  1. I've never had a problem getting into the Bluebird for shows, but your best bet is to do the early show because they specifically have 20 or so seats reserved for the non-reservation line. If you try to do the late show, the available seats are based on the people who don't show up for their reservation. I've also never had a problem because I got there super early. The early show starts around 6 (or 6:30) and I got there to line up around 3:45/4:00 (they let you in at 5:00 or 5:30, I think). Also, remember that we're Central Time! While I was in line, a lady from New York was looking at her watch, complaining that they hadn't let us in yet, but she didn't know that we were an hour behind.
  2. I feel like I'm splitting hairs at this point, but when Hope was talking about how clear she made it to Liam that if he didn't show up at the Eiffel tower it meant their relationship was over, I was like, "Err?" She and Liam had just had a fight over her acceptance of the Dope Diamond and what kind of signals it sent to Wyatt when she was like, "Whatever. Let's just get married." And she left it unresolved. "I'm gonna be there. I hope you will, too." I'm not saying that Liam not showing up at the Eiffel tower would have sent the best signal for their relationship. To me, it just would have meant that he wasn't ready to get married because they still have some things that were unresolved between them.
  3. Yes, I forgot to add that this actually gives Hope some kind of agency on the show instead of just floating around with the ethereal light of heaven shining on her upturned face.
  4. Oh, Ivy. If I didn't like you before, I love you now! Hope's cracked face when she was eavesdropping on Ivy and Aly was a thing of beauty. And when Ivy called her on her passive aggressive Princess tra-la-la-la-laing -- "Don't stop talking on account of me; Mmm. Yes, Maya does have a beautiful smile." -- all while staring daggers at Ivy, it was so great. Steffy wasn't my favorite, but I like this girl. Like, I wanna hang out with her for real. Hope blaiming Ivy for falling into the Seine instead of shouldering responsibility for not waiting was really rich. I can't wait until she finds out her coo-coo for cocoa puffs mother-in-law orchestrated the whole thing. Anyone who takes Hope down a notch is fine by me. That's one of the reasons I loved Quinn at first
  5. In the past, Mark-Paul has specifically called out relationships with Elizabeth and Lark (and putting a time period on them) while saying that he dated Tiffani "off and on." I think that Tiffani and Mario were the ones that ventured outside of their bubble to date (Tiffani was dating "Johnny Dakota" when that episode aired), so that makes sense that Tiffani and Mark-Paul would be off and on. Mark-Paul also talked about how Tiffani and Lark weren't talking to each other at one point, so again, I'm assuming that was probably during M-P & Tiff's on period, but before he and Lark started dating. See, I can provide more context/information than this movie!
  6. One of the problems for me was that the writing/portrayals seems to be stuck on how they probably were in the first couple of seasons, but not letting them mature as they grew. One problem was the actors. I could maybe buy them as the season one/season two version of the cast. Season three/season four? No. They were all hot and they all knew it. Not in a conceited way, but still. Case in point: Lark. I think she grew up a lot during the time on the show. She was never scandalous or anything, but they had her waling around in cardigans the whole time when the real Lark was wearing stuff like this.
  7. From what I know, Mark-Paul and Lark's legit dating came later in the series. Like Hawaiian Style movie/senior year/senior year with 100% more Tori. Basically the part that the movie rushed over. This stuff in the movie seemed like what happened for the first couple of years of the series, which is believable to me.
  8. Yeah, they all had letterman jackets made for the executives and the cast. Peter just wore his all the time and considered it something of a uniform. Plus, was just really proud of the show. Okay, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be -- it was just boring, and that's even worse. I'm fairly obsessed with this show, so they showed me nothing that I didn't already know (or if I didn't know, I didn't care to know, either). Like I said, earlier, I was just trying to nail down some specifics on the whole Mark-Paul/Lark deal, and I was fairly satisfied with what I saw. Those actors were so bland. I think that the one playing Berkley might have been the best -- her hair was definitely better than the real Berkley's. I don't remember TAT's mole being so...pronounced.
  9. Read an upcoming spoiler that This is why I can't with this dude. Who cares that he's been loyal to only Hope when he's an asshole in every other respect.
  10. Ooh. Good call. Should the hashtag be PT specific? Otherwise, Livetime keeps hashtagging Unauthorized in their tweets, which I think is hilarious.
  11. I think that Hi-Five had more crossover success, but Troop had more Top 20 R&B singles. "I Like The Way" was magic -- everyone knows that song.
  12. This. Also, when Caroline was going off the rails, making unwanted advances on Rick, they brought on a friend for her. Rafael was there as a confidant and a co-conspirator. Oliver could have been that for Maya, but she tanked that relationship. Even so, he was still nice enough to tell her not to embarrass herself on Friday. I don't like that the characters on the show were all "Oh, that crazy Caroline. Gotta love her. She has a heart of gold underneath it all." during her hijinks and Maya is just a joke that everyone snickers at.
  13. Not for me since Caroline issues with Maya were mainly class based and Dayzee was about 2 steps out of a cardboard box her damn self. Dayzee's issue seemed to be that she didn't want any part of her past messing with her new Forrester life, but she apologized once Rick and Maya actually got together.
  14. No, they didn't do a retcon of a retcon, but they don't mention it much, which I think is realistic. Especially since Ridge's "real" dad (Massimo Marone) is God knows where. Ridge was in his mid-40s when he found out (and Eric in his...what...late 60s when he found out? How old is Eric, anyway?) and so the man that he always knew as "dad" continues to be his dad and the man that Eric considered to be his son for 40+ years is still that. It gets real sketchy when you try to section families out on this show. You have someone like Rick Forrester -- Eric Forrester, Jr. -- and he's considered a Logan (by whatever Logan hater is currently on the canvas). This I can kind of see, because it's not like Rick was raised by Eric. Eric was, I'd say, a couple of notches above an absentee father during Rick's early years (same with Bridget). Then on the other hand, you have Hope Logan, who should be considered a Forrester because she was raised by Ridge for a good portion of her life (off screen). When Hope was SORASed into Kim Matula, she was calling Ridge "dad" and considered Steffy her sister.
  15. The credits list her as writing the song (using her government name, along with her ex-husband, I think, and maybe one other person), but then it also says Performed by Lil' Mo. But that's Chante singing "The ups the downs" blah blah blah right? ETA: I just listened to the full version and that's not the same version that's used for the show. That's definitely two different voices on the one they play for the show.
  16. That's what I thought, too. She even thought that Alphabet Baby was her grandson for a period, too.
  17. I wasn't into Troop so much that I knew what they looked like, but as they were playing the videos I saw a cute one and I had the hardest time figuring out who he was based on the today interviews of the guys. I thought they were pulling a Hi-Five, switching members and they couldn't get the cute one in to tape a segment. While I finally figured out it was Allen, I couldn't take it. What the heck happened. I'm glad Steve cut his hair since the BET Awards (or maybe he grew it out for the BET Awards). Either way, I don't like that hair. For whatever reason, it reminds me of the hair of a newly freed slave. And what's up with the "Harts" at the end of his name now?
  18. Question: the theme song this year is obviously Lil' Mo and Chante, right? Just those two. Why do the credits at the end only say that Lil' Mo is performing that song?
  19. Next week. No, Thorne and Taylor are still in Paris. Taylor was going to go back to Paris alone and Thorne was going to stay in L.A. to be with Aly, but she forgave Taylor and gave her blessing for them to be together. Thorne - Paris Taylor - Paris Thomas - who knows (Paris?) Mushmouth - South Africa Dayzee - who knows RJ - boarding school Jack - who knows Donna - she was at Hope and Wyatt's party last week Caroline - visiting her moms
  20. That's true, but as many people keep brining up, we have no idea why he's so in love with Hope. She saw him showering in the woods, took a picture of him naked, he chased her, she knocked herself unconscious, he kissed her while she was knocked out, stalked her to bring her back her phone, she invited him to that 4th of July party (not as her date -- Liam was her date, he was just super late, getting resolution on the end of his marriage like she told him to) and then a few days (or maybe a week) later, Liam threw a ring in a fountain for Hope to find, and they were engaged. There was zero time for either of them to form this deep bond that neither of them could shake -- that was done during the course Hope and Liam's engagement.
  21. My people. I'm with you in that this movie looks TERRIBLE and with Dustin Diamond as an executive producer, who even know what garbage will be spewed. But I'm still watching it. The only thing giving me hope are the little sprinkles of the Mark-Paul/Lark dating situation. In the first promo picture, the actress playing Lark had her arms around the one playing Mark-Paul. Then in the first promo, "Elizabeth" mentions "Lark"'s crush on "Mark-Paul" and in this most recent one, they're holding hands. The fact that Zack and Lisa dated for one episode and they were never mentioned again while Mark-Paul and Lark were simultaneously in a "long term" relationship has annoyed me for decades. I'll take resolution anyway I can find it.
