Those may air on the same night.
  5. At least that's what he's saying now... such a swell gentleman he is.
  6. Similar hair, but I've seen 80s pictures of him and they're not quite the same.
  7. Interviewer: David, have you spoken to her since you returned to the US? David: Well not yet, but there's a big time difference and it's cold there and it will be Christmas soon so she's busy and she's blonde so by law she can only call Americans on Friday the 13th and this is an election year and she can't hold the phone because she uses slippery lotion and...
  8. I just turned 40 and due to a connective tissue disorder have to get all my teeth pulled and a full set of dentures when restrictions lift. I lost 8 teeth (they literally just crumbled) in 4 months. So I'm sympathetic to that shit and can't hate on her for that. Everything else, though, I am HERE for!
  9. My husband literally sat here and refused to leave until he was sure that Varya was safe in the car.
  10. No way was Stephanie really into Erika. And after tonight's display, I think she's confusing bisexual with bipolar.
  11. Ha ha ha! Geoffrey thinking he's going to guilt trip a Russian woman. Dude. Ed stomping away like a toddler all, "But I bought her a toothbrush!"
  12. Great. Because of this show, all I'm getting are pest control ads featuring mice.
  13. When someone chooses a mat on a floor and showering out of a bucket over you, you know some self reflection wouldn't hurt.
  14. The tea was spilt about Lana several days ago and it shook us all. There's more info in the couples threads. She may be real, but I think the relationship is. Yes. The stripper dating the Muslim guy, Daya, for one.
  15. Nicole physically struck Azan on multiple occasions.
  16. Lana's website was all, "You'd better show up or else we'll look like a scam site! Here's €200."
  17. There are definitely some shenanigans going on, and I don't think David is smart enough to realize it. Her site paid her (or threatened to remove her profile) or Sharp offered to pay her. There was definitely a third party involved, and David's such a smug asshole that I don't even care.
  18. Yes, ugh. ROSE is the one without class?! Rose?! He publicly embarrassed her by criticizing and shaming her home, her past, her family, and her body. He even created a fake Instagram account so that he could continue to call her "stinky" and make fun of her. He makes inappropriate comments to underage girls during his Instagram live sessions and brags about the women who want to sleep with him. But, by all means, let's talk about how terrible SHE is. Ugh.
  19. In the very first episode he even said he was going to have one and he didn't know how to tell her. Nice that he waited until AFTER they'd had sex and he'd met her family. Also, he criticized and criticized her and talked about things with her that might change HIS mind, all while knowing he held something that would change hers.
  20. That's why I was up at 3am posting them and downloading the file. YouTube removed them as quickly as they went up. If you didn't see them or download them a few days ago, chances are you won't.
  21. I'm sorry it's a wall. It's not meant to be, it lost formatting when I pasted it. The one on this thread is only about Lisa and Usman. The one under the show spoilers is a play-by-play of the entire show. And it has paragraphs.
  22. Who said there wasn't any evidence? You could say that about every single thing these people say, but then we'd have nothing to talk about.
  23. Agree. I still think someone paid her to be there.
  24. He did. She even asked him if he could take time to think about it and he said no, that he was sure.
