  1. That wasn’t my quote you referenced. I was responding to someone else.
  2. It seemed to be a published book about the Yellowjackets saga. Shauna took it to mean that he had been researching her.
  3. She was high on mushrooms. I don't think logic can be applied here.
  4. Unless I missed it did they kill or eat anyone in that episode? I guess you are assuming that in future episodes they eat mushrooms again and become cannibals? I have been assuming that the cannibalism starts when they run out of food and people start dying.
  5. Are you referring to the Jackie scene where she is in uniform on the soccer field? If so, could that be a foreshadowing to something that happened in the forest?
  6. While I enjoy watching the show there is really nothing happening. Laura Lee's failed attempt was just about it in this episode. I don't like being strung along with the "who is Adam" storyline. Even if he is Javi, so what? I think the show got too "This Is Us"-like with having multiple time periods. The teen survival story line is interesting. The adult story line just seems forced.
  7. Melanie Lynskey. She is a terrific actress who has been in a lot of shows and movies since her early role with Kate Winslet in "Heavenly Creatures." My favorite role of hers was in "Two and a Half Men" as Rose, Charlie's stalker-neighbor.
  8. What I don’t understand about the blackmailing part is why bother to make the payment? Can’t the 4 women just deny what this person says about what happened 25 years ago? Why would Nat even care what someone thought of her?
  9. I am finding the adult storyline so stupid and convoluted that I don’t really care what happens. Tai as an adult isn’t a believable character. Shauna is supposed to be smart but she sleeps with Adam in her home in her bed, not having any idea when Jeff is coming home? The whole blackmail story is just dumb. Misty being creepy is fun to watch but how could she have accumulated such an arsenal of drugs without anyone knowing? She is stealing full vials of pills. I am enjoying watching the teenagers trying to survive. Move of that.
  10. Maybe I am in the minority but i don’t think these shows are meant to be watched frame by frame so that the viewer can play detective. If the story doesn’t come across via normal viewing then it hasn’t been made well.
  11. If Jeff isn't having an affair then the show is working really hard to convince us that he is. He has been seen at a hotel with a woman (who Shauna doesn't seem to know) and repeatedly goes to the store at night to "fix" an inventory database issue (hard to believe this can't be fixed during normal business hours). I really hate when shows do that.
  12. As someone alluded to earlier, Misty did go all Misery on the reporter. I really like the crash survival storyline with all the teenagers and the coach. I am finding the adult stories to be a bit boring, even the blackmail parts.
  13. How did Misty get Nat's wifi password? Did the Nat and Misty print out all those pictures? I find it hard to believe how easily Misty laid out them out and drew the symbol. I am finding the storyline with the teenage girls in the woods much more interesting than the adult fallout. Am I correct that Shauna's husband is Jackie's HS boyfriend and who impregnated her and that their current daughter is not the baby Shauna is carrying?
  14. This writer certainly feels like Tom has been on Team Logan for a while. https://www.vulture.com/article/succession-season-3-finale-foreshadowed.html
  15. I agree that the most “important” reveal in the finale was Shiv’s understanding that her husband had gone behind her back. SS’s reaction and attempt to remain composed after that point was award-worthy. I don’t think it ever crossed her mind that Tom could be on the other side.
  16. Do you not think Tom was the one who alerted Logan to the fact that the 4 kids were meeting and thus resulted in Logan sending doughnuts?
  17. Maybe, but I think that is the reality. When he met with Kendall at the diner he was already in Logan’s pocket. He made the comment that Logan always wins and that was his likely his motivation for teaming with Logan. Also, I don’t think he would have been so quick to allow himself to take the fall for Waystar and go to jail if he didn’t think Logan would take care of him. He knew Logan would because they were already working together. If at any time prior to the wedding Shiv had shown more love and allegiance to Tom he may have changed courses. But, at every turn Shiv pushed Tom towards Logan. She got what she deserved. Finally, every scene for Tom with Greg is important because Greg is the only person with whom Tom feels like he has the upper hand. All the others have power over him. Tom needs Greg to feel better about himself.
  18. Not only that, he has dozens of lawyers and advisors at his fingertips. It is foolish to think that the kids knew of the clause but he didn't. (I know you know this.) I think Tom has been a mole all season. It is my guess that he was the one who alerted Logan that the 4 kids were meeting which prompted Logan to send doughnuts. You don't get to be as wealthy and powerful as Logan without having people working for you everywhere, including your daughter's husband.
  19. I agree but he would want a signed agreement in place and not have to worry that Caroline would flip (again) after speaking to one of the kids. That's why I don't think the revised agreement had been hashed out in the preceding 20 minutes since the kids left the wedding.
  20. We don't know that the prior call with Logan and Caroline covered. Maybe he had called her to give her a heads up that the kids were coming to contest the deal and he was going to have to tell the that the divorce agreement had been altered. Logan knew exactly what was in the agreement and the potential for the kids to overrule him. I doubt he left that possibility up to chance. After all, Caroline was at her wedding. How did he know she would be free to talk to him?
  21. All Tom did was alert Logan to the fact that the 3 kids were coming for him. Logan had already made a deal with Caroline. Tom just gave Logan a heads up. Tom is probably hoping that Logan put in a good word with Mattson so he can retain a top position at the company. My bet is that Logan had already changed the agreement with Caroline. I don’t think he would leave that up to chance. He knew that an attempted coup was always possible.
  22. I think she was trying to act like Tom didn’t really hurt her but she knows he did. She has no other move.
  23. It does feel as though Shiv will be the one to take Logan down since it is for the right reasons (his willingness to support anyone just to remain on top) and she is much smarter than Kendall.
  24. I don't think that is what they were doing. They could always just buy up shares of the company regardless of who is in control. Once they did that they could then exercise their voting rights to put their people in control of the board. In addition, in order for S/S/S to buy up those shares they would have to raise more capital. Most would not want to do that. I think it is a simple as them saying to the shareholders that "the Roys have run the company into the ground and have pending lawsuits related to the cruise allegations. We can 'right the ship' and turn the company around if you vote for our board of directors."
