  1. Haven't been to these forums in quite a while so not sure if I'm just not finding it, but there used to be episodes of each show so the episode could be discussed individually. Anyway, I just finished I think episode 5, binge-ing. I'm diggin' this show. They did really well at mixing some pretty dark situations with comedy and making it a little lighter while still maintaining the discomfort. And I saw the beginning of the upcoming episode and it looks totally fun! Not sure how much I like the dad character though. The actor makes him likeable but his actions make him really unlikable so I'm torn on him.
  2. This show is totally my guilty pleasure, but it is so frustrating each time one person of a couple isn't attracted to the other person and the "experts" go into their whole "attraction isn't everything" mode. No, it isn't everything but it is very literally the initial building block that brings two people together so stop acting like that isn't a big deal! It IS a deal breaker!!
  3. I didn't get as much out of this first half of the season as others did. It felt a bit like Lucifer had jumped the shark, except that I always will love seeing these characters even if the plots are tired or contrived. The whole Michael thing has been done in every possible angel-related series known to man. We get it, Michael is an asshole. #overplayed. I would have liked to see the Dan finding out angle explored some more. He's the only character who is reacting appropriately to such news, and I get that it's a dramedy so you don't want to get too deep in the fact that our protagonist is the actual devil or that Chloe is having sex with the actual devil, but we have dealt with a little bit of heavier stuff with Lucifer's feelings and obligations, so having that Dan subplot as the 'deep end' I think would have been a nice addition, but it seems it's not going to go anywhere at all and like all other characters Dan will just accept it. Stellar acting by the actor though in that moment when he was seeing Chloe defend Lucifer. It looked as real as you'd expect anyone finding out this info to act in real life - confused, horrified, aghast, and terrified all at once and he showed all those emotions perfectly. But otherwise everything seemed a little too contrived to me. Demons have no souls because they are created, but all of a sudden Maze isn't created, she has a mother who supposedly birthed her and gave her up. And all of a sudden Maze has deep feelings even though she has no soul which is supposed to be the premise for feeling most any emotion. I don't like it. It has fundamentally changed the Maze character into a lesser being IMO. Mazakien was supposed to be hell's most ruthless torturer and successful soldier to Lucifer and now she's a sniveling mess. Stop. I AM excited for Garcia to find out though. So that's something to look forward to.
  4. I also liked the show and I was shocked at the actions of the mom at the end. But I still don't understand the Grand Jury thing at all. Maybe I'm just dumb but I interpreted the wrap up as that the Grand Jury was to see if the wife's actions were intentional, which makes zero sense because it seems like they would be questioning her, not someone else who happens to be related to her. And even if they were interviewing others to make sense of her actions it still didn't make sense to me that they wouldn't interview her at all and she would only find out she wasn't going to get in legal trouble fromher husband having a Grand Jury trial. What was I missing there?? It truly made no sense to me.
  5. @LibertarianSlut That was a great breakdown of the James storyline. I know James has been an ass, but I honestly never felt James got a fair shake. Katie was flat out horrifying to multiple people, as was/is Jax, and it just gets brushed off, but everyone went after James hard core. Also, I agree that the reunion show with them all attacking him when it was brought up that he helps his family was straight up like Lord of the Flies disturbing. They ALL tried to justify their gang attack on another human being by making a false equivalency between themselves buying some fancy presents and a person literally giving thousands of dollars constantly to family members who would guilt him if he didn't have money to give them.
  6. Yeah, I have thought for a while that there was something more than the knife situation or why would we still be seeing this questioning (when the knife thing was brought up at the beginning). And I'm glad to hear there is one more episode because the current episodes ARE numbered "1 of 7" all the way up to "7 of 7" for the Job episode, so I'm going with you guys and maybe they just numbered them wrong. If that was the end it was a terrible ending. Wait! I just went to the Apple TV+ page and it says "Season 1" so is this no longer a miniseries and now it's a regular show?? Hmm.
  7. I am binge-ing the After Show clips on Youtube and watching these, I can't wait for the reunion show. It didn't feel like much happened this year, AND like many of you I wasn't a fan of the new people during the season, but now I actually like some of them. And one I particularly hated was that new brunette girl who is super confident in herself and young and basically takes a constant stance of "look at these boys falling all over me" and to the women she's like "okay old person". lol But now, those same personality traits, I kind of love about her because I think she puts some situations/people in their place - not to their faces but during this after show - so I think she will be a real asset at the reunion to cut through some BS. She calls out Lala about being up in James' business and ragging on Raquel ("what is she 30, and engaged? Like why does she even care...?"). She calls Stassi and Katie hypocrits for ragging on Raquel about her puppy party. I think her presence boosts Raquel's confidence, and although I also thought Raquel was annoying and an airhead, I like her more now too. So I feel like the feisty young one might cause the old crowd to be called out and then be able to make them feel 3 inches tall when she responds with some condescending "aren't you like 30?" LOLOL (and I'm over 40, but I work in a University and younger people DEFINITELY throw that shade often because there is really nothing we can say back - "well... you're young!" hee hee okay. lol)
  8. I like cnet for tech stuff but I will stick with science for how light water droplets are and how they suspend in air and eventually fall. Also, I mean, it's nothing to get mad over. If you like to use your toothbrush out in the open then do so. It's like you're mad at me for your poop mist. LOL
  9. I hope others are watching this because I am SO confused!! So this is a miniseries, not a series. And it says "episode 7 of 7" on the descrip of this episode. I assume that means this was the last episode. We did get the resolve of the guilty party but beyond that we get nothing. I still don't understand what the entire purpose of that grand jury trial the dad was going through was even about?! The miniseries started and ended with him being questioned and we never know why. What a terrible plot hole!!
  10. Is there a reason this forum just stopped updating?? the show is finished but I don't want to talk about it on episode 4 topic.
  11. Same, 40+, same, I have always found him utterly repugnant. And worse, not only is he unattractive, he's stupid. I hate stupid people. Disability? It's the southern way. Ew. Every time that water splashes infinitesimal droplets of water, so light that they float on air, rise up, and some make it out of that bowl and settle on all the things. Puke.
  12. I keep my toothbrush in a drawer and think it's weird and gross to leave your toothbrush just chillin' out with the poop air in your bathroom. That's disgusting. You are literally washing your mouth with your own poo!! Cover up the toothbrush and get it out of the open air of the bathroom. So gross! I have to agree. I didn't realize it even was the finale until reading the comments here. Agreed. Kristin doesn't have a roll if not included in the friend group. This is something I really wanted to address. I read every comment and no one mentioned the reality of that moment. I realize that because of this show nothing will likely happen addressing THIS incident, but Max just may, at some point in the future when he is no longer young and on TV, find himself learning a hard lesson about sexual harassment. He has thrown that "I hired you" line in Dayna's face a few times during PERSONAL conversations about their relationship that have zero to do with their working relationship. Max needs to learn to keep these things separate. Constantly bringing up his status as her superior during discussions about their previous sexual relationship comes off, to me, like he's basically telling her he can fire her whenever he wants because her actions bother him personally, not professionally. That's textbook sexual harassment!! He needs to get his shit together! And Jax - Jax clearly has a drug problem. It might be a combo of coke and roids, or who knows what, but you aren't constantly sweaty unless you are high or coming down. I agree that Jax got married to pull attention and that he had no actual interest in being married. Jax has been looking for ways to remain relevant since the TomTom announcement, and he has ragged on that en devour every chance he possibly can. He even tried to get the Toms to turn on Lisa in the beginning. I also agree that he will knock Brittany up as his next effort - if he can still get it up by then.
  13. Forgot one last thing - Rachel was high AF when she was being reemed by what's his name for missing her shift.
  14. Now that I'm done skeeving over Sheena wiping her crotch across a deputy's neck I can finally consider the rest of the episode. I don't agree with you guys about Sandavol. Or... maybe I agree that he wanted to show himself as the good guy but I don't think it was for "superiority" reasons, I honestly think it was because that pastor was so vile that he wanted to make sure everyone knew absolutely that he did not for one minute accept what that pastor was saying. I"m not trying to pretend Sandavol is some great human, just in this case I think his motives were slightly different than what the majority thinks was the motivation. I found it ridiculous that the whole group had a meltdown at just asking Jax why he didn't act sooner to get rid of the pastor. That's a legit question. And there is no way J&B didn't know all about his beliefs. I honestly think Brittany is more upset that he is no longer officiating than that he is a bigot! And let's all take note that "he is a family friend" - meaning her family is absolutely fine with those types of friends!! She's as "Kentucky" as they come!! She is a hillbilly who stalked a reality star across the country to sleep with him into a relationship and a part on the show. I"m hearing Reba MacEntire's (sp?) "Fancy" playing in the background as Brittany walked out the door on her way to the big city. It seems like that song was Brittany's blueprint!! And last, I agree that Arianna has changed drastically and for the worse and I think she is grasping at anything to keep herself on camera.
  15. Unfortunately there isn't a 'vomit' button.
  16. Jax and Brittany doth protest too much! I don't follow a single one of these fuckers on social media and even I knew that bigots, homophobes, and racists, seem to surround Brittany and Jax! Thay are as hillbilly as they come!! I have zero doubt that Brittany's family have confederate flgs flying, and as a Michgander myself, I know perfectly well that the UP, where Jax is from, is the backwoods Deliverance version of Michigan!! They are outing themselves with their little tantrum about something as simple as even mentioning the word "pastor" and they flip out!
  17. That seriously looked gross! It literally looked like Sheena was "wiping" herself on his head! It was sick and if I were that guy I would have been like 'bitch, get off me!'
  18. I already belong to TVForums but wasn't following this show. I came here to share in my frustration over Victoria and you guys did not disappoint! 🙂 I was already annoyed that she only designs one outfit over and over but then the pity party just put me over the top with her. She should have been eliminated AND I'm honestly MOST shocked that Christian didn't use his save!!!
  19. Or she could have looked at what 100% of the other designers were buying at Mood.
  20. Easy. Find a soothing place to calm down. I saw what I watch, which was Tom Sand telling Tom Schwa that Stassi didn't say anything to him about it. The clip is on YouTube so it doesn't require rewatching more than a 2 minute clip. The convo between T&T is between them. Stassi just had to make a scene, as she always does, and stomped up to them like a child with her typical "how dare you!" It is what it is. Stassi is a four year old and Tom thinks he's more important than he is. That's it.
  21. No, that's not how it went down. Rewatch it. FI Tom was talking to other Tom - he wasn't yelling at other Tom but he WAS whining about the bartender situation. But if Stassi hadn't walked up screaming that screaming event wouldn't have even happened. Stassi literally practically RUNS up to Sandavol (watch it!!) and immediately yells, very loudly, "Is there a frickin' issue?! What is not okay about having a bunch of customers in here buying drinks from your bar?!" Tom responded, in a REGULAR tone (not yell/loud), "I didn't get a single text messag---" And then he was cut off by Stassi's next diatribe, also at a yell, "Is ti because I didn't come to you and kiss your ring?!" and she just goes on and on and on forever on her rant from there. She's right that Tom was pissy because he wasn't included and that's it. BUT she is WRONG in the childish way she approached him and talked to him. SHE caused the scene, SHE did the temper tantrum fit in front of everyone. SHE caused the problem in public. She could have jsut talked to Tom like an adult but she wanted to make one of her little "I'm Stassi, I'm the best thing ever" little skits for everyone to see.
  22. That F-ing Apple Watch! I'm going to go back and watch the episode again to see if he even wears it! LOL my dog's "luggage" (well, when she was here; gone now; kills me) is an old army green duffle bag that was given to me at some point, and I used a Sharpie to write "Mazzy" (the pup) on it. 🙂 I didn't register this but now I wonder if that's why she went crawling back to Lisa about a job? Arianna's book is coming out soon but if she doesn't get air time to promote it then it isn't going to be a career defining moment for her and she will be right back to square one. Last - as for Tom and Stassi, I am clearly the odd man out here, but I don't believe Sandavol is "jealous" of Stassi even a tiny little bit. We have seen for years that Sandavol regards all those girls as petty and self-important mean girls (including his best friend's wife) and I think it jsut came to the point with Stassi that his buried rage about all things Stassi finally boiled over. He wasn't in the right at all, BUT I just rewatched that clip and I originally was all "Stassi is in the right here" but after the rewatch, no, NO!! Sandavol was wrong for the text. Absolutely. BUT Stassi was the one who came up out of nowhere in the bar and started throwing an absolute fit. Sandavol wasn't yelling, he didn't approach her or say absolutely anything to her until SHE stepped to him as soon as he came in, started ripping into him as loudly as she could, and then fueled her own vapid self-important rage as she really got going on a whole tirade. Sure, Tom isn't really an "owner" in the way he clearly is allowing the term to go to his head, and feel more important than he is, BUT STassi stepping to him in that way really WAS her stepping to an owner and just ripping them in public in their own place of business instead of being an adult and doing it in private.
  23. I agreed with so much of what you all said. I "liked" almost every comment! lol I also liked the Jax talk. I felt like Jax was being an honest to god friend to Kristin in that moment by NOT just bashing her and telling her she's stupid, and instead telling Carter that what he was doing to Kristin wasn't right and that they all saw that Carter was taking advantage of Kristin's inability to walk away. Along with that - does anyone actually know why Kristin and Carter are breaking up? Because clearly Kristin doesn't care that Carter is a lazy mooch at all (only the friends care about that) so what is the reason here?? Because Kristin clearly feels something special is being broken apart and acting as if they have no choice in the matter: "maybe he's upset because our family is breaking up!" ?? Is she JUST breaking up with him to satisfy her friends? I understand Carter is a worthless douche and Kristin needs a man who will truly appreciate her wiley ways, BUT Kristin genuinely doesn't seem to want to break up and we all know Carter isn't going anywhere unless he has to so... what is this reason again?? Sheena is seriously the woman in a Lifetime movie that is in the house of a man from her past, standing in the dark in the master bedroom, watching him and his wife sleeping, while ominous foreshadowing music plays in the background. I'm a Sandoval fan. He is pompous about his looks but otherwise I think he's the most real person on the show. He calls Stassi and Katie out on their shit, and he is so zen in how he can still be a great friend to Tom and support him while simultaneously calling out Tom's wife when she deserves it but not in a way that is so disrespectful to his friend that he burns that friendship to the ground. It's some kind of talent! I wish I had that. Instead I'm just 'real' in a blunt way that makes everyone get pissed. LOL I don't get this either. I thought it was even weird in the last episode when LVP was saying "Lala is in a different place in her life now and I can't ask her to fly in for xyz". To me that came off as "well Lala is filthy rich now so she is more important because...money. And I honestly think that's it. She's somehow considered "better" because she has this man's money now and she is in that filthy rich club up there with LVP. Lisa, in that past episode scene, acted like Lala made some kind of life accomplishment by marrying rich, like that's an actual career goal or something that her and Lisa both accomplished! Ridiculous.
  24. My thoughts on the new episode: 1. I am glad it's back. 2. Not a fan at all of the newbies. The girl seems desperate/clingy, the two guys look like one person, and the one guy talking about Sheena's kissing - that's just a douchy thing to do on national television and I didn't like it, and so don't like him. Douche nozzle! 3. I DON'T think Stassi or Katie have grown at all. They are literally exactly the people they've been every season. I agree with others that you don't have to remain friends with the same people, but Katie has always been a bullying bitch and always needs a fight, and I don't know what Stassi's problem is honestly. From what I'm seeing of this Kristin situation it looks like Stassi, Katie, and even Lala, are claiming they are being great friends to Kristin and "trying to help her" but not by being there for her or talking to her and sitting with her while she cries it out. They want to "be there for her" by demanding that she do what they want when they want and if she's having trouble she can fuck off. With friends like those.... 4. Lala saying she brings something to the table in her relationship - I think she nailed it. She always talks about her own body as if she is treated as a blow up doll and I'm guessing that's her "role", to be a living cum bucket for a large, old, rich, man. 5. Sandavol mentioning this very first episode to "bring sexy back" tells me that since marriage Katie is likely giving it up even less. I never saw what he saw in her but if he isn't even getting laid, yeesh! 6. and final: And I hope if people who see this post read just one part it will be this part: Katie listening to those guys talk about Sheena and then running over to tell Sheena isn't something a friend does. If your "friend" just sits around eavesdropping on on people, especially two romantic interests, talking shit about you and then runs joyously over to tell you about it instead of defending you and shutting them up and then sparing your feelings, that "friend" is no friend, she's just a bitch! Drop her!
  25. Okay, the summary: Iris is full of shit. Keith really dodged a bullet there! Amber is a nut, and while Matt certainly was an asshole for staying out all night, it's more than clear that that crusty nutbar would literally fall into his arms right this minute if he said he was into it. She kept saying it felt like they were parting as enemies even though he kept saying he was happy for her that she was doing well (even though she had that crazy girl way of saying she was doing well) and she just kept yelling about how he hated her. I can't believe Amber is such a nut that she actually made me feel sorry for and happy for Matt that he was no longer with that crazed velcro strip. It doesn't surprise me at all that Red wasn't into it as soon as the cameras were off. Big shocker there. Apparently she has a side hustle as Captain Obvious. And regardless of that final outcome they claimed, her body language had her legs crossed away from him and her body leaning away from him and very clearly if she isn't in the spotlight she isn't interested in anything. PS - when all the couples were on stage together, the body language was so telling. Amber and Matt literlaly leaning as far apart as possible, Red still making herself as apart from Jamie as possible, Greg and Deonna cuddled together, and Iris practically sitting in Keith's lap with half a person's worth of room on her other side of the couch. And last - Matt looked like a ridiculous pouting baby at the end there, BUT at the same time maybe he felt like everyone was just pushing him to say he wanted to be with Amber because honestly that's a little bit what it seemed like to me, like everyone wanted him to be like "I lost this really good thing" when instead he said flat out he knew immediately that he wasn't into it. I'm not saying that's okay to string her along, but I'm also not going to pretend that his penance is somehow to pretend he lost the best thing he could ever have because clearly she's a nutbar and he's better off without her.
