I agree with the bolded, except for one thing - What if the support dries up? I mean, I can offer to pay your bills and give you spending money ... then next month say "oh, you know what? I think you need a smaller apartment" - look at Mark he took Nikki dress shopping, promised to buy her whatever dress she liked - she picked an INCREDIBLY moderately priced dress, then he says "oh no! sorry. Too much". If Devar was smart, he would have kept working - even if Mel was sending money. Like Dr Phil's goofy ass said "so? the problem would be to have too much money?". It reminds me of Eddie Murphy's stand up where he talked about Johnny Carson and his wife. How the wife would hand him her paycheck for like $30 and be like "here, Johnny, put it with the rest" of his billions.

In addition to what's been mentioned, I'd like to see: 1. Someone with REAL wealth bring someone over. No "why couldn't this loser find someone in the lower 48?" talk. Someone like Trump lol. 2. An older woman with a younger man. Yes, I know, Dani - but for real this time with less desperation and diminished mental capacity. 3. Foreigners with options (for lack of a better word) - I don't want to see another uneducated bride from a poor area. Show me a foreign doctor from England or Finland wanting to move here for love (and not a promise of "a better life").

I doubt Mark could afford that lawyer. I think? It may have been a "free" consultation - which is why he told her what was wrong with it and NOT to sign. You want more? Like notations, suggestions, and modifications - you retain the attorney and pay. I bet TLC found the attorney, but that no one paid him.

One of the most telling points for me was when Mark talked about the 100's of dates he'd been on, the ex wife who left with him 4 kids (sans diapers this time) and then Nikki is asked about what she loves about Mark and she says that she can be herself with Mark ... UNLIKE WITH HER OTHER BOYFRIEND. She's had ONE boyfriend - I'm assuming it's because she met Mark when she was 15? 16? That girl has NO life experience, compared to this asshole who knows so much about the world and how we are all fat, lonely, jealous bitches. She looked terrified to me.

I remember one of our posters mentioning that TLC trolls (for lack of a better word) K1 visa forums and just this past episode I saw the black screen asking to call them if you know anyone going through the process. The comparison to a songbird is absolutely perfect! She really DID seem happy and not at all resigned to the situation. She seemed eager to make the best out of it; compared to now where she seems more like she's just trying to survive the minimum time allotted for her sentence. I think they BOTH went into it assuming that the transaction would be mutually beneficial - and so far, other than a plane ticket TO the USA - Nikki has lost at every turn. The poor girl doesn't even have a REAL FUCKING RING. I get "proposing" with the zip-tie to see if she was truly doing this for the right reasons, etc - but for fuck's sake the girl uprooted her life and lays with you on those dusty fucking zebra sheets in your dark ass wood house on the water - upgrade her. I don't know what to make of him - because if she was supposed to be his trophy wife (the way he was trying to show her off on the beach) wouldn't he want her decked out in a way to showcase what a catch she is and the fact that SHE chose HIM as a testament to his virility ??? Instead, he gives her a car older than her that she can't drive and is the same make/model as the car he bought the ex. The same ex who left him with 4 kids in diapers.

Noon & Kyle - lovely. I hope they have the most wonderful lives ahead of them. Loren & Alexei - ugh. She is ALL about the wedding and not so much about the marriage. Melanie & Devar - ugh. Nikki & Mark - what exactly was the point of taking her to NYC to go dress shopping, only to then be like "sike"? That was emotionally abusive and another attempt to break her down. Carolina & Fernandito - that conversation between Carolina and his mother in english was so awkward and uncomfortable. Why couldn't they just speak spanish and have it subtitled!? Aleksandra & I don't know his name - the entire time the brothers were getting on him about the wedding night all I could think was "these guys have a raging clue"

That's all well and good, when you're Noon or Carolina - but ONCE YOU HAVE A CHILD? You get your ass to David's Bridal and get a dress for $400 and save the other $2000 for your CHILD. I would give her a slight pass on the rings because you wear them 24/7 - so you may not want gold plated silver - but what's wrong with white gold instead of platinum? Pick up the platinum bands for your 10 year anniversary. But a dress that you wear ONCE for a couple of hours? SHE doesn't have that luxury - since she's unable to afford it. I think Mel & Devar are equally yolked in the looks department - I think they're both below average facially - but above average in physique. POOR Carolina. Not only does she have to worry about being smothered by Fernandito's huge fucking tits and not being discovered for days in that over stuffed hoarder house - but she has to deal with his mother on a daily basis. Latinos are funny/weird to outsiders because of all the in-fighting between the different nationalities. I am Cuban, but refused to marry a Cuban because I didn't want a Cuban mother in law - Fernandito's mom is a pretty good representation. He has NO intention of standing up to her or defending his wife. I think his first marriage ending had a lot less to do with his cheating and more to do with his mother and his reaction to her. It reminds me of Kandi Burress (Real Housewives of Atlanta) and how nasty her mother was to her husband, his mother, her friend, etc - but Kandi would dismiss it as 'no big deal' and "that's just how my mama is". Just because YOU are willing to be abused by your mother doesn't mean that other people have to put up with it.

Poor Aleksandra. Her life is going to be miserable. At first I thought Loren was moving to Florida to ... uhm ... preserve her virtue; at least give the impression of doing so publicly. I don't understand what the fascination is with getting these shitty tattoos from shitty "artists". I have both my arms done and have paid from $200-350/hour (+tip) for my pieces - I only have one that was a straight "that will be $200" and it is just lettering. THIS SHIT IS FOREVER! One of mine was close to $2,000 and done by a popular artist (he does Rihanna and Katy Perry and others) and I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it on a daily basis (when I go outside) - but the thing that ALWAYS gets me is the folks who will come up to me, gush about how awesome it is, and then ask how much. When I tell them? They dismiss it and insist on showing me their OWN tattoo that they got for $300 and how they could have gotten the same tattoo as mine for that much. No. No you couldn't. Javi, Kail, Maci, etc all have these incredibly shitty tattoos and whenever I see them "shout out" an artist (because I LOVE going to different artists and collecting pieces) I make a mental note to NEVER visit not only that artist - but their entire shop. Ever. I have yet to see ONE decent tattoo on any of these Teen Moms or their partners. ONE.

Melanie/Devar- Why can't she go on qvc.com and order up some nice diamondique (or however it's spelled) ?? Or go to Kay or some such bullshit store and get whatever rings they have on sale this week? I have an ex who graduated from college and then moved back home. His parents "gave" him their house since they were near retirement and didn't want to show assets. So on PAPER it was HIS house ... decorated completely in lace doilies and curtains with plastic on the "good" velour furniture. SO many "good" men out there taking care of their parents. /sarcasm

I loved pretty much the entire Chicago cast! They look MUCH cleaner and moisturized :) Their art is also much more skilled. I did find myself comparing the casts, if that makes sense. There's the O'Shit, Teddy, and even their version of Sky.

I think the comment about them ONLY having 17 kids being SMALL for a polygamous family was a dig at Meri - lol. I get that there are some stepfathers that fall into the roll of dad pretty easily. I can't imagine it feels good to be his biological daughter and be getting the same bonding treatment as these new daughters.
